Microtel Inn Gatlinburg - Gatlinburg

The rooms are small, but very comfortable and accommodating! It's walking distance to anywhere downtown! We had a great stay and will definitely be staying there again next time we travel to Gatlinburg!

This hotel was not fancy and had no extras (pool) but it was walking distance to Ripley's and downtown. Great location and a super good deal for the price. My son had a boy scout event a Ripleys so it was perfect. Free parking and free breakfast. We had a queen room with a sleeper sofa for 4 of us and it was two adjoining rooms with two bathrooms. We […] had privacy from the the kids. Large flat screen TVs and the rooms were clean. We couldn't hardly buy breakfast for 4 for $50 so it was a really good deal. Mehr

Not the nicest microtel we ever stayed at...but not bad enough to keep us from staying at another microtel....

This hotel is exactly as advertised. Minimal room at minimal cost.

room was small but we only slept there. the bath tub was dirty but the rest of the room and bed were clean.

This hotel was right off the main strip. It was in the perfect location. The room was a little small but perfect for two people just looking to sleep and shower. The flat screen was nice, even with hbo being fuzzy. The staff were helpful and housekeeping did a great job. No complaints

My friend and I plan on making another trip to Gatlinburg in the near future.We had a great time.This is the place for a girls road trip.It's only a 4 hour driver from the middle of South Carolina.This is our favorite new town.

This was a nice little hotel right off the Parkway in Gatlinburg; employees very pleasant, room comfortable enough. Actually loved the big mirror - made the room seem larger which I'm sure was the effect they were going for. The only complaints: not thrilled with the breakfast food options although the coffee was good; and not happy with the barking […] dog in the next room. But, I would still probably stay here again. GOOD LOCATION---ONLY THING I CAN SAY WAS GOOD ABOUT THIS HOTEL--POLICY ONLINE DID NOT INFORM YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE IN HOTEL WITH PET AT ALL TIMES, NOT PET FRIENDLY-STAFF UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE, WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!!

When I go to Gatlinburg, I'm there to spend the day in the mountains. I just need a place to sleep and take a shower. This hotel satisfies those needs. The rooms aren't fancy, there's no pool, and there's no workout room. But, the beds are comfortable, and the showers are hot with good water pressure. It's also in easy walking distance of the Parkway […] and the various restaurants, shops, etc. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this works fine and saves you a lot of money for this area. front desk employees, very rude, unprofessional, hotel states pet friendly, it is not, what they do not let you know is their policy states someone has to be in the room at all times when your pet is in the room , how many pet friendly restaurants do you think they are -----none------- they charge a extra fee for pets-which is fine, but to state you […] have to be in the room at all times, thepoint of a hotel allowing pets is so you can bring your pets and be able to go out and shop and eat and know they are safe and comfortable, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, worst place I have ever stayed at, front desk employees are rude and not at all helpful, they definitely need better staff and policies,microtel policy online does not state this pet policy at all, STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!! Was attending the 3FC fights at the Convention Center and it was a perfect location. We just had to walk directly across the street to the main entrance. The room was small but since we were just staying the night and didn't spend much time in the room it was fine, especially for the price.

Good clean place to stay, I'm disabled so it is easy to get to shopping from here, staff very helpful.

Really great hotel for the price. Cheap,very close to the main strip and clean. The rooms are very tiny and the beds are not the most comfy,but for a weekend get away for two people its just fine. Very friendly staff, especially James!

The hotel was great overall. There were several areas in need of repair, but it was obvious they were undergoing an update to the facility. The only thing that I would change is that since this is s pet-friendly hotel, there should be somewhere on the grounds to relieve themselves for the responsibile owner to clean and place in trash recepticle. There […] was very limited areas on the property that were green, had bushes or trees and those had rocks with spray paint on them reading 'NO PETS'. So it's pet friendly, but only to an extent. Easy walking distance from area attractions. Hotel is a little dated but clean.

Nice staff, decent rooms, great location. We stay here every time we go to Gatlinburg and we love it. Nice place for the cheap price you pay. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit Gatlinburg

excelent location you couldn't get any closer to the convention center. We were there for the TCTC Tennessee Christian Teen Convention. perfect for what we needed. We will be back..

Very basic, but holes in wall from taking pictures down. Bathroom floor sticky and toilet clogs easily. Hair found on sheets. Most Gatlinburg hotels are very basic anyway.

I say take a loud fan because they now allow animals in the hotel and a Dog started barking at 5am. Some Hotel guest were very loud, but you can get that at any hotel you stay at. This was our 4th year staying at this location and we love it. Great price in the best location in Gatlinburg.

this place is getting crapy! left the maid a good tip two days in a row. and still cldnt get your sheets changed! it was below freezing outside and we had to run ac in your room just so we cld sleep! and the wifi sucked! so dont plan on reliable internet...ive stayed here several times. but i think ill try somewhere else next time

I'm not a complainer ... I'll pretty much stay in any hotel just to be on a vacation...but I have to complain about this hotel. The location was amazing super close to everything walking distance which was great! The major issue was the walls. We could hear everything above us beside us behind us and in front of us. Walking, talking, snoring, etc.a […] The last night we were there I had to sleep with headphones on because we could hear a man snoring in the room next to us. It was as if he was in the room with us....not good. The hotel would have been amazing if the walls were just thicker we loved the location, the staff was really nice, always parking spots open, just paper thin walls. Sorry Mehr

I do not have pets, but for the price and location. It was a pleasant stay.

It was close to town which we wanted. The beds were uncomfortable and room not too desirable but for one night it was ok.

The hotel location was great...and that was it!! It looks really nice from the outside...until you walk in. The room was FILTHY. The toilet was literally unscrewed from the base, there was yellow staining all around the base of the toilet, the bathtub had mold and mildew, the handles for the shower were black and moldy, the floor grout was stained and […] could really use a scrubbing, the tile floor was sticky and dirty, the sink had some black staining in the cracks...and the list goes on! We were so grossed out that we didn't walk on the floor barefoot! We layed towels all over the bathroom floor and walked in our shoes inside the room. The bed was as hard as a rock. The so called "breakfast" was a tiny room with 3 tables, some sour old orange juice, apple juice, coffee, a few mini muffins, toast, Cheerios, Rice Crispies and fruit. You have to squeeze your way in there to try and toast your bread or get anything. When we got there about 30 minutes before it ended, the bagels had ran out and no one bothered to put any more out. We were tired from a long day and we didn't bother to complain to management, we literally just wanted to get over that night, wake up and get out of there as soon as possible! We will NEVER stay here again. Pay the few extra bucks and stay somewhere cleaner and better. Mehr

We checked in to our room and when we went into the room it smelled dirty and our feet stuck to the bathroom floor/ we complained to front desk and they moved us to another room. This room smelled cleaned but was still dirty/dusty and the bathroom floor was sticky and the sink and tub were disgusting/ did not shower

Busiest month of the year... No available parking in the hotel parking spot. Had to park next door in the parking lot, and pay $8 so I could check in. They did offer to refund the $8 the next morning, but I left before the manager showed up. They also offered that I parked near the trash pickup which gave me a spot for the night - working to solve […] the problem which I appreciated. The outside doors to the stairs were not locked. One of them had no lock, the other was jammed so it could not be locked. This was my biggest concern The beds were comfortable and clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. Cracks in the basin just looked a little cheesy, but no big deal. Mehr

Very basic but the room was clean

The hotel was want me and my husband wanted. It was clean,nice and the other guest staying there were very nice and friendly. We loved the room it was clean and nice and small but we were only there to sleep. During the day we were out and about. We will go back.
