gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Zimmer allerdings für 3 Personen eng, Zustelliege für grössere Personen weniger geeignet

Das Park Plaza Utrecht ist ein lautes, x-beliebiges Kettenhotel, ohne nennenswerten Service, in einem schäbigen Neubauviertel, weit ab der Innenstadt mit völlig unzureichender Klimaanlage und ohne Möglichkeit, die Fenster auch nur einen Spalt zu öffnen. Im deutschen Strafvollzug sind solche Brutbatterien verboten!

Das Hotel liegt gleich am Bahnhof. Zur wirklich sehr schönen Innenstadt sind es ca. 10 MInuten Fussmarsch. Manchmal gab es längere Wartezeiten an der Reception und auch die Barkeeper waren nicht von der schnellsten Sorte (Wartezeit von 20 Minuten für den Monatsdrink für 6 Personen, und wir waren fast die einzigen Gäste). Aber das Personal war freundlich […] und hilfsbereit. Mit einem Zustellbett sind die Zimmer etwas eng. Die Zimmer im 4. Stock waren neueren Datums. Unsere Freunde hatten Zimmer im 6. Stock, die waren teilweise älteren Datums und im Korridor und in den Zimmern roch es nach Rauch, obwohl striktes Rauchverbot herrscht. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatten wir mitgebucht. Es war sehr reichhaltig und wurde im grossen Ganzen immer wieder nachgefüllt. Das Hotel hat ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Vielleicht würden wir das nächste Mal ein Hotel näher bei den Grachten buchen. da spart man sich den Fussmarsch mehrmals täglich. Mehr

Good breakfast. Clean room. Quiet if you dont stay on the tracks side of the hotel which I did not.

Stopped for one night en route to another destination. Friendly staff, great breakfast and comfy room. Location right by rail tracks isn't the prettiest but very convenient for transport and if you have time take a wander round the old town and canals as it is a very nice town once you get away from the train station.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, only stayed for one night but it was very central, close to the train station and to the city centre too and breakfast was great too.

The front desk staff is very friendly and the room is quite clean and comfortable. It takes some time to locate the hotel, but actually it's just near the station and through a tunnel, you can reach the train plat form in 3 mins. Very convenient !

Park Plaza Utrecht is positioned between the main rail line on one side and the local tram line and busy roads, so it is convenient to reach when travelling. But be prepared for a noisy dawn awakening - earplugs recommended!

I needed a room close to the train station as I had to continue my journey the next morning. The hotel was only a short walk away but the down side was alot of noice from the trains all night long. If you book this hotel you have to make sure to get a room that does not face the trains. The room could have been cleaner as well; there were visible stains […] on the wall behind my bed. The hotel is, however, a rather cheap and duable solution if you need a single night in central Utrecht. Mehr

Nice hotel in a great position (2 min walk from railway station and 5 min walk to city centre). The rooms have modern furniture and a confortable bed. I must definately complain about the service because while I was sleeping the receptionist entered my room using her own key and she forced me to pay 400€ for she smelled cigarette smoke. I wasn't smoking […] at all but she heard no reasons And so I had to pay in order to spend my other two nights in the hotel. I travelled most everywhere and something like this never happened to me so be careful! Mehr

I have nothing bad to say. The hotel is right next to the train station in Utrecht and 10 minutes walk to the centre of town for shopping, restuarants and bars.Price wise it is very reasonable too. The staff were immediately friendly and helpful on arrival. The place has a pleasant decor and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

very comfortable hotel, exec room 2nd floor and although not bang in the middle it is a real 10 minutes to lovely city. Watch out for the bikes...

Excellent hotel, close to central station and easy to find. At first sight, the hotel looks outdated from the outside and not at all attractive. Once inside, there is a surprisingly lovely and modern reception and bar area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean and comfortable, what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. Excellent […] location as well. Don't miss out on the climbing of the famous 'Dom' tower, like we did as in summer (if the sun is out) it might be booked out! Alternatively, a 'lekker koud wit bier' with 'bitterballetjes' made up for our disappointment. Mehr

great hotel, next to everything, great shopping center attached to train and bus station next door. Five mins walk into lovely town. Hotel staff so helpful, very clean and spacious, would def stay again

Hotel was close to the central station, not bothered by the trains, as this was a concern when we booked, location meant you had to walk either under the train tracks or via the train station to get access to the town and canals, breakfast was good, plenty of variety. we booked a double room with an extra bed for my daughter, this made the room very […] small, when you opened the bathroom door, it opened out and it hit her bed, which was a camp bed, not the best, staff really nice, we arrived at the hotel at 10am and check in was 2pm, but they took in our cases without any hassle Mehr

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and quiet. The location suited us, near bus and train stations. Pity about the loss of purse.

