Much clearer than most of its reviews. Great location. Towels were old and sctatchy. Room felt damp. Parking lot way too small. Good third or fourth option. Not bad for the price. It's a bed and a restroom, not much more

I was recently staying at the Super 8 and what I found was disgusting. Behind the tv I found dirty panties, a receipt for gun ammunition, and other random pieces of garbage.

There were dirty towels from the previous guests left in our bathroom. Hair left in the shower. Trash all over the parking lot. Very poorly maintained.

Staff was very friendly and courteous. It is an older motel and it shows but was very clean and no moldy smell like some newer ones I've been to.

Very clean and great location

This affordable CLEAN hotel is walking distance from everything downtown in Corpus Christi AND it is less than 100 yards from the water WITH an awesome unobstructed view of the Gulf. I would highly recommend this hotel for someone looking for value and location!!

hotel receptionist was very rude and unfriendly. I stayed there 2 nights and she was same kind both days.

The parking lot at this location is extremely small and hard to access. Great location and comfortable beds made it a nice stay.

The people at the hotel were nice. The only real problem that we had was our room was dirty. There was something similar to blood smeared on the wall. Since the room was fairly dark, even with all the lights on, it was hard to notice. I think next time we go back to Corpus Christi we will find somewhere else to stay.

This hotel will NOT allow a late checkout (11 am is too early) even though most hotels in the area post a noon checkout. I asked but was told that "late checkouts are not allowed." One thing that was nice was the cold a/c. It regularly reaches 100 degrees(F) in Corpus and having a cold a/c helped. The hotel needs a bit of a renovation (tile in bathroom […] moldy, bed a bit too hard). Noisy area (teenagers with boom-boxes in parking lot at midnight). Location was good (easy access to beach and restaurants). You get what you pay for. Next time I think I'll spend a bit more for another hotel. Mehr

We recently stayed at this hotel, at first it was fine we checked in and everything went well. After we checked out I received a call from the hotel stating that we were going to be charge a $20 FEE!!! for an exchange of a pillow. I know we had left a pillow behind but we were on our way to the beach and didnt see the point of going back until they […] wanted to charge me $20!!! Went back the lady at the front desk stated we left a pillow behind and we took one. I knew for a fact that we didnt take a pillow. My husband even went to the room where the housekeeper was still cleaning in and he counted 8 of their pillows, which was the correct amount, and an extra pillow we left behind. The housekeeper said she must have miscounted and thought there was only 7. I was so angry we were already heading to the beach and had to return back to the hotel and look and "count" for ourselves the number of pillows. It was such an inconvenience to do so much work on my family vacation. Mehr

amazing service! the breakfast is simple and good. the room was absolutely comfortable and just the right size.... i just wish they had a fridge in the room to be able to keep cool my drinks and stuff like that. but over all it was a very nice stay. i would absolutely recommend it.

The man in the front desk seemed as if he did not want to be working, He was not friendly at all, through our entire stay, He was the only one when we arrived and when he checked out. I tried to be friendly with him but he never smiled he just looked dazed. We did not have a room in the front of the building with the view of the ocean as expected, when […] i booked the reservations, we were in the back of the hotel. The room had no microwave nor refrigerator it did have a coffee maker and an iron with board and four pillows to a bed which was very nice. We went to Corpus for a wedding and had to be checked out by 11:00am. I did appreciate they let us check in a few hours earlier. I had asked if we could extend our stay. we were told NO. since they do not offer room service. The breakfast was dissappointing, only sugary sweets, the coffee was very good also the apple juice the kids drank. I did not want to argue with the man in the front desk for the reason it would just spoil my weekend away from home so we made a bad situation into a suitable one. i would not recommend this hotel to a friend because of the fact that people are hurting for money and they do not need to guess if there will be a microwave or refrigerator in the room. The room was clean and supplied with soaps towels, but the other room I had booked had no towels nor supplies. when I go back to the Corpus Christi I will not be returning to the Super 8 on shoreline. We got a Non-Smoking room but upon entering the hotel room there was a strong odor of smoke still lingering in the room. My guest and I ended up just staying in the room for the two nights. Put the air-con on high so we couldn't smell it. The parking lot was small compared to other hotels that I've visited. Room service did not visit our room to make […] the bed or even give us clean towels for the next day. Bathroom is pretty small and the pillows are flat and small. Not only that but my credit card was charged $50 bucks in case of any damages that occurs during the stay. I mentioned to the recpetionist that I didn't plan on ransacking the room but mentioned that it was still mandatory. Friendly staff with an okay stay. Close to the arena that I visited. Mehr

I am a travel nurse, and after reading several not so great reviews, I was a bit nervous, but this place worked out well. Close to the hospital, beautiful view from the second floor, staff very nice, and since I work nights and sleep days, I requested not to be disturbed, and WOW..they did not disturb me! Little continental breakfast was fine, subway […] is just next door anyway for a heated breakfast sanwich if needed. I was ok to stay and will again! Mehr

I like the location of the hotel and the convenience of it being close to the water but I wish that the beds could be more comfortable but thanks it was still enjoyable to us
