Wer den Bettenburgen in Playa del Carmen entfliehen will ist hier richtig. Hotelgröße ist genau richtig, die Mitarbeiter alle sehr nett und die Lage wirklich unschlagbar. In einer Minute auf der Shopping- und Ausgehmeile, ein einer Mintute am Strand... Ich war mit einer Freundin da und kann es nur empfehlen!

Das Hotel ist etwas Besonderes, da es nur kleiner Bungalows sind. sehr schön in einer Gartenlandschaft. Die Zimmer sind aber etwas abgewohnt, aber voll funktionstüchtig. Manche Bereiche der Anlage werden renoviert, was aber gar nicht stört. Was mich gestört hat, ist dass das mehr nach Schwefelwasserstoff gerochen hat und das fast nur im Hotelbereich. Die Rezeption konnte da auch nichts machen. Für einen solch hohen Preis erwarte ich mehr.

sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis,sehr schöne Zimmer,ruhige Lage, gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Zum Zentrum benötigt man ein Taxi oder Mietwagen. Zum Strand kann man laufen ca.10 min.,muss man sich aber erklären lassen( über den Golfplatz).

Das Petit Lafitte ist mehr als nur zu empfehlen. Es ist ein kleines Hotel, das familiär geführt wird. Die ganze Organisation wird von zwei Familien übernommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Angelegenheiten. Wir hatten einen Bungalow gebucht, der nur ein paar Meter vom direkt am Hotel grenzenden Strand gelegen war. Zum Einschlafen kann man das Meer rauschen hören. Dank Ventilator und Klimaanlage waren die Temperaturen kein Problem. Die Küche hat einen super Job gemacht, morgens gab es frisches Obst, Säfte, Kaffee oder Tee - und man konnte sich etwas leckeres von der Karte aussuchen. Abens gab es ein vier Gänge Menü. Das Hotel liegt ein wenig von der Trubelgegend in Playa del Carmen entfernt - man kann sich also sehr gut entspannen. Eigentlich kann ich über dieses Hotel gar nichts negatives sagen. Es war für uns einfach das Paradies.

This was a very nice resort. Small and quiet setting. The staff was very pleasant. I enjoyed myself a lot and would definitely come back again.

Clean hotel! Food was above average. Poor hotel service...chk in very slow. No reasonable ATM service(also broken). Stay next door at the AURA Grand Wyndam if you can afford it...you get the best of the best plus u can use the Sabor and Recency. The Sabor internet in the Lobby is very slow and very weak. Good for the money though...be sure not to get […] a room next to the service area...noisy all nite long....take a lot of one$s for tipping the worker...they work hard! Rooms had good AC/TV Clean with water jugs near by for clean water drinking. Also for snorkling bring your own gear unless u stay at the AURA..For Snorkling..go out the front gate go left up the road on the Hotel for about a 1-2mi...to the bare area of lava at the Seas edge...great place//enjoy Mehr

Very satisfied with our 13 night stay in January 2012. This is the best bargain we have ever had, the hotel was very comfortable and the staff very friendly and courteous. The beach itself is OK, but it is difficult getting into the water because of rocks. Once you're in, snorkeling was good with quite a variety of fish. Hotel was quite good. We were satisfied by the international and Mexican food at the buffet restaurant, proximity of the beach. Therefore, hotel needs some maintenance and renovation. Despite the general impression was good and we enjoyed the location and advantages of all inclusive meal plan.

Terrible service for an all inclusive. They ran out of red wine two days in a row and made up some excuse that didn't make sense. Ran out of guacamole and salsa two days in a row with no explanation what so ever. The waiters seemed to be there for their own amusement. They were talking spanish to each other and laughing all the time, across the restaurant […] and tables. Ok food, but we booth got stomach problems after some days, but not serious. "Great all-inclusive!"
Really good food and friendly staff! Very service minded. The hotel was clean and tidy. Every night there was a show and the beach was awesome with free snorkeling and a volleyballnet. A lot of nice fishes in the water. The only bad thing was the lack of hot water in our room.

when we got there the room they gave us was quit old and is in need of some updates. after the first night there was no hot water, staff got on it real quick as i was told there was a plumbing leak under ground. when we returned to the room later that day we found the hot water was fixed but the bathroom floor was flooded. i contacted the reception […] and they upgraded me in the sabor exclusive side for no extra money. this room was alot better and was what i was expecting when i booked the room. all the staff was very freindly and seemed to be always working. the food could have more selections but overall i would highly recomend this place to anyone as long as it is in the sabor exclusive side. The hotel looks nice, but what a mess. We had 3 rooms for our party of six and each room had real issues. A/C not working, toilets broken, water pipe broken and water pouring into the room. So many issues it makes one wonder how they can be in business.

