Ich war in diesem Hotel, da ich zu einer Konferenz an der Trent University musste. Dementsprechend war die Lage für mich optimal. Die Gegend hat mir aber auch abgesehen davon sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt viele Restaurants und bis zur Innenstadt ist es nicht weit. Alles Wichtige ist zu Fuß problemlos erreichbar. Das Personal war auch immer sehr nett, man sollte allerdings keinen ausgefallenen Service erwarten.
Lage
Folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich in der Umgebung der Unterkunft Hilton East Midlands Airport: Donington Park, Donnington Park Racing Circuit und Elvaston Castle. Folgende Sehenswürdigkeit befindet sich in der Umgebung: St. Mary and St. Hardulph Church.

Nice hotel, friendly efficient staff. What a shame about the £5.00 parking charge; surely this should be included in room fee as you have no alternative but to park there.
I am very satisfied, i will visit you again. Kind people, good service and value for mony.

A good 4* hotel at a very reasonable price including one of the nicest breakfasts we've had. We took our little girl (18months) with us and nothing was too much trouble for the hotel. They really made us feel welcome, especially given the snowfall on the Saturday evening. We had an early dinner on the Sat and again the hotel staff went out of their […] way to get highchairs, move tables and prepare food for our daughter. We will certainly be back to stay again. "Exactly what you'd expect!"
The hotel was exactly what you would expect from an airport location Hilton. Staff were freindly and efficient. Room was basic but comfortable. Only ate breakfast which was fine. The location is not quite as close to the airport as I thought it was going to be but that is probably a bonus with regards to airport noise. Good value.

I have used this hotel often and it never fails to impress. Courteous, friendly and efficient staff, great breakfast with nice fresh food of high quality. Comfortable above average room, good bar and lounge. If you fancy something simple that's not on the menu, like an omelette, they'll make it for you. Plenty of parking (a £5 supplement but well worth […] it) plus an average gym with sauna, steam room and pool. The surrounding area is OK but not spectacular, as it is on a dual carriageway but no traffic noise and a very convenient location for Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and the East Midlands. It is named as being the Hilton East Midlands Airport, but unlike the other airport hotels it is not on the airpoprt complex, which in my view makes it a better place to stay. I'm using it as a base for the Trent Bridge test match in June (a mere 20 minute drive to the ground) and look forward to yet another enjoyable stay. Mehr

I was very impressed with the service from staff at this hotel. All of them were extremely friendly and did everything possible to make us feel at home. The breakfast was lovely as well. The room was comfortable especially the bed. I would highly recommend this hotel for a nice relaxing break!

"Lovely hotel"
We had a real bargain on this hotel for the night, and the room and fitness suite were lovely, clean and comfortable. You do need to pay a parking fee of £5 for an overnight stay, which they waived for us, but I think this was goodwill as it was a bank holiday. We also received a bill in the middle of the night slipped under the door for £37, which […] was un-itemised, but when we queried it with reception they were quick to say it had been a mistake and apologise. "good choice of hotel for airport stopover"
super hotel we will use again. fruit on reception, and pastries early am was a real bonus. hotel staff were lovely, and it felt personal even though this is a large hotel. not ideal for those like use using skybus- could a deal be done with bus company please, re a closer stop on the bus route?. Parking was extraas was the transfer to the airport and […] wifi . these 10 days parking was more that the rate I was quoted for the overnight rate, so check with the hotel before booking, and ensure the full/true cost of your stay is clear befoe you book! "Parking problems"
This otherwise excellent hotel stay was marred by confusion at reception at 2.00am [it is after all an airport hotel]. Reception seemed to think we were parking there before our hols, whereas its was on our return as we had a late flight. Given wrong info over bay nos, charges etc. and to cap it all we had to pay £5 even though we had stayed overnight. […] I am still not clear what the system is and in no mood to to take on details at 2am when we just wanted to get our head down. Emailed to inform of late arival, but computer registered it as 'no show' lovely!! Hilton should produce a brochure that clients can study beforehand. Mehr

"Fint hotel, men dårlig beliggenhed."
Hilton East Midlends Airport er et dejligt hotel at bo på, det er væsentligt bedre end Thistle EMA på alle punkter. Dog er Hiltons beliggenhed ikke særlig god hvis hvis man skal til og fra lufthavnen, der er ingen lufthavnsbus/shuttlebus! Hotellet sørger gerne for transport, men det koster 8 pund pr. gang.
