Although the hotel rooms were quite dated and in need of upgrading, the staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! "No hot water!"
Hotel is right off the highway by the airport. Wasn't built to be a Baymont - used to be something else and it showed. Several buildings in the property and we stayed in one that had no water pressure and NO HOT WATER! Found this out when I went to shower I. The morning. Front desk clerk was gracious and gave me the key to room that wasn't used so I […] could shower. Hotel is apparently a work in progress. Staff was kind and breakfast appeared to be good but no bananas... Would think twice about staying here again in the near future until they bring it up to better standards... "Good location"
Good location. Great Breakfast. Room was fine. Only would let us get one key which was annoying since we had two adults coming and going at two different times. I enjoyed my stay except for the noise in the room next door at 1am. It took two calls to the front desk before they responded and/or were successful to stop the loud music and laughing. It suddenly started just before 1am and continued for almost two hours. I was disappointed that the staff couldn't or wouldn't stop the noise at that time of the morning. […] We were startled when the loud music started and not able to go back to sleep. The front desk personnel simply said 'yeah, okay'. Didn't seem to care and clearly not professional in her response. She was also about the same when I checked in. Just looked at me when I asked a couple of questions and responded the same way, ie uh huh, yeah. I told her there was spilled water on the floor of the lobby leading from the front door to the desk, covering a lot of the floor. "Out-standing"
When I saw the price I was a little concern but I wasn't looking for a pricy room. Since I know I was going to be out and about but I still wanted something nice. I did see the review and pictures so I went ahead and booked it. When I arrived to the hotel I did notice it was nice and it was right off the highway which was a plus. Walked into my room […] and it was clean and smelled pretty good. And do I have to mention the beds. It was like I was in bed heaven. LOL!! "Nice stay at Baymount"
My stay is always nice at the Baymount. Is it a fairly old hotel. Water pressure is not that great. The hotel has that old mold smell. However the beds are comfy and soft. "Goof for the price"
The rooms were clean and the staff nice. I wasnt to thrilled about the surrounding neighborhood. You could say the "getto" started right behing the hotel. The rooms are nice and clean ( at least mine was) and the beds are big and comfortable. "All that glitters ain't..."
Breakfast was good and the rooms have amenities and overall the place looks decent at first glance but both rooms they moved me into had a stench of dogs/animals, and be sure and check water pressure on arriving. Great value for the money. Hotel was ok clean, needs some upgraded corridor glass doors. Drain in tub was very slow. Power went out as a result of storm - no generator to take over. Power off 3 to 5 hrs. Would not recommend if single traveling female. OK for families & couples. Very near to hotel hosting family reunion. "not a good place to stay"
there were roaches in room.the receptionist are rude.told them ice maker didn't work in room was unconcerned.also told her big ice machine for motel wasn't working.maintenance came to check ice maker.,he said was missing a part .said was going to get part and he never came back and ice maker was never fix within the 3 days i was there.could of atleast […] came back to say sorry couldn"t find the part.water presure in restroom sink and shower was very very low.there was a water leak in kitchen running onto the carpet.very bad stay was a waste of my money. The hotel was supposedly just renovated althought it looked like a work in progress. The bed was comfortable, Room was clean, and the breakfast was great. For the price it was great. Have stayed here in the past and was very pleased. Advertised that it had been renovated but nothing was done . Stated they are "in the process". "Best Western as usual"
This hotel was sufficient for what we needed but we had several concerns and probably would bot stay here again. The sheets on the bed were wrinkled and looked used..both beds not just one. The comforter and sheets were brown stained. yuk! The breakfest in the morning was awesome and salvaged our experience and the staff was very nice.
