"Mehr Motel als Hotel"
Das Hotel ist vom Komfort eher ein Motel. Unser Zimmer mit zwei Queen-Betten war sehr klein und hatten den Charme der 60er Jahre. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis anderer Hotels auf unserer Reise war deutlich besser. Im Restaurant gab es Abends ein sehr überschaubares Buffet, aber die Qualität stimmte. Das Hotel liegt wunderschön. Die Familienzimmer bestehen aus einem Zimmer mit Doppelbett + einem Einzelbett und einem geräumigem Woihnzimmer mit "Wandschrankdoppelbetten". Die KÜche ist mit Geschirrspüler und sehr gut eingerichtet. Jedes Zimmer hat eine eigene kleine Terasse mit Wiese. Im Hauptgebäude befindet sich ein Innenpool mit Whirlpool. Die Zimmer der günstigeren Preisklasse (in meinen Augen imme noch genug Geld!) waren serh sehr alt und winzig. Hoher Lärmpegel.

"Für eine Nacht gut"
Zimmer im Hauptgebäude war sauber, geräumig und ruhig. Die Preise sind Lake Louise entsprechend hoch, wobei dieses Hotel preislich eher im unteren Mittelfeld liegt. Der Pool, insbesondere die Sauberkeit der Duschen, könnte etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit bekommen. Frühstück haben wir nicht probiert, kann somit nicht bewertet werden.
"Muffiges Zimmer schlechte Betten"
jede Nacht gibt es Stromausfall dann gehen auch die Rauchdetektoren nicht und das in einem Holzhaus

Man parkt mit seinem Wagen vor dem Haus, in dem das Zimmer ist. Außenflure, Treppen, keine Aufzüge, aber bei Bedarf kann man sich beim Koffertragen von Bediensteten helfen lassen. Also eher Motel als Hotel. Der Bau ist aus der 60ern. Mein Zimmer mit zwei Queens war klein. Für zwei Personen kaum Möglichkeit die Koffer unterzubringen. Kein Schrank, nur […] eine offene Kleiderstange. Frühstücksbuffet warm/kalt oder einzeln bestellbar, freundlicher Service. Am Abend gibt's Pizza/Nudeln oder kleine Gerichte im hauseigenen Pub im Keller. Auf meiner Rundreise waren die meisten Unterkünfte in derselben Preislage besser als dieses Hotel. Wenn es unbedingt Lake Louise sein soll, z.B. als Start für den Yoho-NP, dann geht es für eine Nacht und es ist nicht zu teuer. Sonst würde ich immer eine Unterkunft in Banff vorziehen. Mehr

Das Personal war unfreundlich, musste 40 min in Schlange warten um ein zu checken, Zimmer waren schmuddelig, musste Koffer 3 Stockwerke die Treppe hinauf tragen. Ich Zelte lieber als dass ich jemals dieses Hotel betrete.

Staircase in the block # 4 is in a horrible condition: dirty, shabby, one wants to run away the moment one opens the door into it.

"Hotel in a resort"
The room was not large, but it was clean. Although the rate was not low, I was not supprised as long as this hotel is located in a resort area. From the hotel to the ski resort was less than 10min. drive.

The property is getting a bit tired, the rates are reasonable for the area - you get what you pay for.

...due to the area, five minute drive to the ski hill is a plus. Was as the best priced room in the area due to the 'Famous' hotel catering to the 0.1%ers and wannabees. Great linens, a balcony so it doesn't feel claustrophobic but still has a tube TV. Good food in the lounge. Great breakfast buffet ($$) w/healthy choices like fruit/yogurt/oatmeal but […] also has trad. eggs and pork. Plesant suprise that they also serve Starbucks. Comparably you could save approximately three or four 'green' notes by staying about an hour East or West; but this location is convenient if you want to be the first person on the chairlift. Mehr