Sabor is a huge resort and I'm sure it's very nice during the main touring season...BUT, if you book it like we did for October, 75% off the resort is closed down. The swim up bar, other bars, gift shops, restuarants...were almost all closed. It was nothing like the pictures and adverstising that we saw online when we were booking. We stayed at the Cozumel in August 2011. We had paid for a Super Saver room through hotels.com so we weren't sure what to expect. Our room was nice and even had a view of the ocean. The bathroom was not updated, but we could see that they are still doing some renovations in other suites at the hotel. The grounds were well kept and the pools were very […] clean. The food at the buffet was excellent, especially for such a small hotel. The location of the hotel is beautiful right on the ocean and you can eat every meal outside looking at the water. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service at this hotel was that of a five star hotel. We used the gym, spa, restaurants, activity equipment and bars and found all staff to be wonderful. There is everything you would need at the hotel, a gift shop, tequila store and jewelry store. You can also go into town by renting a scooter right from the hotel which we did. This hotel is great value. We would recommend this hotel to other travelers. Mehr
"Very pleasant stay"
To be honest - this time I had to be very careful about my budget, when I decided to spend some time in Cozumel / Playa Del Carmen area. I had only few choices in my price range, but despite some of the reviews I decided to stick with Sabor Cozumel. Turned out to be a fantastic choice, keeping in mind it is only a 3 star resort after all (half star […] is usually not related to the core service). Very friendly and helpfully staff, decent and tasty food (they were running special with all restaurants accessible with no extra charge). Drinks - well, sure maybe not top shelf quality liquor, but easily doing it's job keeping a good taste and not causing a killer hang over next morning. Rooms close to the pool may get a little noisy at night, as a beach bar in a immediate area is a popular place after dark - just as it suppose to and there is nothing wrong with that. I had no problem with relocation to different room after my first night. The beach - not the best one that you will ever see, but still very pleasant, clean and "swimable" with a stunning sunset view. Entertainment in the theatre would desire an extra work, but the cast seam to enjoy performing and audience was very forgiving. Originally just to be save I booked only two nights for a trial, but after checking out my other options personally, I extended may stay for the entire vacation period and was very pleased with the choice. The only down side - distance to the city and a taxi fare to get there. My advise: rent a car in the city and ask for a pick-up and a drop off. This way your car rental will be almost free (considering return taxi fare). Remember - you'll be charged for a local phone call. Maybe I would wish to see a buffet breakfast, but menu option wasn't too bad too. Internet is wireless accessible only in the maim lobby, which is not so convenient, but it is free and strong enough to have a Skype video call with a good quality. This property is very nice, close to the dive sites off the south end of the island. The inclusive hotel offer varity of resturants with excellent service and food choices. I have been to this property four time in the past five years and I will be back ... Cozumel is special!
"fine price, not a very spectacular stay"
There were mostly middle aged couples here, a good crowd who enjoyed the endless booze and maybe ten or so young couples. The beach is not all that spectacular, and the food is about what you would expect or maybe worse. The staff was pretty nice. I got bored here.

We visisted the Wyndham Cozumel on Sept. 06-12, 2009. We have been to Cozumel several times and stayed at a few different hotels. We were concerned about the Wyndham because of the reviews given by other people and as we have always learned you have to have the experience yourself to really find out for sure. We had a wonderful time, the staff was great, […] the food was great, the room was great. We did get upgraded to a suite which was even better then we could have asked for, although we did look at the regular hotel rooms and would have probably like those just as well. We dove with Sand Dollar on-site and they were great also. We will definitely visit the Wyndham again. Mehr

Очень красивый и комфортабельный отель. Здесь продумано все для удобства отдыхающих: бассейны, бары, рестораны, СПА. Очень дружелюбный т приветливый персонал. Очень вкусная и разнообразная еда. Красивый пляж, но в мере лучше заходить в специальной обуви. Единственное неудобство - добраться можно только на такси.

Dette hotel ligger langt fra butikker. Det er dog muligt at købe ture på hotellet. Det er et flot hotel og dejligt hotel. Men skal man bo der er det for en ting at ligge ved pool og strand, som er rigtigt godt. Personalet ved poolerne virker som om de ikke gider deres job. Morgenmaden var fantastisk, frokost og aftensmad ligger på 3 ud af 5 stjerner. […] Men det er nok også lidt svært at få buffet til at smage rigtigt godt. Mehr

Hotellet levde inte alls upp till våra förväntningar. Vi hade bokat ett rum i den exclusiva delen av hotellet och trodde ju då att vi skulle ha havsutsikt och den bästa utsikten men icke!!! Vårt rum låg längst från stranden och vi kunde inte ens se havet. Sen förlovade vi oss på Cozumel och önskade att få upp lite skumpa och jorgubbar. Det gick inte […] då vi endast hade bokat en natt där och man var tvungen att ha bokat minst 3 för att kunna få detta. Trots att detta hotell alltså kallas för all inclusive + att vi hade valt exclusiva delen. Så NEJ!! vi kommer inte att rekommendera detta hotell till någon! Mehr

От любого номера до пляжа очень близко, максимум 2 - 3 мин. + Отличный СПА салон. + бесплатный WF Теперь о минусах: - каменистый […] заход в море. buenos dias queria comentar sobre el hotel sabor cozumel, la verdad que nos resulto muy lindo , la atencion espectacular, lo unico es que esta lejos del centro, pero eso no es problema por que se pueden pedir taxis que los lleven, si piensan recorrer cozumel recuerden que no hay transporte publico , la unica manera es taxi. "reserve en sabor y me mandaron a otro hotel"
llegue a Sabor, el cual ya conocia y como es temporada baja estaba en remodelacion, asi qe me mandaron al Aura, que es muy parecido al sabor, pero de mejor calidad.. la pasamos muy bien, el hotel es pequeño, pero con todo para pasarla de 10 ! lo recomiendo ampliamente en todos los sentidos !!

Fint hotell i mycket bra skick. Superb service, pooler för både barn och vuxna. Rum med välfungerande aircondition. Gymmet är litet, men i jämförelse med övriga hotell vi har bott på fungerar utrustningen. Strand med möjligheter till snorkling och andra vattenaktiviteter. Barn-, ungdoms- och vuxenvänligt.
