I've used this hotel twice now and I guess it's fine if like me you just need somewhere in the area for one night. While there is no one thing perticularly bad, I find virtually everything about this hotel bland, lack lustre and boring. The dinner menu is very limited and both the dinner and the breakfast the next day were very poor to be polite. If […] you use this hotel as somewhere purely functional then I guess it's fine for the area, but I'd hate to end up somewhere like this with my family for a few nights. To be honest, I have not used most of the facilities so I can't comment. The staff at the reception area were very polite although I requested a wake up call which I did not recieve the following day. Sadly the staff in the dining area are well overdue a course of customer service. Mehr

Only here one night for a concert at the LG, not too far to travel in a taxi except it was snowing, nice hotel, big large comfy bed and room was very good, didn't get to sample any food so can't comment, but would definitely stay there again, staff were very friendly and helpful

I was pleased to find that the hotel was a stones throw from torchwood shopping centre, with plenty of restaurants and bars. My only disappoint was that these is a £5 charge for the car park which isn't made obvious at the time of booking. I found out about it my reading other reviews. I then looked for it in the small print, I feel this charge should […] be made obvious at time of booking so that costs are more easily compared with other hotels. Mehr

Clean and welcoming. Large clean room. An additional armchair in the ample room size would have been useful. Very good breakfast. Good location very convenient for the adjacent shops, amenities and local attractions eg. Cadbury World, Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle. The road signs directing the location of the hotel were confusing. Combining Ramada […] with Holiday Inn is confusing giving the impression that the hotel is called "The Ramada Holiday Inn". Separate distinct signs would avoid confusion. Overall I would recommend the Holiday Inn at Solihull to my friends. Mehr

Very pleasant stay & convenient for town centre - staff very helpful & pleasant but think the car parking should be free for guests

Stayed at this hotel twice now and cant fault it at all. perfect hotel in a perfect location and also got a good deal on the price through hotel.com. Keep up the good work Holiday Inn!!

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great location close to shopping and restaurants. Would stay again !

Have stayed in this hotel numerous times and its always a hassle free stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and the location is perfect for touchwood and other attractions. The only issue I have is with breakfast. £14 each seems very expensive for 2 people, so much so we went somewhere else and had a lovely breakfast for £6!

Hotel was ok - convenient location close to centre of Solihull and bedroom was nice enough. However pool/spa area was not enjoyable - no steam in steam room/no humidity in sauna! Hotel is very old-fashioned and a bit dated in terms of decor etc. Nobody available on reception when I tried calling from room/went to the desk in person. Hotel right opposite Shopping mall, that was a nice surprise. Restuarants in the Mall as well. All very convenient. Stayed with my friend who works in Solihull, only downside was the Twin room I booked for us was for disabled.

we chose this hotel as the marriot forest of arden where we usually stay was full so it looked great in the pictures and it was,our only complaint was food based-restaurant menu basic and both food and wine expensive,dirty wine glasses and the worst breakfast buffet i have ever had,also room faced a cinema/fast food complex,very noisy until late.

Todella siisti hyvä hotelli Birminghamin messukeskuksen (NEC) lähettyvillä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta ja kaikki sujui kuten pitääkin. Ravintolassa hintatasoonsa nähden hyvä ruoka, joskin hiukan hidas palvelu. Aamiainen oli todella runsas ja hintansa väärti.

We visited Holiday Inn Solihull in March going for Cruft's. Everything was just great. Surroundings are excellent and offers a lot of nice walking areas for dogs. We were also offered a special place to wash our dog and staff was super cooperative. We will book a room here for next year as well. Highly recommended!

det er 8 mil (8x1.6 km) unna senter til birmingham og er i sossete område. men her finner du ALT. shopping mat og drikke. hotellet har basseng i treningsenteret og ergratis. hotell er litt gammel og tvæn r fra 1990. har du bil koster det 50 kr pr dag. for parkering. grei hotell. de ga meg feil regning som inkluderte frokost og internett. jeg brukte […] ikke disse to fasilitetene, men resepsjonist var skikkelig sur fordi han mente at jeg skulle betale. jeg ba ham sjekke med kollegaen sin som han ikke gjorde. blei surpomp og jeg dro uten å si ha det.
