Lobstick Lodge - Jasper

Die Familien-Suiten liegen im Untergeschoss, deshalb ist es trotz großer Fenster eher etwas dunkler. Das vordere Zimmer hat eine komplette Küche mit Minipfanne und einem Topf! Außerdem befindet sich hier ein Schlafsofa. Für den Wlan-Anschluss werden hier Gebühren berechnet. Das Hotel hat 3 Außenwhirl-Pools, 1 Innenwhirpool und einen kleinen Pool.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel und hatten ein Zimmer mit Küche. Das ganze Zimmer inkl. Kochniesche war sauber. Wir bemerkten allerdings 3 defekte im Zimmer, Nachttischlampe war nicht funktionstüchtig, 1 Herdplatte war def. und am Sofa hatte es einen Schnitt in der Polsterung. Excellent service, very friendly staff, great location great hot tubs, laundry services, everything was perfect!!!

This is a perfect economical stay for a ski vacation. Comfy bed, nice hot tubs and pool for the kids! Overall I would stay here again.

Hotel was nicely decorated, ok location, rooms were nice and big, beds were very comfy. The rooms have all the ammenties you need plus the space. Pool for the kids, a tad small but good for them and also has 3 outdoor hottubs which is a must after a day of skiing! Would definitely reccomend this hotel..

The Woman at the front desk when we checked in was SHOCKINGLY rude and very unhelpful...also provided us with the wrong directions into town....everything else about the hotel was great!

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff were wonderful! The room was a bit warm but we just opened a window and welcomed that fresh mountain air. The kitchen enabled us to prepare most of our meals ourselves. And if you're looking for a treat we highly recommend Evil Dave's!

We were down on the "first floor", which is actually the basement. It was loud as we were near the pool and there was a dog in the room next door. Fairly thin floors/walls, but was comfy. Nice large room with 2 King beds was really nice to have. Clean.

Very clean, washroom is in a brand new condition. Kitchenette was very great, here too very clean looks like new. Liked a lot the swimming pool/hot tubs all so clean. Would recomend to my friends for sure.

Dirty. Dark. Dank. No venting, was told there were supply's for 6. Maybe if you eat in shifts. Couch was old and gross, bathroom floors dirty. Staff not responsive to calls and concerns. I was told, " this is what's here". The room felt like a basement closet. Beds were hard and small. We left a day early, and we were only there for 3 total. Jasper […] is a wonderful community with lots to do, just don't do it staying in this "Lodge". Mehr

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Had a kitchenet suite lots of room for a family of five.

At the Lobstick we enjoyed welcoming and genuine staff. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room, but walked about Jasper mostly. Even though the Lobstick did not have a piano, their neighbor hotel next door is part of their hotel chain and we were encouraged to go there and ask to use it. We were welcomed there as well. We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor […] hottub and there was a nice overall atmosphere. The indoor hottub's jets were not working that evening though. This hotel is old/dated. We had to have the two beds replaced due to severe sagging. We could not use the table in the kitchenette because it was ready to completely fall apart. Two twin beds, both against the walls so two of us had to crawl to get out of bed. Floors were dirty. Will never stay here again and will definitely tell others to stay awa […] y! Mehr

We met family in Jasper for some skiing on Christmas eve and then spent Christmas morning at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was friendly. We had a room with 2 king beds that were great after a days' skiing. My brother got a kitchenette that worked great for dinner and games for the 6 of us. Only downside for him was having […] to have 2 double beds because the kitchenette took up more room space. The walk to the main downtown area was a short 4-5 blocks. I'd definitely stay again. Mehr

the room was very comfortable, the pool and hot tubs were a nice touch at the end of a ski day, especially the outside tubs. the breakfast buffet was delicious as well as a dinner we had in the restaurant one evening

One of the nicer places to stay in Jasper, however our heating in the room was not controllable and not all room service dishes were taken away when room was cleaned. The decor was nice and it would have been nice to go into the beautiful lounge, however both nights that we were there Christmas parties had this area booked. Oh well.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon traveling through jasper, and only stayed one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. Nice town and nice hotel. We were there in early November, so it was pretty quiet and hardly any tourists which was nice. It was a way better hotel in every way (even price wise) than the travelodge we stayed in the night […] before in Edmonton. highly recommended. Mehr

If you dont mind stepping back into the 70's to see what it was like, stay here. You can hear your neighbours quite clearly and the beds are just as comfortable as the floor. Save your money and try another hotel.

Ok, its not out of the world hotel. Rooms are comfy and clean. Kids enjoyed a lot as they could go to the swimming pool, sauna, gym all included. Hotel is at the one end of Jasper, which we found very far from the town centre considering the whole town finishes in 800M. Just kidding, we enjoyed every bit of our stay there. The tranquil and the silence […] is so overwhelming we are going back there next year thats for sure. Mehr

When I reserved the hotel on line, I mentioned I wanted it above grade. When I checked it, I found it was really a great room on the 3rd floor facing the mountains. The room was warm but couple fans there really solved the problem. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tubs and sauna. The hotel was ok with exception of the lack of air conditioning.

There were 5 adults in our "kitchenette" room and we were surprised with the size of the frig and stove, the newness of the cabinets and how well stocked they were with dishes. Although there wasn't air conditioning there were 2 large windows that opened, plus in the living area there were 2 fans, if needed. Having a full size table and plenty of chairs […] was so convenient. The room was very clean and our only complaint was the blanket used on the sofa bed had obvious cigarette burn holes. Otherwise we were entirely satisfied - the staff were awesome! Mehr

The Lobstick Lodge was nice and easy to find. It was clean lodge and had a nice pool area with outdoor hot tubs. An area for improvement would be to change the carpets. The carpet in my room had a hole in it and looked old, and out dated.

It was a standard hotel at a decent price. Nothing special but nothing wrong. It is at the far end of Jasper, but it is such a small town, it is an easy walk to anywhere.

Good location, good price, good enough.

The Lobstick has been a Jasper landmark for many years, and has come to show some of those years. The carpet in our room should have been changed some time ago; the stove needed servicing. That said, the room was clean and well-appointed. Amenities include a pool and four hot tubs, a restaurant (can't comment), and a good location.

The King size bed was fantastic and very comfortable as were the pillows. The bedding was soft and very clean as was the rest of the room.

Overall the hotel was nice and the room comfortable. The hotel seemed to be a tour bus stop, more than any other hotel in the area. The buses would park just outside our window and run for 1/2 hour each morning before leaving. The main pool was also very cold and two of the hot tubs jets were not working. The service was good, the cleaning staff friendly […] and same with the restaurant and coffee shop staff. If I was with a tour group and only having an overnight stay, I would recommend the Lobstick. It was convenient to everything and the downtown was a short walk away. Mehr

We had a great stay. We stayed two nights with our two small children. We were able to check-in early. Quiet neighbourhood in the heart of Jasper. The food at the restaurant was great and priced equivalent to any other restaurant in town. We ate most of our meals there. No air conditioning but we didn't need it as the days were cool. The toilet wasn't […] flushing properly when we arrived but the staff fixed the problem quickly. I would reccommend this hotel. Mehr

An older hotel but it was clean. Room was big. They have 4 hot tubs, 1 indoor and 3 outdoors. It was expensive but seems to be the market rate there.
