Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig in Bahnhofsnähe, dennoch ruhig. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Service an der Rezeption war sehr gut. Aber: Es gab einige Mängel hinsichtlich der Sauberkeit unseres Zimmers, die vermutlich nicht alle dem täglichen Reinigungsteam anzulasten sind. Z.B. war der Bettrahmen verschmutzt. Hinter […] dem TV-Gerät befand sich dichter Staub. Beim Beiseiteschieben eines Sessels wurde auf dem Fußboden ein weißes Haarbüschel sichtbar, was zu entfernen dann doch wohl Aufgabe der täglichen Reinigungskraft gewesen wäre. Möglicherweise sind die Abstände der Generalreinigung zu groß. Trotz dieser Einwendungen ist für uns der Gesamteindruck des Hotels überwiegend positiv. Mehr

Das Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza ist aufgrund seiner sehr zentralen Lagen absolut empfehlenswert. 5 Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt und abends ist man schnell in den begeherten Kneipen dieser tollen Stadt. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles, was man für ein gutes Frühstück braucht. Der Service ist gut. In der Lobby gibt es drei Computer mit high-speed […] Internetzugang, an welchen sogar ein Drucker angeschlossen ist. Dieses ist natürlich toll, wenn man sich vor dem Rückflug schonmal die Tickets ausdrucken möchte. Die Zimmer verfügen über Flachbildschirme und Minibar. Die Fenster lassen sich leider nicht öffnen, aber die Klimaanlage kühlt auch recht ordentlich. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen! Mehr

Das Hotel Radisson blue Plaza liegt sehr zentral in Gehdistanz zum eigentichen Stadtzentrum. Es ist ruhig gelegen und für eine Städtereise auch im Sommer bestens geeignet.

Neben Haupt- und Busbahnhof (Flughafenbus!) gelegen bietet das Hotel eine super Ausgangsbasis für einen Kurzaufenthalt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war in unserem Fall super, und die Zufriedenheitsinitiative des Hauses scheint nicht nur ein Marketinggag zu sein. Einziges kleines Manko: die lahme Leitung der (kostenlosen) Internet-PC's.

Essen ist ja immer sehr wichtig - neben allen anderen Vorzügen wie sehr guter Lage, Sauberkeit etc., die sicherlich an anderer Stelle schon ausführlich beschrieben wurden - sei also hier vor allem das sehr gute Frühstücksbuffet erwähnt, was wirklich kaum Wünsche offen gelassen hat. Das Radisson Blue ist ein sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel mit einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is only 3-4 minutes walk from Helsinki Central Station where the airport bus has its final stop. Perfect location. Walking distance to 'everything', and tram and metro stops close by. The hotel building is fairly old, but still very high room standard, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely one of the better ones. The receptionist […] staff were also very helpful. Great hotel straight next to railway station. Parking is a problem, be sure to check availebility before leaving home.

the hotel is in a good location, very close to the train station and the shopping areas. staff are very helpful and the breakfast selection was very good. the only negatives i have are the decor in the room being a bit dated and the bathroom had a smell of drains which was a bit over whelming. we had the superior room and i think the only extra you […] get is the free movie channels. there is free wi-fi in all the rooms. overall a good hotel but i would probably stay at the GLO instead which is a lot more modern and the deluxe room is much bigger. The hotel is great! The room is big and clean. Also, the location is convenient!

I celebrated my birthday at the Hotel. We've been leaving in Helsinki for 2 years and it's our first time to try this hotel. We are not disappointed! Love the room and my requests were accommodated. From the floor level, to the bathtub request, the early check and the late check-out! Just too bad, my booking was not credited on my bonus card.. will […] know better next time. Happy New Year! I was very disappointed with the Radisson Blu Plaza in Helsinki. I have stayed at the Radisson Blu at Zurich Airport which was really nice and guests from our company stay often at the Radisson Blu in St. Gallen which is also good. The rooms at the Plaza in Helsinki were very dark and depressing with not enough light. They are in desperate need of renovation, […] although the bathroom was OK. I felt so bad in the room that I could not sleep for either of the two nights I stayed. I will not stay there again. Mehr

Perfect location in mid Helsinki, 3 mins to the railway station, 5 mins to airport bus. Was surprised at the level of service, had room service, they knew to the minute when food would arrive. No problem with delayed checkout, we could keep the room until 14, but suppose it depends on availability. Really nice breakfast buffet, they make you latte if […] you want and serve it to the table etc. Got upgraded to superior room with HUGE kingsize bed which we made good use of. ;) Gym is small but functional, didnt try the sauna though. Nice hotel and excellent service.

