Insgesamt waren wir mit allen Leistungen des Hotels sehr zufrieden und würden dieses Haus wieder wählen. 1983 in Betrieb genommen,ist das Haus bis auf Kleinigkeiten (Schwimmbadscheiben teilweise großflächig milchig geworden,Sintergestein auf dem Terrassenboden vor dem Zimmer,schon stark an- und durchgerostete Gitterstäb um die Terrasse,abgebrochener […] Fuß des Hosenbüglers) in sehr gutem Zustand und das Preisleistungverhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall.Auch die großzügige Gartenanlage mit Teich und angeschlossenem 9-Lochgolfplatz (alles Par 3),Tennisplätzen,Minigolf und Kinderspielplatz erfreut ebenso wie die Parkmöglichkeiten am Haus Mehr

Schönes Hotel in attraktiver Parklage mit extrem freundlichem Personal und guter Küche. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber, lediglich ein Kühlschrank und ein Safe fehlten uns. Der einzige und doch sehr erhebliche Mangel des Hotels war eine intermittierende Lärmbelästigung von 7-23 h durch eine Kühlungsanlage,die sich im Innenhof des Hotels befindet, hervorgerufen wird. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it was a good base to explore Guernsey. We had chosen it because of the health club in case the weather was bad in March. The room was great, with a brilliant view of the lake and a welcome terrace. The breakfast was really good, and a great start to the day with some really good staff working. We ate in on of […] the restaurants one night which was ok, but nothing amazing. The health club has been commented on a lot previously - I wasn't a big fan of the changing arrangements and found the set-up a bit intimidating, but the facilities were clean and not overrun. I understand that this hotel used to have a very good reputation . Although there was nothing wrong with it there was little out of the ordinary to commend it either . i suppose just with the 4* rating my expectations were too high . the pool is nice and the rooms suitably comfortable . But the walls are very thin you can hear your neighbours conversations […] ( and the hotel was practically empty) . On the whole the place has a sterile atmosphere . Stayed at hotel for short break. Unpacked then found that our basin tap had no cold water, plumbers came to inspect and then we had to change rooms - whoever prepared the room must have known about the problem! Second night, no sleep as seemed to be large group of young guests running around the corridors, shouting and banging on doors in early hours […] (BTW we had requested a "quiet room"). I love this hotel and return to it again and again! Stunning rooms with balcony and views, sumptuous fittings and bathrooms, fantastic breakfast buffet - biggest in Guernsey! Friendly staff and this all adds up to a great place to stay whether for business or pleasure!

Stayed there in February and found the rooms noisy and duvets too thin for the season - I was cold at night. Breakfast disappointing (cooked breakfasts are best fresh rather than from a buffet).

We checked in to this hotel for two nights due to a friends wedding. The hotel has everything you could need, from speedy room service to a chilled out swimming pool area and also boasts a really nice spa. The breakfast buffet is brimming with well cooked hot food and a wide range of cold meats,cheeses and juicy fresh fruit(I thought it would be rude […] not to try everything :-)) as there was always a well equiped gym to use if wanted! A friendly and efficiant service by all staff members was always evident and made this stay special. I stayed here with a friend for two nights whilst visiting friends in Guernsey and we found the service to be fantastic. Our room was cleaned quickly and efficiently, the beds were very comfortable, there were toiletries in the bathroom (plus a shower cap) and the pool, spa, bars and restaurant were exemplary - the hotel is a little dated but I understand […] that it is gradually being refurbished and upgraded which is great news. The only negatives was that although it does offer free wifi, the signal strength is very weak and we both struggled to connect to it on various devices unless we were in the lobby - bit of a shame but at least it's free! We were also woken up a couple of times by the noise from the function rooms on the ground floor (we were on the first floor) - in fairness they were company Christmas parties and expectedly loud but there is little to no sound-proofing so you can hear everything - I assume it must be better on one of the higher floors. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay and I am staying again next week because I liked it so much! Fantastic location - there's a pub/restaurant just down the road and it's only a 10/15 minute walk into town or a two minute bus or taxi ride. It's also on the coastal bus route for those wanting to see the island on a budget! Mehr

The room was very well appointed and comfortable with a massive bed (although it was a single booking). The staff were all very courteous. The bar service was good. The only negative thing that I can think of to say was that the toilet in the en suite was hard to flush, otherwise the standard and cleanliness was excellent.

Stayed at the st Pierre for 3 nights. Had a very relaxing stay. The bed was comfy and rooms each had a coffee machine. There is free wifi throughout the hotel. The pool and spa were lovely. Food was delicious. Will definitely return.

