"bad"
unpleasend stay
"100% Location"
If you want to be where the action is in Venice, it doesn't get better than this. But the noise can be of-putting because of all of the pedestrian and boat traffic outside your window. The windows are not very noise-reducing, but when open you get the full impact of the action outside your window. The hotel is a little run-down, but still charming if […] you like old hotels, and clean. Staff was brusk. If you don't get a frront room facing the the Grand Canal and Ponte Rialto, there's no sense in staying here. Mehr
"Excelente"
Excelent location, staff very polite, breakfast very good. The room has a good size and clean. I intend to host again in my next time in Venice.
"A must stay in Venice"
Modern ammendities with old world appeal. The hotel is in a fantastic location, restaurants, shopping, sites, and on the main canal. Great place to start and end a day.
"Fantastic place to stay in Venice"
We were overjoyed when we arrived at the Hotel Rialto in Venice. The best possible position within 50 feet of the Rialto Bridge. It doesn't get any better. From the time we walked through the front door, the staff were superb. Polite, friendly and efficient. The could not have been more helpful. Hotel Rialto will be our choice again next time we return […] to this magic city. It's just beautiful. Mehr
"Hotel Rialto stay away"
It is considered a 4 star hotel but is truly a 1 star. Walls were covered in cloth which had more dust then you can imagine. The entire hotel needs to be remodeled if they want to be considered a 4 star or even a three. The location is fabulous but wouldn't stay there again.

"Rude & Uncomfortable"
Long story short: An atrocious encounter with a surly concierge ruined the stay. Great location, awful room. This hotel is probably one of the easiest to find in the entire city. Signs point to Rialto everywhere you go, and if you're at all nervous about getting lost, finding a hotel in this neighborhood would be a good decision. Our room was #308, […] but was on the sixth floor, with no elevator access. Venice is a very bad place to be if you can't climb stairs, and our room at the Hotel Rialto was a constant reminder of that. This was especially inconvenient for my wife who was 5 months pregnant at the time. At check in, the concierge shouted to the baggage handler: "Expedia.com!", as if to say "second class guest". Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Lots of choices, great coffee, and dangerously good chocolate croissants. Now the worst part: In trying to take a phone call discretely, I accidentally opened an emergency exit door. The concierge ran up to me screaming accusations of my stupidity and carelessness. Apologies were not enough to calm this guy's fervor. His behavior was inexcusably rude, and soured my opinion of the establishment as a whole. Minutes later, I overheard him arguing with a guest who was checking out in an equally impolite tone, which gave me confidence that it was not just me. Bed was stiff as a board. Mehr
"2 Day Stay"
Nice hotel, and the location is the best! I will say tho that the bed was very uncomfortable & the pillows were extremely hard. We had a dbl room with canal & Rialto Bridge view & The outside noise lasted till 3 am.
"Hotel Rialto"
great location. Had a room without a view and it was a bit of a dungeon and very daggy decor but who goes to Venice to sit in their room? Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. expensive like everything else in venice though.
"Hotel Rialto in Venice"
Venice rooms are very old and very expensive. We were originally given a tiny room that had a 3foot square bathroom . The shower was a drain in the floor with a curtain. You couldn't shower and have another person in the bathroom. Don't order the standard room! We complained and were moved the second day. I got 4 bug bites on my face from the pests […] in the room as well. Basically most of Venice is in some stage of dry rot. We won't be go ing back. Mehr
"Location, location, location"
Old hotel for the price, but you can't be the location.

Hotel Rialto was perfectly located for a short trip to Venice. The waterbus stop was virtually outside the door making arrival with suitcases on public transport completely stress-free. The rooms were not palatial but very adequate with some nice authentic features. Our room did not have a view but there was a terrace overlooking the Grand Canal and […] Rialto Bridge. Staff spoke English well and were very helpful. All in all, very good value for money given the location. Would definitely recommend the 1,2 or 3 day vaporetto pass which was great value for money. Discount for children with proof of age. Mehr
The room was beautifully appointed, but lacked space for clothing. There was only one electrical outlet which was very inconvenient when traveling with a PC, rechargeable camera, etc. The location was excellent with a superb view of the Rialto Bridge.
"Hotel Rialto at Venice"
Hotel is situated at excellent location. The room decoration is very Venetian and warm. Staff are very friendly. However, breakfast variety can be improved.