"SHORT STAY IN LAKE LOUISE INN"
The Lake Louise Inn was a very nice place to spend a few days in snow country. Amenities including shops, supermarket, Greyhound Bus Station and gift shops were withing walking distance and the Courtesy Bus to Lake Louise Ski Runs was free of charge and most convenient. The Breakfast Meals were very good and service was friendly and professional. I […] had a problem with a noisy room on the first night and Reception sent a maintenance person to the Room, we had a chat and I was moved to another room promptly. Some additional information regarding the World Cup Downhill FIS Event was not available from the Front Desk when an enquiry was made, however with some persistence I managed to get the answers to my questions. If travelling with a Bresters Bus you will be dropped off at the Hotel whilst travelling with Greyhound you will be dropped off at Samson Mall which is a 10 minute walk in the snow. "Too pricey for what you get."
Stayed one night and thankfully that was it. The beds were very stiff, the room was cramped and small. Two of our towels were dirty. The walls are also very thin as we heard the people in the room next to us perfectly. Will not be staying again.

"Lake Louise Inn"
Noisy, first room was really smokey. Creaky floors, thin walls, road traffic- not impressed. I believe they have some newer rooms different building that are nicer but avoid anything else. Checked out a day early.

"What a disappointment."
Rather run down, needs a complete interior renewal. Very nice from the outside. Much too expensive for what it is. On top you have to pay for WiFi connection and breakfast. Moreover they gave us an inferior room with a pull-out bed, so time lost in getting a normal room.

This was a great deal on Hotels.com and it was a pleasant stay. When I get a lower priced room the only expectation I have is cleanliness. this was a clean and affordable stay in a very desired area.
"Overnight stay"
We spent the night in Lake Louise after hiking to the Lake Agnes Teahouse. The hotel was close and covenient. The room was tight. Not much space to walk in and the beds were ok. It was clean and dinner at the Explorers Lounge was great. Staff were very friendly. Nice for a short stay.

Location was good, but the Hotel Room was well worn (very experienced)....needed a RENO. Not a very clean room. No stopper for the bath tub. The electrical system was not adequate!...When using the hairdryer, the elect. in the whole room went out and it took a while for maint. to fix it. ....not even "we are sorry" for the inconvenience.

We had an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite with kitchenette, 2 baths, 8 beds and fireplace from standard 2 bed room - wow! what a great deal -the fireplace and big screen TV were much appreciated on cold night. Excellent accommodation for a big group or family. Both restaurants in lodge were good, excellent pizza in Timberwolf Cafe, good breakfasts and […] buffet in Explorer's Lounge. We also booked standard 2 bed room on return trip. This was very minimal room, no vent in bathroom, some wear and tear showing. Overall stay was good, we appreciated the good service and friendly attitude of the young international staff in this mountain resort. Mehr

We were bit not sure about the Lake Louise Inn when we booked the hotel. It turned out to be great experience. Thanks to a free upgrade to the family suite. The suite came completely equipped with everything – even a cooking range and pans and pots. Although we didn’t need any of these it was nice to see how well maintained the room is. We were particularly […] concerned with our 6 month old son. Everything was clean and neat. Of course the Chateau Lake Louise is the ultimate place to stay in Lake Louise. Good hotel. Nice outdoorsy feel. I stayed in building 4. Door was a little draughty. Other than that, it was fine.

Check in went well, staff was couteous and very efficient. Room was small but everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The place was quiet even though it was across the road from a main railway line.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a nicer room with a great view free of charge! The room was great and so was the continental breakfast in the morning--you can make your own waffle. We also enjoyed the cozy lounge downstairs one evening. There is no reason to stay up at the lake when the Lake Louise Inn is much more reasonable, […] comfortable, and less crowded. This hotel is very old, the rooms are very small, the bathroom is worn out. The bath is dangerous...so slipery that you fall taking a shower. Very expensive for that quality of room.

"beautiful place, very poor place to sleep"
Not sure where to start, but here are a few things we were not happy with: the beds were awefull and had huge craters in the middle and the top mattresses were too big for the boxspring so when you sat on the edge it felt like it going to slide off, no towels in the pool area even after asking and them still not coming in 20 minutes - 3 of us had to […] share a towel, the breakfast at Legends was cold and old - paid too much for a buffet breakfast and the eggs were cold and rubbery, the quesidillas were rubbery, the bacon was cold and undercooked - made you feel sick after only a few bites. On the other hand the front desk staff were very attentive and quick to process the line through and they did bring pillows in a good time when we asked for them. Mehr
