Let me start off by saying that I spend two to three nights in a hotel room every week so I have gotten to know what's good and what's not. When you first walk into a hotel you don't want to smell anything, period. It either smells clean or it doesn't, now I realize that clean smells different to different people. But the smell shouldn't be unpleasant. […] This place had a smell, it wasn't a clean or a dirty smell it just wasn't what you want when you're looking for a hotel. Then there is the room, it had an old t.v. not a big deal but you could tell, the bed and furniture where old style not really a deal breaker but just had the look of an older hotel. I just got the feeling of dirty when I walked in, though the room was clean. I was booked for two nights there and checked out the first thing in the morning and went to another hotel one that I'm used too. The guy behind the desk was nice enough, and you can tell that this is a family run place. I wont be staying there every again because I have grown to like certain things in a hotel. Like a gym, nice smell, fresh linens, nice showers etc.. But in a pinch I would find another place for a few dollars more. There are plenty of places in Nampa ID, that are nicer and newer. As for breakfast, I didn't have it. Didn't even see what was offered but I'm sure that it was some kind of food. But who knows. Mehr

No major complaints, but the breakfast could offer more than cold cereal and rolls. Did use the 15% discount offered at Denny's and that was great. Will try to book another reservation in a couple weeks.

I was uncomfortable. When the lady wrote my credit card number down on the top of the top of my check in paper and I have never had a motel type in my drivers license information in the computer

This is a very casual hotel, but the staff was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. You do pay for what you get and the contential breakfast consisted of cereal, milk, donuts, and juice. If you just need a place to stay for a night, great place to stay.

I thought that the people were very nice and helpful. The thing that botherd us the most was the smell, in the room, the halls and the elevator. It was like a cigarette smoke combined with an air freshener or cleaner that was intended to cover the cigarette smoke smell up or something, then when we tried to open our window for fresh air we just recieved […] more cigarette smoke from other smoking rooms coming into our window. The sheets didn't smell clean and one pillow case had mascara stains on it. The overall condition of the building was in need of alot of upkeep it was sort of ran down. The hotel personel were very nice. The room smelled, we had to buy an air freshner. The pillows need to be tossed, they were worthless. The shower curtain needed cleaned pre-mold...there were loud noisy guests slamming the doors waking us up. The breakfast was donuts, coffee, oj. Not really breakfast. It was relatively close to the Idaho Center so that […] we could attend the horse show. No phone in room to call down to the desk. It did have useable: iron, blow dryer, microwave, and refidgerator. The hotel was clean, friendly and helpfull attendant, breakfast base of donuts and other paistryes, cereal, juice and coffee. For a one or two day stay on a business trip I recommended.

The room itself was clean however the roomservice could use a lesson in making beds. They could make a big improvement in the pool area just by providing some umbrellas to provide a little shade and maybe some new plastic furniture. Oh and while your at it, clean the pool.

The hotel was clean. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was disappointing. 3/4 of the items were extremely sugary: there were donuts, cereal (1 sugary and 1 not), and juice. the motel was shown as new or near new according to picture on the internet. Thew room was dirty, we moved a lamp about ten inches, the dust and debris was still there all thru our stay. The maid cleaned the bathroom but failed to leave a bath mat, which we had to ask for.

Nice place to stay. Clean and quiet. Like most low cost motels, the pillows SUCK. Too small, lumpy and whenever you ask for another pillow, there are no extra available.

went to take a shower in the morning turned on the water to full hot waited and it never got hot. so I guessed that everone else was taking a shower that morning and left for my conference. that night came back to my room STILL no hot water. so I went down to complain about it, they went and checked the hot water was fine, we went up to my room, hot […] water worked at the sink just fine, at the tub turning it on all the way still no hot water to the shower........till it was turned to cold... then it was plenty hot........it was plumbed backwards cold was hot ... hot was cold so if you stay in ROOM 206 remember its plumbed WRONG! but I guess you get what you pay for. next time I will pay more and get more Mehr

I requested a non-smoking room cause I have allergies and cigarette smoke is one of them, when I went to the front desk to see if thier was anything that could be done i was told it was a non-smoking room and somebody must have been smoking in the hallway. The employee asked a women who looked to be the owner "which floor is your family on" the 3rd […] floor was the answer and this was the same floor I was staying on, not only could you smell cigarette smoke you could smell food that was being cooked on the same floor, I could deal with the smell of cooking food but the cigarette smoke was too much. I am not sure what the exact law for public smoking is in the state of Idaho but for a non-smoking room I had to deal with that smell all night long. I will never stay or recommend this hotel ever again. I did stay in this same hotel in Feb of 2011 and this was a very pleasent stay compared to the current status of this hotel. If I had to guess I would say this is a private owned hotel that the entire family lives in while trying to run a business at the same time, that not usally a problem but your customers need to come first considering they are the ones paying for it. Instead of running the air conditioner, the doors were proped open. The air conditioner in the room sounded like a 747 taking off. This is a "stay if nothing else is available".