"In the heart of Venice"
If you want to be in the center of everything, stay here. The staff was very flexible when we requested to move rooms (as the first one was so small, no view, closet size bathroom) and offered us the top floor with balcony and view of the Rialto Bridge. Breakfast was ok and all one needed to be free. Old hotel in general with old furniture, baths, etc. […] Very clean though for the price. The worst pillows ever though. I would do it again if needed and would recommend, just realize what you are getting. Mehr

"Hotel Rialto--Great location"
This is a great location for getting to and from the airport. It take about 45 minutes to an hour. It is also a great location for getting around Venice. You can walk to St. Marks in about 5-10 minutes. The Academia is about a 15 minute walk. The Cannaregio area is a little longer of a walk, but still not more than 15-20 minutes. The staff was friendly. […] The rooms were small, but not by Venice standards. I had a Grand Canal view and that was very scenic--but, it can be realitvely noisy too. It was worth it though. The only downside is that there was no business center (but maybe that is a good thing). Mehr
Small room. Not very clean. Access to room was terrible. Had to carry bags up and down 2 flights of stairs. Wifi never worked. Wifi cost is 10 Euros a day. The most expensive I experienced. Breakfast was marginal.

"Hotel Rialto, Venice Italy"
Great location, good room. Easy and fun water taxi ride from central train station. Best way to get around is water taxi which gets costly. Room opens up to grand canal and Rialto Bridge. Room was comfortable, no in-room internet, only in lobby or sitting room. Nice complimentary breakfast. overall good hotel experience.
I did not expect that we stayed this hotel behind the building and need to go quite higher step on 1st floor although the porter help bring baggage and still inconvenence for up and down.
"Great location - snooty staff - creepy room"
The Hotel Rialto is right next to the Rialto bridge - a wonderful location to stay in Venice. This is where the positivity ends. Our room was attic-like and stuffy - dark and dingy - and was up several flights (5 or 6 - we lost count) of stairs. We politely requested a room change and were met with a very rude response and nothing was done. In addition, […] please don't expect a delicious breakfast spread. Although all staff were not ill-mannered, the general vibe from the employees oozed arrogance. Next visit to Venice, I'll walk a few extra steps for some brightness and a few extra pleasantries. Mehr
"We had a wonderful stay..."
We stayed in a standard room, which was a little small, but very clean. Staff was very friendly, and registration desk staff spoke English very well. Easy access from the alley, but a bit away from the main lobby. Morning breakfast was fine (cereals, yogurt, fruit, meats and cheeses). Location was perfect for us. We couldn't get lost :o) because it's […] right by the Rialto Bridge and the water bus stop. The actual location is a little hectic outside, but quiet once you get inside. Easy walking distance to San Marco/Doges Palace. We would definitely stay here again. Mehr
"Hotel Rialto Venice Italy"
The hotel has a great location by the Rialto Bridge, but the sidewalks can be quite congested at times. The hotel staff was excellent. The only down side to this hotel is that there were 83 stairs to our room. The elevator did not go to our rooms and the stairs at the top were very narrow.
"Rialto Hotel"
No view, but great location to walk everywhere from

"Needs improvement"
Location was PERFECT. Some updating needed as well as a more staff! We asked for wine glasses that were never delivered, waiting too long for assistance at times, and had a face made when I asked for assistance on the computer. Good breakfast served. I would stay again because of the location! I would like to think the problems were due to understa […] ffing! Mehr
"Expensive for what you get"
The hotel location is the main advantage. Breakfast was average. Room is old and bathroom is small. Quite clean. Given the location, it made it easy to go between tourist sites.
"Good location poor facilities"
The location was really central and perfect for access to the water bus. But the facilities were not what i was expecting for a 4 star hotel. Be wary 4 star is what the local Venice area call rate their hotels, better to use the HTI rating. There were no working power sockets in the room for charging.

"Rialto Hotel - Glimrende beliggenhet"

Mehr
"Reception"
Aldrig oplevevet en så kvalificeret reception. Vidende, engagerent, oplysende, i overskud. Ro og overblik - intet spørgsmål for lille og intet for stort - klasse.
"Flott sentralt beliggende hotel"

"Hotell Rialto - sentralt i Venezia"
Hyggelig betjening.