We had a great stay, the pool was lovely and dinner in Victor Hugo restaurant was a delight. The service was brilliant, even though we had our 5 year old in tow. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

First impressions of the hotel is excellent. We were met by the consiage who was very polite and helpful. Booking in was very quick and efficient. We had a lovely room on the 'garden' floor which overlooked the childrens play area, tennis courts, crazy golf and golf course. Our room was very clean. Being on the ground floor prevented us from leaving […] the door open at night. The room did not have air conditioning therefore became very hot at night. The bathroom would also benefit from a extractor fan. Breakfast was fantastic. Wonderful service and a lot of variety. The Renior resturant needs to have the menu displayed outside the resturant rather than at the reception and would benefit from offering a choice of how many courses are served. It has a 3 course meal at a set price. If we wanted a dinner with vegetables rather than chips we had to go to the Renior but we didn't want 3 courses. The Terrace bar offered a variety of food. Some of these dishes were a bit small. Burgers and gammon definetly recommended! It had a welcoming atmosphere and was somewhere to relax and have a drink. The pool was very clean and restful. It rained for most of the holiday so would have liked to have gone to the games room but it is closed. We would definetly recommend this hotel to couples although we did notice that families seemed to be enjoying the childrens facilities. Mehr

Spent a lovely few days with friends at this hotel. The staff were excellent but I think I was hoping for something a little bit better. Everything was "alright" but nothing special. Our room was above a huge fan/generator which was extremely noisy for most of the day, the room itself was clean but a bit old and tired, as was the swimming pool which […] had a very strange changing room arrangement. My only criticism is that the hotel lacked air conditioning, so the bedroom was rather hot and stuffy and required that the patio door be kept open eevn at night to manage the tempature. Otherwise evrything else was excellent.

The hotel was clean and the room quite spacious but despite it being mentioned in the advertising, did not have a fridge. One did appear in our room after two days, but as we were only staying for four days it was a bit late in the day. The hotel is conveniently situated for bus stops and very near to a very good Waitrose where we could buy a takeaway […] lunch, water etc. The hotel restaurant had good and pleasant service but the food was a bit uninspiring and extremely short on vegetables. I've known the Pierre Park a long time and stayed there frequently, especially in the 90s and early 00s. Today it seems run-down and poorly maintained and it needs a complete refurbishment. It does not warrant its 4 star rating - 3 at most. It's fine dining Victor Hugo restaurant, once a great place for a special occasion meal, is now the breakfast […] room (buffet - average quality); the Cafe Renoir is the only restaurant. Its website boasts a fine a la carte, but on arrival for dinner the offer is the set menu for the day (not tempting) and no a la carte on offer. I went elsewhere. In the bedroom, no minibar, just an empty lukewarm fridge; no trouser press; no fruit; no complimentary water even; minimal bathroom items. But the room size and view were good - the one redeeming aspect. Overall I was disappointed and, although a frequent visitor to Guernsey, I have no plans to return to the Pierre Park any time soon. We don't normally stay in a large hotel, preferring the more intimate smaller ones. This hotel looked good on the website and the real thing was just as good. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff so attentive. We didn't use the Terrace Grill or restaurant as they were a little out of our price bracket. The amenities were superb. We enjoyed playing […] tennis and swimming and although we don't play golf we enjoyed walking round the trim trail and sitting at the lake watching the ducks. I have stayed at the St Pierre Park several times as I have family in Guernsey, but will be considering another hotel next time, purely because there is no way to control the temperature in the rooms - one day in particular was extremely warm and given that room had a balcony with the sun blazing in all day it was like an oven when I returned and I […] did not want to have the balcony doors open all the time because of noise and cigarette smoke from the people on the decking area directly below. I also had a refrigerator on my first stay, but these seem to have been done away with as when I asked for one nothing was forthcoming. I don't expect every hotel to have such facilities, but I do expect them when I book and pay for a four star. Leaving these aside, the breakfast buffet is exemplary and the rooms are very clean - I would lastly point out that fastening two twin beds together to make a double only really succeeds when the beds are of the same height. Reception was friendly, warm and efficient. There service was prompt and on time. I had to leave very early the next morning. The wake up call was on time and the taxi all ready waiting when I had to leave for the airport. I only ate dinner while staying at the hotel which was well prepared. All in all a pleasant experience.

The hotel and staff were great and would definately come back again and stay. The only drawback was the water pressure in the bathrooms was so low you only got a trickle of water out of the shower, which was not great when trying to rinse shampoo out of ones hair.