Clean and quiet rooms, I was pleased that the room and halls did not smell like smoke as many 2 star hotels do. The only negatives were the terrible smell outside ( Sugar beet plant) and lumpy pillows.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in! We arrived at 11PM after a long day of driving and the front desk said the computer was down. He asked us if we could go eat somewhere and come back....at 11 at night!! Our room was supposed to be non-smoking and reeked of smoke. We went to go have "complimentary breakfast" at 6:30AM before we got back on the road. […] The breakfast was supposed to start at 6AM but all that was out was cereal with no milk and juice and coffee. stayed ther a year ago it was nice for the price but this time ac did not work the lights were so dim that turning on my cell light the room up and paide more this time and the pool was not open it shuld have been open two week earler no i will not stay there.

I was traveling with a pet and called the hotel the day before arrival to confirm my non smoking room with a king bed and inform them I wouild have the pet with me. Despite that, when I arrived at the motel the room had been given to someone else with a pet. I was moved to what might have been a smoking room from the smell, with two double beds instead […] of a king. The room was not as clean expected. It had a thick layer of dust standing in every place that was above the eyesight of anyone shorter than 5' tall. The carpet looked worn and dirty. Worst of all, the toilet had not been cleaned. The outside of the building itself looked good, but the surrounding grounds looked like they had received no care for quite some time. There were piles of limbs and weeds had overtaken the islands. The room was very clean to the naked eye, but when I woke up the next morning i seemed to have bug bites and was very itchy...I recommend instead trying the shilo inn or the super 8 if you want a motel in that area. very cheap and nice people though

Parking lot and entry way was always blocked by 4 truckloads of traveling carpetbaggers who seemed to stay up all night making noise throughout the hotel. It was actually intimidating to enter the hotel. Bed and especially pillows were very uncomfortable. Entering the room I could see dust on every surface above what a 5 ft person could reach. Shower […] was dirty and curtain had slimey stuff all over it. I just retired this week and I have to say this was the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. I am usually very laid back and understanding and don't worry about small stuff. But this place is about the most unprofessional place I have ever seen. Mehr

We ended up staying at this location for two consecutive nights. The beds were fairly comfortable and the room was clean but that is all I can say positive about this place. The walls were paper thin and I was awakened twice by noise and pounding coming for other rooms at 2:00am and 6:00am. We asked for maid service but all that was done was the dirty […] towels were picked up. The beds were left unmade and no new towels were left to replace the dirty ones. I had to ask for bath towels at the desk in order to be able to take a shower the following morning. The donuts at the breakfast counter both mornings tasted like they were "day old" donuts. Other than cold cereal that was all they had to eat. The overall grounds were in terrible condition and needed a gardener in the worst way; weeds everywhere. There was definitely no pride in ownership at this motel. I guess the price reflected the premises but I will not stay there again and would not recommend anyone else to do so either. Mehr

Front desk service was very good with a friendly staff. The room was pretty clean but the beds were too soft and uncomfortable. Located near some type of refinery plant -not too far from downtown so it was convenient, but smelly at times Overall, I'd rate this a "good" place to stay but not as good as the Fairfield Inn & Suites.

First of all, the staff here was great. They were very accommodating and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms were decent and the bed was mildly comfortable. However, the area the hotel is situated in was...stinky. There was some sort of industrial plant that spewed forth a repulsive cloud that penetrated the walls and windows of the hotels. […] Bring a gas mask if smells bother you. Mehr

Have stayed in this hotel before but will never stay there again. Stayed 4 days, and they only fully cleaned our room once. After that they only made the beds and filled the toilet paper. They didn't empty the trash, clean the sinks, or change the towels - at least once they just rehung our dirty towels. The toilet seat kept falling off, the cover for […] the heater fell off, the remote for the TV didn't work. The deodorant they used in the carpets in the hallways gave me major allergy issues. Mehr
