"Nachsanison - alles zum Wohl des Gastes"
Wir haben Jasper in der Nachsaison besucht und fanden eni Hotel, dass sich wirklich um die Zufriedenheit des Gastes bemüht. Uns wurde ein Upgrade (von nach innernliegenden Atriumraum auf ein Zimmer mit Balkon und herrlichem Bergblick) kostenlos angeboten, der Pool wurde renoviert und wir bekamen zutritt zum Pool des Nachbarhotels, etc. . "We have stayed here many times and will again."
This is one of the better hotels in Jasper and has everything for a family. Just wish Japser was a little more proactive in updating itself. I can understand the fear of becoming commercialized like Banff but they need to find that middle ground.

"Pretty good"
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Sawridge Inn Jasper, though I did not like the fact that my room faced indoors (the pool/common area) so I couldn't open the window or get fresh outdoor air into the room. I liked having access to a kettle to boil water in the room.

i was a little displeased when the power to our room went out! the hot tubs were closed for maintenance and that was not specified on the site. the jacuzzi hot tub that was working was not hot at all!!!

"Not worth it."
A run down hotel that is badly in need of refurbishing. The TVs are a good example-prehistoric. Food is expensive.

"Sawridge Jasper yucky pool/no movie"
The room itself was modest yet clean, we were unable to rent a movie the second night because there tv movie rental system was down. After callin down to front desk to inform them it wasnt working, they said they would look into it and get back to us. 40 min later as my children were getting restless I called back down to front desk for them to inform […] me that oh ya its broken and not available for the night. The desk clerk was very friendly, The pool and hot tub were working and were clean. The room was clean and had robes available in the room and towels at the pool. The hotel was nicley decorated and had a variety of ammenities.
"Sawridge - Overall better than most"
Jasper is one of my favourite places to visit (in the World), however there is not good competition for hotels so the hotels are fairly weathered and lacking modern facilities and upgrades. Sawridge is probably the best in town outside of the Jasper Park Lodge, which is usually sold out or prices are to high.

My fiance and I stayed at the Sawridge for one night, March 16. Everything was lovely, nice atmosphere and great food. Breakfast buffet was excellent is really reasonable as well. Clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Only negative was CHILDREN. They put us in a room next to a room full of unsupervised children. My fiance had to get up and tell the […] children to be quiet as the noise went quite late. Also, they took over the pool/hotub area even though there was an age restriction to the hot tub. All the adults had to get out of the hot tub because the children were too rough. Perhaps the hotel should enforce better or have it staff supervised. Suggestion to the hotel: Put kids/families with children on one side of the hotel and keep one wing/side for the adults looking for a little R&R. Mehr

the pool was not working.the staff failed to keep me up to date on the events of the hotel, for example a concert held at the pub on the nite we were there.the restaurant was closed too long of hours.

we had a fantastic 2 days, staff were very friendly food was good in the restaurant , cost of meals reasonable. only thing room was very warm had to turn on air for a bit. overall would highly recomment the place.

But.... while we were there the jacuzzi tub inside was shut for maintenance, this was unfortunate because the outside one is really small and we cant supervise the kids in the pool from outside. "Not Completely Happy"
We enjoyed our stay but found the room was very hot and hard to cool down, the beds were uncomfortably hard and the indoor hot tub was not functioning. All a little disappointing for one of the more expensive hotels in Jasper.

The hotel is beautiful and convenient to get in and out of for sure! We requested a King and got two queens...and the number of dogs left by their owners to whine and bark the day away was bad enough that we switched rooms (to yet another queen set :( ) The indoor hot tub was broken, the patio door was frozen off its tracks, and the restaraunt debit […] was down- all added up to not the best stay. "Wonderful place to stay and relax"
My husband and I stayed at the Sawridge recently for a ski get away. We had an enjoyable day of skiing and then went back to the hotel to relax. We had a wonderful dinner at the hotel and went back to our very comfy king sized bed. The only down side to this room compared to one we stayed at years ago, was this one was noisier - pool side. We could […] hear the kids in the next room very clearly and the kids yelling at the pool. As a couple with grown kids we could tolerate this but would have chosen a quieter room if given the option or staying more than one night. Stayed two nights in Oct 2011. Spacious room. Nice hotel facilities. It is located about 15 minutes walk to the centre of town, and is the furthest away on the main road- so probably not best if you dont have a car or arrived by train. Unfortunately I had a room near a very noisy ice machine, but there was no noise from the central atrium where there […] is a restaurant and pool. Parking is outside, had average quality toiletries and the free wifi was notoriously slow - odd considering it targeted to conferences etc. The heating of the room was also a prob as the noisy internal heater unit was too loud to sleep with to overcome the fixed ventilation air which was quite chilly and then it wasn't. Overall these are all small issues- and as I believe this one of the better hotels in jasper, I would recommend . Mehr

We visited the Hotel off season for one night. We would have liked a Continental Breakfast included in our charges. This would have suited us as we didn't use the Leisure facilities.

One of the nicer hotels in Jasper. This is on the edge of town so its harder to get to the heart of the city. Having said that, a great option with plenty of parking and amenities like Swimming pool and hot tub
"Now I know what an 'atrium' room is..."
At the far edge of town, but worth the drive. Food and service at Walter's Restaurant was excellent. Beds were ultra comfy...and bed linens were divine. We had an 'atrium' room (surrounding a covered pool), but noise level was tolerable and quiet at bedtime.

"Post-Labor Day stay"
The previous reviews had us on edge but we found the staff good, and the room comfortable. Its decor was dated but also very lodge like. We just crashed for the night so we didn't use any ammenities except for the pool.

This Hotel was very easy to find. After a quick walk about town, we decided this was probably the nicest hotel in town. Well maintained, clean, and kid friendly. The pool was great. Friendly staff...

"Excellent location with stunning views"
This hotel is great, just out of the center which made it quieter but a must stay, reception staff were all lovely and helpful and the rooms were great and had everything that you need for a great stay, the pool was lovely and the hotel decor was stunning and all colour coordinated which was good to see, very clean and tidy and the food and breakfast […] were great well worth having, beds were cosy as were the pillows, rooms have plenty of space bit like home from home.
