"Nice room close to town"
Very nice small place about 30 rooms2 story mo elevator. Small pool and was surprised it was 7 ft deep. Most hotel pools are shallow. Only problem was alarm clock went off very eat am and we had not set it. Learned a lesson to check clock prior to going to bed from now on. Surprised housekeeping hadn't checked it. Notified manager.

"Great for an overnight stay while wine tasting"
This is a great overnight destination. We wanted a place to stay for one night so we could wine taste without worrying about the hour-plus drive home. We enjoyed wine tasting, dinner down the street from the hotel, and a plentiful breakfast the next morning at the hotel. "Worst night"
There is absolutely no soundproofing in the hotel, at least in building 2. Guests above us came in late and were up the whole night. They did not do anything wrong, just walk around and used the shower. It felt as if they were literally walking on out heads. Could not get any sleep the whole night.

"close to all sights within walking distance"
Enjoyed our stay, would stay again at Kronberg. Staff was helpfull in finding us a King bedroom as was booked at Hotels.com. We were given a two bed room upstairs on checking in but the lights didn't work and frig didn't have a knob to turn it on and room was too close to the stairs. The bed was so comfy and the jacuzzi was a real treat! Room & surroundings […] were exceptionally clean. Mehr

Don't expect to be bathed in luxury, but it's pretty good. The jacuzzi tub is a great touch and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside is the layout of the place is just average, with a very narrow courtyard for the pool, but they keep it maintained very well.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was extreamly comfortable! Will stay again!!

The room was clean and located right next to pool and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi bathtub was a nice addition and the two queen-size beds for comfortable. The LCD widescreen was larger than most and the entertainment system allowed for a full array of external component input, games, DVDs, &c
"convienent to every thing"
Staff was very accommodating & helpful. We were on the ground floor facing the pool area and had easy access to every thing. The rooms were clean & comfortable with all the amenities we needed. We would definitely stay at the Kronborg again.

"The Kronborg Inn in Solvang CA"
The hotel was fine. The only problem was I found a live tick on my scalp the next morning (hadn't embedded yet, thank goodness). It was gross and upset me. I flushed it down the toilet, because they are very difficult to kill. Upon talking with the management, I found that they regularly spray the hotel doors for ticks because there are many in the […] field across the road. In order to have any type of compensation, they would have needed to actually see the tick. Too bad - hope others don't have the same experience. Mehr
"Most comfortable bed EVER"
This hotel was clean and the bed was so comfy. I was thankful for the comfy bed and great selection of tv stations as I walked through the entire town of Solvang in 20 minutes. The shower didn't work so I ended up washing my hair in the bathroom sink. Upon check out the front desk clerk didn't really seem too concerned about the lack of shower in my […] room nor did he offer to do anything about it. Due to the comfyness of the bed I would totally recommend this hotel and stay here again. I learned a valuable lesson though, check the shower before you start unpacking! Mehr

Had a great stay at the Kronborg Inn. Stayed with a couple friends during an overnight stay visiting Solvang. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and bed was incredibly comfortable. We used the pool and it was heated which was a plus when using it a night. Decent hotel. Arrived after midnight so hotel staff was had left. My room was fine. My sister said her room was noisy from the road right outside our door. Literally 20 yards away from the main road for some rooms. Hotel room was clean, pillows were kind wierd. Just stayed to sleep then was off again in the morning.

We were only there one night and were very impressed with the room's presentation..gorgeous. The location was at the end of the road but then again it's a very small town. The only thing wrong was the attendant's hesitation to repair two electrical outlets and a light at the entrance..otherwise, memorable..

"Convenient and right price"
The Kronborg Inn is located at the west end of downtown Solvang. An easy walk to main shopping area for younger legs. Hotel checkin and checkout were quick and efficient. Breakfast is included, consisting of waffles, cereal, juices, milk, coffee, toast, pastries, hardboiled eggs and yoghurt but don't be the last one to the community breakfast area or […] you might miss our on the latter two. Our room was spacious with a high ceiling and ceiling fan. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom nicely done in travertine and included a spa tub. Blow dryer included. Our room was at the rear of the building but our wireless Internet signal was still strong. The only downside to our room was the faint lingering smell of cigarette smoke and deoderizer. The hotel is a non-smoking facility but that doesn't stop some people. Mehr

Very nice Hotel, the staff were friendly and courteous, the rooms were clean and furnished very nice. The refrigerator was larger than the typical hotel fridges and the microwave came in handy. Our room was on the backside of the hotel on the second floor it was quiet all three days of our stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and the short walk to all the […] shops. On my recent visit to California, I spent two days in the darling town of Solvang. The first major hotel you hit in town is the Kronberg Inn. What a lovely place. "Nice location but a little dated"
The Inn is on one side of Solvang and is walking distance to everything. We had a nice huge room and it was clean. There was a spa tub in our room but it didn't work (which is why we were able to get the room at a regular rate). The bathroom needs some updating and more elbow grease to get the slight mold ring removed from around the tub. For the price […] we paid, it was a very decent room and the bed was very comfortable. Great hotel we were so I pressed with the quality of this hotel and the staff went above and beyond what we expected . "birthday celebration for Hubby"
Great time for last minute getaway for Hubby's birthday. Decor was very nice, breakfast was perfect after a 3 mile run. Location was great to everthing. We are sorry we always passed this hotel. Beds very comfy. Will come again
Great rooms. looks like a new renovation. very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. it is on the outer edge of town but you can walk all the way through town in ten minutes. it is really only 3 blocks from the center of town.
"Krongborg Inn - Conveniently located - Affordable"
The rooms were spacious. The rate was affordable. It was conveniently located to Solvang village and we were able to walk to breakfast and shopping. But the experience left a lot to be desired. We were unable to check in to our room early on our way to wine tasting. The bed was very soft, too soft for us. The hotel is right off the side of the road, […] and you could hear cars driving by. The hot water only worked if you kept your hand on the dial, making it impossible to take a hot shower and inconvenient to draw a hot bath. The other couple we stayed their with wound up getting a gigantic room that had a jacuzzi tub in the middle of the living room, which made for some interesting after dinner highlights. Overall I think next time we will spend a little more to stay somewhere nicer. Mehr
"Kronborg Inn"
The hotel was very nice and clean. The only thing that we didn't like was the sliding door to our room was only covered with a sheer curtain. The lights were very bright in the courtyard and in our room the entire night. Plus, we felt we didn't have any privacy.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice breakfast in the morning.
