Wir waren schon zum 2.ten mal in diesem Hotel. Vor 2 Jahren das letzte mal. Diesmal waren es 5 Nächte. Die Lage ist ideal. In 5min. ist man am Strand von Neptune Beach, in 10min am JAX-Beach. Hier ist immer etwa los. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten aller Art sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und steht immer mit Tips zur Verfügung. Das Hotel hat weiterhin einen schönen Pool hinter dem Haus.

Der Pool war für die Größe des Hotels evtl. etwas klein. Es fehlte am pool vor allem eine Möglichkeit zu duschen und sich umzuziehen.

Dieses Hotel hält den Vergleich mit europäischen Hotels der Spitzenklasse zu jeder Zeit stand. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das stets freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Die hervorragende Lage, direkt am feinsandigen Sandstrand, der zu langen Wanderungen einlädt. Und gleichzeitig einen Pool zum gepflegten faulenzen. Ein Restaurant das höchsten Ansprüchen gerecht wird. Da unsere Tochter in Jacksonville lebt konnten wir von hier aus viele Touren starten( St. Augustin, Amelia Eiland, Ichitucknee und natürlich shoppen)
Lage
Rodeway Inn & Conference Center liegt in Orange Park (West Jacksonville). In der Nähe befinden sich: Orange Park Mall, Jacksonville Naval Air Station und Westside Regional Park. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region gehört Folgendes: Mandarin Museum.

The location of the hotel was great for me and the rate was fine.
"Convenient for those needing to stay near JaxNAS."
At first glance of the hotel itself I wasn't impressed, but after checking in and heading to our room I noticed the pool area was clean as were the walkways. The room was very clean and neat. I heard some people complain about the age of the TV... Really? You go on vacation or business trip to spend the majority of your time in front of the boob-tube? […] The TV was older but worked perfectly fine. Do beware that if you book online they will ask for an additional $10 when checking in. No idea why. The main reason we picked Rodeway was because it was VERY close to JaxNAS. I mean within a 5 minute ride (barring traffic). Mehr

Good location right off 295, near places to eat. My only suggestion, do a better job with the rooms, bed covers smell and so does the room. Over all decent place to stay for the money.

"A night with the cockroaches"
I reached for the Gideon bible and encountered 4 roaches running around it. I found roaches on the wall, but worse, I caught them at my suitcase. The microwave didn't work and the tub was rusted. It is not a convention center because the meeting area is chained locked. The restaurant/grille appears to have been chained up for more than a year. False […] advert. as to restaurant on premises. I declined the 2nd night I had reserved and the desk clerk refused to give me any assistance in the reimbursement claiming she could only give me a different room. Worn out and crummy carpet. Bits of debris near the walls. A/C /heater would only run for about 30 secs. and then shut down. Mehr

If it were not a walking distance to Kennel Club I would have not chosen it. Big mistake, room smells, dirty. Keep searching.
"Great room for the price"
Everything was as expected. Check in and Check out were fast and easy. The hotel was in a great location for what we had planned to do the next day before heading home. The breakfast was just enough, but for what I paid I did not expect much. The room was clean and quiet.

this was an awful place. the clerk called and asked if our rooms were clean. the inside of rooms i dont think have ever been touched by any cleaning products. but the location was excellent and so was the surrounding businesses.

"Worse Stay Ever"
When we made our reservation we requested Non Smoking First Floor rooms due to prior surgery. When we got to the hotel there were no non smoking rooms available, we had to take smoking rooms, the rooms were dirty and there were roaches that we killed in all three rooms. The next day they did move us to non smoking rooms but it didnt get off to a good […] start at all and I dont think I will ever stay at this hotel again EVER!!! Mehr

"Cheap Hotel"
The hotel was cheap for the room, but you get what you pay for. The room was basic, The room and especially the bathroom was old. The fixtures were in horrible shape and the tub ran all night. If you are on a very tight budget like I was it is ok at best but you would do much better spending a few dollar more and staying at a nicer place like a Days […] Inn or Red Roof Inn Mehr
Locatio and price were the main reason this hotel was just what we needed. The only down side was the "breakfast " very limited. Near by restaurant named Grumpies was great. Room was comfortable and having a mimi fridge and microwave was great. Would go there again.
"I do not recommend this hotel."
I think there were people actually living there. It was very dumpy. I chose this hotel because of the restaurant and lounge plus they said the pool was still open. None of this was true. I will not go back there. Staff was nice.
"Clean and comfortable"
The room was not luxurious, but everything in it worked, and the television reception was first rate. The king size bed's mattress, pillows, and linens were very comfortable. Toiletries and coffee were provided as well. Service was friendly. However the room was not in good shape. Carpet near bathroom and sink had water damage and was still damp. Some painting was needed and the towels were not clean.

Hotel was packed; looks like people were living there. pool had to be locked and shocked for at leaset a day. breakfast was a mess and had things like twinkies; out of orange juice came out a weird looking liquid..

"Good room for the money"
We had a nice stay at this hotel. The only problem we had was one of our rooms had a door that would not automatically lock when you closed it. We informed the clerk and she offered to change our room. We declined as the dead bolt worked well.
