Carlos V - Toledo

Really not such a great hotel - paper thin walls mean that you hear what is going on in the hall and in the room next door. The staff is pretty uninterested in the clients. Breakfast OK, but the fruit was basically inedible. The issue with parking is interesting - 13.50€ per day is the discounted rate, which I found pretty ridiculous.

The hotel met our expectations. Its not a super high quality hotel. The rooms are fairly basic, a little dated, but clean and the location is perfect. For the price it is a great deal. No problems with this hotel

Yes, this hotel is somewhat tucked away yet oh so near to everything...especially the main plaza, just a few twist and turn down the way, but since it is away from all the action, it was rather quiet. We arrived to find a great view of the Cathedral from our room #418 window, along with a complimentary bottle of red wine (surprisingly not very good […] in a country full of great inexpensive wine???). Breakfast was included and it was fine...but the room was unfortunately faux Arabesque. The rooftop is available for use and we spent one night up there, all to ourselves, with a take out pizza and the free bottle of wine. Mehr

Great view and great room. I loved this hotel! It was clean, very nice inside with a great bed and bathroom.

Good localization near to hystoric center don't need take taxi from train station to the hotel, take the bus and drop at Zacordover Square. We really recommend

This hotel was decent enough, but there are better and less expensive hotels right around the block. The desk staff was moderately helpful but often rude. The amenities in the room such as air conditioning were nice, but a bit outdated.

Toledo should have been the highlight of our trip but the greeting we received from the front desk clerk started our stay off on the wrong foot. It was as though we inconveniencing this gentleman. He was unkind and put out to be bothered by new guests. He even scowled when we asked him for a city map and, when my daughter wanted her own map, you would […] have thought we had asked him for diamonds. He was unhelpful and surly to the point of being rude. And, this continued for the rest of our trip. He made us so uncomfortable that we had to draw straws to have one of us deal with him. So, for whatever conveniences, location, and character of this grand hotel, I would never recommend it to anyone. And, isn't that a shame. Mehr

Vi bestilte - og forhåndsbetalte - to premium rom for to netter på hotell Carlos V. I beskrivelsen sto det bl.a. at rommene hadde utsikt mot byen, make-up bord, kjøkken. Når vi ankom ble vi gitt to ordinære hotellrom. Vi klaget og fikk beskjed om at ikke alle rom hadde utsikt. Vi fikk bytte neste dag. Vi pakket og baggasjen vår ble flyttet til to rom […] hvor det ene rommet riktignok hadde utsikt over byen, men ellers hadde ingen kjøkken eller make-up bord. Det var heller ikke større. Hotellet er bra, men det er ikke holdtbart å ta seg betalt for en vare de ikke kan levere! Vi fikk heller ikke tilbud om kompensasjon. Mehr

El hotel está muy bién y la atención correcta, el único inconveniente fué que la habitación debía tener vistas y no fué así.

No se puede descansar. No volveré.

ni siquiera tenia mini bar en la habitacion,,,,,,y cuando pedimos un descorchador de vino ,,,me an dicho que baje a por ellos

Geen Bar of restaurant in hotel, enkel minibar in kamer. Hotelplein niet bereikbaar met auto wegens automatische ompaling ,enkel voor buurtbewoners.Dus eerst verre parking zoeken ,en de valiezen naar hotel sleuren op keien.

Muy buen hotel, a muy buen precio. Su situacion es perfecta para pasear por Toledo. Lo acaban de remodelar, y las habitaciones son muy bonitas. Mucho mejor que otros de la misma zona. No lo dudes, ve y visitalo.

Abrí la puerta y allí estaba, una estancia limpia con un baño muy bien acondicionado. El lugar para el reposo ó....., cama de matrimonio que nosotros elegimos, estuvo genial invita al descanso. Nada de ruido y se pueden bajar persianas con lo que se puede hacer buena siesta. La atención solo puedo decir, gracias, gracias por todo. La situación muy buena, […] en pleno corazón de Toledo. Te transporta a aquel tiempo e invita a soñar. Tiene aparcamiento concertado cerca. Me hubiera gustado estar más tiempo, pero seguro volveré pronto............ Mehr

El hotel resulta realmente muy agradable, tanto por los empleados como por su aspecto físico. Es muy bonito. Las habitaciones no son muy grandes, pero son cómodas. Para mí, lo más importante es la situación del hotel. Está super-supercéntrico!. Un minuto del Alcazar, dos minutos de la plaza Zocodover y diez minutos de la Catedral (andando). Ah! Beautiful decorated and charming hotel in the very center of the city at a really low price. Very clean also. The only problem is to arrive there by car. Even the GPS got lost in the extremely narrow streets. Some are so narrow you have to drive back uphill or touch both mirrors.
