The only thing was the phone in the room didnt work. They did offer to change rooms. Who doesnt have a cell phone these days? Great for Tradex visits go in the back way and sty out of traffic.

My 5 year old son describes it as super duper yuper good.

Will stay at this hotel every time we are in the Langley area - treated very well - price is reasonable.

the hotel was very clean and smelled clean, our room was spotless and the beds were very comfy. They also gave us dinner coupons and free breakfast and free movie rentals. Overall it was a very good deal.

The Hotel was the middle of the excitement for our Re-newal service and reception. As this was our 25 Wedding anniversary. Close to everything. The only problem was the construction in the hotel. But we worked arouond this.. Great time was had by all

The hotel is under extensive renovations at the moment, so the front entrance was not available, nor the elevator service. The work being done was loud in the mornings.

First, I was not told when I booked that the hotel was under major construction. There were no working elevators and we were on the second floor. We had to walk over half finished floor tiling at the top of the stairs. I was told I would have a kitchenette, but all that was there was a microwave and a mini fridge. No cutlery and no dishes. Friends of […] ours had full kitchenette. We were also told there would be a washer dryer in the room, and there was not. The wireless interenet was not working at the hotel and there appeared to be no real rush to rectify the problem. This was an issue for me. The smoke detector was missing in the room and the wires hanging from the ceiling. The parking lot was very crowded due to construction materials. Otherwise, the room was nice and the staff friendly. Probably will be a very nice hotel when it is finished being renovated, but very inconvenient right now. It was handy to be across from a strip mall with restaurants and drug store. Mehr

I was expecting my stay at the Best Western Country Meadows to be decent, "good enough" maybe... but it was WONDERFUL! The staff there are absolutely AMAZING! It didn't matter what I asked of them, they were accommodating. At one point I felt that I was even being pretty ridiculous with my requests- but they never wavered in their A+ service. My 11 […] year old son kept going to the front desk requesting random items and they served him with the same friendliness and respect as well. The hotel was undergoing renovations, but it didn't affect my stay whatsoever. The breakfast in the morning was okay. The food itself wasn't anything exceptional, but it's FREE (so who can really complain about that?) and you definitely don't go hungry by any means. I appreciate that it's more than just fruit and muffins like most places and there was no limit on the buffet. The staff working in the breakfast area were also really great. My family and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub and we thought the selection of DVD's you can borrow was great :D. I will most certainly stay here again! Mehr

We were especially impressed by the novel "Mouse Maze".

The staff at the front desk were very nice, our room wasn't ready when we arrived so they gave us another room , room very nice, the hotel will be very nice when ther reno's are complete, would stay there again if I were in the area

This hotel was a great place to stay. It was clean and the staff were very nice. The breakfast was excellent with many choices including eggs and sausage, potatoes and waffles, not just a muffin, fruit and coffee like other continental breakfasts. My only suggestion to make this a better stay would be to get quiet air conditioners in the rooms, they […] are way to loud and it was annoying to watch TV and sleep the first night. Mehr

Undergoing renvovation at the time of my visit - otherwise very good stay. Will use hotel again when I am in the area.

hotel was well located and friendly, however the free breakfast was sub-standard. The eggs and the hashbrowns were inedible, and cold. But having said that, other items, cerial, yogurt, fruit were very good. Hotel clerk indicated that the staff was new and noted our complaint. We had breakfast across the street at McDonalds. Hotel was easy to find and centrally located for our purposes. The hotel was under construction so the only rooms available faced a fairly busy road. Additionally we were all the way at the end of the hotel on the 2nd floor right next to the breakfast room. Noisy in the AM and noisy a good portion of the night. Didn't find the elevator so I carried […] the bag up and down the stairs. OK for the money but nothing to write home about. Mehr

We found this very convenient as we were travelling to Calgary the next day. It is outside of Surrey and that was okay with us.

Both my wife & I thought the place was great value, great breakfast, great service we will stay again.

We crosssed the border and there it was.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I never did successfully get on their wireless internet but that could be a fault of mine. I will put this hotel on my list of places to stay in BC.

It was easy to find the hotel. no elevator. nice breakfast. enough space in the room. big twin bed.

There didn't seem to be many choices in the Langley area. I picked this one based on the mostly positive reviews, the price, and the location close to the border, and not too far from the hockey camp my son was attending. The room was nice and there were quite a few channel selections on the large flat screen tv. There was some road noise at night, […] but it was mostly drowned out by the airconditioner fan. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special, run by a very nice lady. There was no noise noticeable between rooms, however, you can hear everything out in the hall, and anyone in the hall can hear everything in your room. Fortunately, for the 3 nights we were there, no one got up too early, nor did anyone stay up to late making a lot of noise. I did see the comments about the noisy airconditioner, and ours rattled everytime the compressor kicked in. But the temperature dropped into the 50s F at night, so we just left the fan on w/out the AC. All in all, I was happy with the hotel. One note, if you're planning to spend a lot of time in Vancouver itself, this hotel is way too far away, especially considering the horrible traffic once you get west of Langley and closer to Vancouver. There is a $3 dollar parking fee per day. Mehr

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 min across the US Border and in a good area of town, close to gas stations, restaurants and the highway. The staff was very nice and gave helpful advice on local places to eat and places to consider seeing. The breakfast had an array of things from hot waffles, to cereal, yogurt, […] fruit, bagels, muffins and hard boiled eggs. The only "down side" was that the key machine was broken so staff had to let us into our room at night and the 2 DVD's we played (complimentary by the way) kept freezing. Not sure if it was the disc itself or the player. Also, parking is $3/day and is charged seperate from the initial bill. Overall, I would recommend staying here - it has all of the comforts of home: a free business center, fitness center, laundry facility and free breakfast. The room also had a fridge, microwave, blow drier, iron and board and coffee pot. Mehr

Staff was wonderful. Room was beautiful. Breakfast was incredibly outstanding. Pool was perfect. The best hotel out of many on our vacation.

The People and the room were nice but, the air conditioner was noisy and finally it broke.

We thought our room was clean and comfortable. Very nice appearance, nice beds and linens, large flat screen TV, lots of room and nice breakfast buffet. Great value, and conveniently located on or near main highways.