Hotel is located beside railway station. If arriving by train you can walk to the end of platform 19a, down the steps, turn left and you emerge beside the hotel. We were not disturbed by train noise despite getting a room at the back but the 3rd person had to sleep on a pull-out bed and it was creaky and noisy which did disturb our sleep.The bath tile […] grouting wasnt great but overall the hotel was clean and nice. We ordered chicken sate from the limited dinner menu and the chicken pieces were gristly and certainly not chicken fillet. We then found a nice italian restaurant on Oudegracht , Il Pozzo, and a lovely mexican restaurant Popocatepati on Nobelstraat. Shops and restaurants are a short walk from the hotel and you can take a short-cut through the station and shopping centre if is is raining. Hotel staff were friendly and I would stay in this hotel again, however, I would resent paying extra for a third person in the room if they did not get a proper bed. Perhaps larger rooms were available but I did not complain abour this as the hotel was busy. I did complain abourt the food but got no response from the waiter. Free Wifi is available in bedrooms and there is access to a computer in the lobby where you can also use a printer. Mehr

Nice staff, very friendly with directions. Location is a little further than I would have wanted from the centrum, but in the end only a 8 minute walk or so. Room was clean. Breakfast typical. Overal I would return!

Ideally located, very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend.

This hotel was great. Colleagues have mentioned the noise from the train station nearby, but I honestly didn't notice it. The executive room was very well equipped with a large flat screen, comfy chair and an expresso machine. Staff were very attentive. My only complaint would be the gym. Its very small and was very hot. I left after five minutes. […] The kit all appeared to be home gym rather than pro gym. Mehr

I had an issue with hotel room description on arrival, we had booked a 3 bedded room and description was that the room would accommodate 2 twin beds, on arrival we found 2 single beds and a sofa bed, this was argued at reception and unfortunately the issue was due to an incorrect description set out by hotels. Com and not the hotel, the room was very […] restrictive for 3 people. Although this was an initial problem for us and not one created by the hotel ..as identified by checking other rooms and own descriptions, the hotel staff did all they could to placate us and went out of there way to satisfy . Resulting in a positive outcome, we were in a 4th floor room - non refurbished and facing the railway station. The standard of room although not yet refurbished was fine and although facing rail line had no noise or interference from trains, room facilities were fine and satisfactory, bar and restaurant service very good and breakfast although an extra charge was ample and in general all you could eat.. Would recommend for short stay if want to be close to transport and town centre, not really recommended for 3 people sharing, and Hotel. Com description and detail needs to be corrected. Mehr

Close to utrecht central train staton but even though I had pre-paid wat i understood was the "full cost" of my accom, an additional Eur 8 for "Utrecht city taxes" was charged at check-out which was inconvenient and annoying because this wasn't highlighted at time of booking, nor at time of check-in.

Hotel OK first room was quite horrible and overlooking railway line - very noisy. Moved to a much nicer room , not as close to town as you think, much nicer and closer places to stay for same price..

Very standard 4 star hotel. Quite noisey as next to train station. Should be good location but building works made walking around more difficult.

Very comfortable hotel right next to the train station and within walking distance of Jaarbeurs where we were attending an antiques fair. Hotel was clean and pleasant....definitely filled all of our needs. The only thing that surprised me was the additional city tax collected at the end of stay when I thought all the taxes and fees were included by […] booking thru Hotels,com and prepaying. Mehr

Excellent Hotel. Parking should be free.

Modern and in good order, if you need to drive to Holland and stay in a hotel with good access to Amsterdam this is a very good option. Close to train station and a €13 return to the RAI convention center or Central Amsterdam.

The hotel was nice enough, but the exorbitant charges they put on EVERYTHING left us rather angry. A 3 minute phone call to Amsterdam placed from the room set us back 15 euros. But that was NOTHING compared to the breakfast charge of 19 euros per person (!!!) for a stale, uninspired selection of cold cuts. And, of course, no one informed us that breakfast […] was NOT included in the online booking price, so we were faced with quite a bill at check-out. We stayed in a variety of hotels on our 2 week trek through Europe, and this one seemed to exist for the sole purpose of milking its visitors for every penny. Do not stay here. Mehr

I booked a PRE-PAID room in this hotel and when I arrived was told that, yes, the room was pre-paid and I had only to leave a credit card to cover "incidental charges" (mini-bar, that sort of thing). When I returned from my trip I noticed that the hotel had charged my credit card more than $165 in unauthorized, fraudulent charges. Moreover, the paid, […] internet service available in the lobby computer assessed my credit card an additional $70.50 for 3 minutes of internet use (which my receipt told me would cost $2.00). unico neo del soggiorno? ero in macchina ed il parcheggio interno dell'albergo è tutt'altro che gratuito...18 euro la prima notte, 8 la seconda!! parcheggiare all'esterno è praticamente impossibile data l'assenza di posti auto gratuiti....per il resto, tutto assolutamente perfetto!!

enkele minpunten: geen wc-borstel naast toilet waterkranen zeer slecht regelbaar. gevaar voor brandwonden! geen rustruimte bij de sauna betalende parking voor hotelgasten?

dicht bij centrum , lekker uitslapen ,en toch nog goed ontbijt