A very good choice if you want to visit Helsinki. Location in the middle of the city centre, excellent communications. The room on the third floor was really quiet although a main road of Helsinki was below. Good 4 star breakfast. One complaint only, something I saw was confusing for other guests also: When you enter the breakfast room it is really […] easy to misunderstand and end up believing that there is no tables free and available. The reason for this is that there are coffeecups on the table, one for each chair, with spoons inside them. The idea is probably to make it look cosy but it ends up looking like a used table. Room was quite small.

I must admit that I was rather disappointed with this hotel. It took ages for staff on reception to answer the phone and on many occasions they did not answer at all. The room was a bit pokey and the high speed Internet access was actually quite slow. The breakfast area was not as organized as expected.

The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is a great hotel, wonderfully located. Everything in central Helsinki is easily within walking distance. Excellent, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and a truly wonderful breakfast selection. Would highly recommend to anyone for their stay - either short or long - in Helsinki.

while we had no complaints about the food, location or cleanliness of the hotel we certainly felt that the front office staff could be friendlier and definately better informed about tourist requirements. we were misguided on two occasions when we asked for directions - something that is not expected of a hotel of this standard.

Pleasant stay at a very good price- value for money. Good location & friendly staff.

We had a triple room at this hotel for four nights we received exceptional service. Although the third bed was a camp bed, it was comfortable. The only complaint I would have would be that the air con was less than effective and also quite loud (a particular problem as you cannot open windows in the rooms). My friend, who is a big fan of all things carbohydrate, took great delight at the 'bread station' which offered a huge selection each day. The staff here are wonderful and cannot be faulted. The only odd thing is that we weren't asked how our stay was when we checked out, even though we were served by the 'service manager'. We felt a little rushed at check out and thus didn't get to provide this positive feedback at the time. Location wise, anywhere in Helsinki is central, to be honest, but you can't go wrong with this hotel. Slap bang next door to the train station, and just a few minutes walk to anywhere of interest. The best location in helsinki..walking distance to all major attractions..room was clean and the breakfast was the best I have seen in a hotel..lots of variety..nice staff..had no problems at all..will definitely recommend

I stayed in this hotel with my sister for a family wedding. We were very pleased with the facilities and the friendly staff. The location is excellent for exploring the city and for setting out for trips outside the city as it's so close to the main transport hub.

The Radisson Plaza was very convenient for the rail traveller, just a block from the station, and is equally convenient to the tourist sights Downtown. A great hotel.

The hotel was very good other than that we asked for a triple room and the third bed was a very poor camp bed style which was very uncomfortable. If we had known we would have booked two rooms.

The journey from the airport on the 615 Bus route took only 40 minutes. The hotel is very well situated, being quite near the terminus for buses and trains to the city. It is adjacent to one of the city’s large squares is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the main shopping area and the many tram routes that run past the main station. There are a large […] number of bars and faux pubs in the vicinity, as well as restaurants of all kinds. A friend saw a review of the hotel which suggested it was tired and worn. Though I could detect some sign of this, it was not obvious. My room was modern and comfortable, though I found the bed a little soft. The en-suite facilities were very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient and all spoke English. Breakfast consisted of a buffet of the usual cereal, cold selections and cooked breakfast. The hotel has a sauna (separate for men and women), which is available at no extra charge to guests. Towels are provided. The city has a number of local markets and we walked to the one at Kauppatori ‎ on Saturday from the hotel (about 20 minutes stroll). A number of stalls were selling fish fresh from the many boats there. Other stalls sold local woollen articles and the produce of crafts. We had a very pleasant stay, particularly as the location was perfect for getting around both on foot and by public transport. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Mehr

This is a very nice hotel. One block from the rail station, which is the area of the Finnair bus station also. Great breakfast in a beautiful dining room. An older hotel and more of a classic construction. A couple of blocks to downtown.

The location of this hotel is great, nice rooms. Near the train and bus terminals for easy access to anywhere including the airport.

We had to book unexpectedly at the "last minute" and selected this hotel primarily by cost. The room was very nice as was the entire hotel. Staff very helpful too. Biggest plus was the huge breakfast buffet....endless selections! Our only disappointment was that the surrounding shops closed at 6p on Saturday, so there was not much to do within walking […] distance with exception of restaurants. This hotel is just off the big city square in front of the rail station but it is on a corner of a dead end street and very quiet. The location is fantastic! We walked to the harbor and all the main sites. The staff was very helpful with maps, good time estimates to get to places, and always smiling. Breakfast was beyond terrific and the dining area […] wonderful! Helsinki is expensive and this was a great deal. Mehr

The Radisson Blu is conveniently located near the Central Rail Station, Visitor's Center and sightseeing tours. Their buffet breakfast is one of the best. I'd recommend the Blu to everyone.

We were very happy with our hotel choice. It is the first time I had stayed at the Radisson Hotel and found it very comfortable. The bed and pillows were extremely soft and I slept well. The bathroom was large and modern. I would recommend it to anyone. The hotel was a 4 star and I found the price very reasonable.
