Best Western Hollywood Plaza Inn - Hollywood

Found bed bugs... so if you are looking at staying here, think twice!

Myself, son and husband stayed here for 2 nts for a quick trip to LA. Its in an excellent location and really good value for money. We have no complaints, the staff were very helpful and the rooms had good facilities.

Poor service. The first room I was given was occupied already, then the second I couldn't get in despite going to reception 3 times to get the key card reactivated. Rude staff who greet guests with a 'yes?' instead of a 'good morning'

Room is not worth it for what you paid. Dirty and unpleasant room.Cable TV sucked and very poor internet connection.

We stayed at this hotel because we were attending a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. It was located perfect walking distance, less than half a mile & was extremely convenient to walk to & from our concert. The only thing is arriving at the hotel from the 101 was a challenge as there was a ton of traffic on this very busy road. But that's what you get […] anywhere in LA for a location like this! The room was clean & the staff was friendly, we would definitely stay here again although probably only if attending an event at the Hollywood Bowl simply because of the traffic in this area. If you are a tourist coming to see Hollywood for the first time, however, this hotel would also be ideal for you as it is very close to a lot of historic sites in the area! Mehr

The reason to stay here is it's location. Close enough to walk to Hollywood Blvd or the Hollywood Bowl. I've been to better Best Westerns and the service at this one was sub-par. However the room was clean and everything worked. The air conditioners are noisy, and parking is a hassle, in their lot they had trouble finding me a space.

Made reservation same day everything was perfect and within walking distance to everything Hard Rock Cafe, Wax Museum, shopping I would recommend this to anyone

Free parking appreciated, spa was great in evening before last run on Holywood blvd. Didn't charge me for roll away. Location perfect, by Walk of Fame and by the highway just up the street. The free parking made this hotel cheaper per night than others nearby. Parking a little tight but the car didn't get digned or anything. All rooms are on either […] 2nd or third floor, and Parking is below the balconies. So you can usually park where you can see your car from your door. There is nothing to complain. Everything to see is very closed in walkin distance. Enjoyed our overnight stay very much

Took a quick trip to LA to visit my daughter. I made a last minute reservation at this hotel & was very pleased. Hotel staff was friendly & informative. This hotel had the best ever shower & water pressure of any hotel I've stayed at. The room was small - but met our needs perfectly. It was clean, well kept & because our room was towards the back of […] the hotel street noise was not a factor. I thought it was a little over priced when I booked it, but after driving around & seeing other places on the same street I realized that it really was fairly priced. Location was great - easy freeway access. Walking distance to some great restaurants & attractions. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again Mehr

This was a great location for walking to Graumans and walk of fame. Had breakfast in the little restaurant. Great food and great service. I will stay here again. Free parking also, which is hard to find.

Thanks so much the stay was excellent. Our room was clean. We really enjoyed the restaurant SPICE that is located on grounds. We ate breakfast and dinner there. The restaurant is located a few blocks from the "Hollywood Walk of Fame" and Hollywood Boulevard. We will be back soon!

The best thing about this hotel is that the location is great. Safe and a 5-minute walk to tourist attractions in Hollywood. But I dont like the quality of the room. It hasbit of smell in it. We go to the Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl. This hotel, and two others, are easy walking distance to the Bowl and to Hollywood sites. We don't need a car; hassles with parking, etc.

The location is nice. It is just 5-10 min. walk to Hollywood Blvd, where many restaurants, sightseeing bus stops, shops are located. Chinese Theater is also in 10 min. walking. The room was just OK. The room has a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator. Why can`t I complain?

Very pleasant stay. Appreciated the heated pool. Service at all levels was great.

Great place to stay, very nice staff, very clean. A touch of high prices, but middle of the road for the area. Easy walk to Hollywood Blvd. and all the touristy spots. Not much parking in the area,don't leave at night because there might not be a place left for you when you get back. We've stayed here a few times when we've needed to stay a night in Hollywood because the location is great and the price is very reasonable. Bed not very comfortable and we wouldn't dare step foot in the tiny pool. You get what you pay for. But I will say it seems to be the best choice of the inexpensive hotels in the area.

Best Western Hollywood Plaza on 2011 NHighland Ave is the place to stay when you want to see action in Los Angeles...the hotel is located in walking distance of almost all important attractions and the Hollywood BOWL is also close by...staff is very friendly, and the food in the restaurant is good...highly recommended to stay there

Just park your car and walk to the bowl!

Nice hotel for the price, within walking distance of lots of attractions. Not the place to stay if you have a large vehicle. Parking is very tight and has low clearance. The cab of my truck cleared the covered parking by only an inch. Very scary! Otherwise a nice place

I have stayed at this hotel before. I was suprised it was nicer this time than before. The only real complaint I had was the carpet really needed cleaning. My white socks were really dark brown! Staff was great and I will stay there again.

good location for sightseeing trips in hollywood and Universal. Clean and comfy room, needs a little updating from outside of the rooms but very clean. Good value for money for Hollywood

just behind hollywood. within walking. less than 5mins to kodak theatre. there's gd eateries & a supermarket nearby. location was excellent. close to highway 101 too, can get to the city area or suburd easily = )

The parking is on the ground floor under the rooms that start on the second floor. The spots are very tight and the staff parks perpendicular to the guests and blocks you in. Then the workers get upset and refuse to move their vehicles when you complain about not being able to get your car out! The internet goes out every 15min or so and you have to […] relogin in order to get back online. Very inconvenient for the business traveler. Mehr

Hotel has outside doors in scary area. Tiny rooms, minimal parking.

Our stay was great, walking distance to everything. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.Hotel is clean and staff is courteous.

Clean and comfortable rooms and staff pleasant. But did not know that all charges had been paid for through Hotels.com and so had extra charge for the 2nd room I booked. Had to go back to Hotels.com after my trip to get this rectified.

I've been in dozens of Best Westerns, and this one is the most well-kept I've seen. While being right off a busy street may be an issue for those who aren't used to city driving, the walkability was great and we hardly drove the whole weekend. My girlfriend enjoyed having a real hair dryer in the room, and I enjoyed the free WiFi.

This is an older style hotel. Good ,clean and safe. Internet slow and no breakfast.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. This is not fancy but it serves the purpose if you want a good night's sleep close to the action. The staff was friendly and the restaurant attached to the hotel was great for breakfast!

I will be staying at this hotel everytime I have to stay in Los Angeles. Excellent location, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was top notch. I was in the City because a friend was going through cancer surgery I needed a favor from the hotel and they were able to help me. From the time we check in to the moment we said good bye I felt as […] if I was at a 6 star hotel the staff was that gracious. The room was comfortable and clean. Our room smelled like an ash tray and all the tv channels are fuzzy. Also, we kept having to get new room keys because they only worked once. The people at the front desk were pretty helpful, but nothing special. On a better note, I did get the towels I asked for right after I called for them, so that was nice.
