Habe 2 Sterne gebucht und zwei Sterne bekommen. War alles zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit. Dass das Hotel an einer viel befahrenen Strasse liegt wusste ich vorher. Der oder besser die Pools waren sauber und beheizt. Habe sie täglich genutzt. voll eingerichtete Küche ist bei 8 Tagen aufenthalt sehr wertvoll.

Das Motel hatte einen Familiencharakter. Die Zimmer waren nicht neu aber doch gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche war sehr nützlich. Auch die Anlage war hübsch. Nur die Sauberkeit hätte etwas besser sein können. Am Sonntag fehlte der Zimmerservice ganz.

Gut sind Service und Lage. Es ist ständig jemand ansprechbar gewesen, Wünsche (z.B. zusätzliche Handtücher) wurden sofort erledigt. Den Strand erreicht man in weniger als 2 Minuten zu Fuß. Nette Bars/Cafes bzw. Restaurants sowie ein 7eleven sind ebenfalls schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Man sieht allerdings, dass die Anlage schon ein paar Jahre alt ist. […] Die beiden Pools sind auch nicht gerade groß und schon etwas abgenutzt. Die Zimmer haben teilweise Türen, die einen Glaseinsatz mit Jalousie haben. Wirklich blickdicht oder sogar lichtdicht bekommt man die Tür damit nicht. Unser Zimmer (Nr. 108?) hatte außerdem einen riesigen (ebenfalls etwas älteren) Kühlschrank, der allerdings auch entsprechend laut war. Das stört in der Nacht schon ein wenig. Überzeugt hat uns letzlich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das war absolut angemessen. Mehr

Das Hotel befindet sich in guter Lage ca. 5 Min. Fussdistanz vom Strand entfernt. Hotel und Zimmer sind sauber. Die Zimmereinrichtungen (z.B. Badezimmer, Mobiliar) sind sehr alt; die Abschliessvorrichtung am Zimmer äusserst dürftig und wenig Sicherheit vermittelnd. Die Betreuung ist nett. Great place to stay close to Lauderdale by the Sea. The room was older but clean and the kitchen was very well supplied. I would stay for a week sometime.

I stayed here while on a business trip and it was a great choice. It's most definitely on the older side (dated sheets, decor, bathroom), but the room had everything you could want/need including a full fridge... just older. haha It's close to the beach (like 3-4 minute walk) and I didn't have a car, so I also took the bus which was a few minutes away […] as well. There are also some great eats, convenience stores, and rental cars within walking distance. Mehr

I spent one night there. Old and outdated...a/c did not work. Blinds were broke. Paper thin walls, Door to the outside was ready to fall in. Not a very safe feeling. Many people outside partying. Paid too much, not worth it, One good thing...it is close to pier and night life. Notice all of the good reviews in foreign language?

Unit is a fire trap in waiting, 1 extention cord to run the fridge, microwave, television and on top of this this cord had the ground cut off. There was another electrical outlet beside the fridge but is was not working.

Great location in walking distance to restaurants, shopping. Best fluffy towels!! Hotel is dated, but in a kitschy sort of way and staff is super nice and helpful. Although it's on the main road, it was quieter than I expected and nice and peaceful by the pool.

Only issue is that it is right in the main street -- but w/ air conditioning on-- no street noise heard & our room had a cool balcony & the owner/ managers told us the best restaurants & even what to order that totally made up for the location -- which incredibly close to beach & restaurants -- & is extremely reasonable.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay at the Paradise by the Sea - it is an excellent hotel for the price - and the location is perfect! The beds are extremely uncomfortable, however, and and the walls are thin - we had to have the air conditioning running just for the white noise to drown out the people in the rooms next to us. Our room was a little tired but this was more than compensated by friendly & helpful staff & owners. Nothing was too much, even allowed us to use their computor to check in & print boarding passes for our return flight home. Felt safe in surrounding area & was in easy walking distance to some top knotch eateries. A good value place to stay and relax […] close to the beach. Mehr

A Clean and Nicely Furnished Motel. The Beds are Comfy, the Rooms are Good Sized and very Clean! The Location is convenient both to the Beach and to Commercial Boulevard(where all the activity is in Lauderdale by the Sea! The Owners live on the property and are wonderfully accomodating. The staff was nice and the room was clean. However, this is an older (1940's???) hotel that is run down and in poor repair. It is far from being a paradise. It is close to the beach. If I go back to this area again, I will pay more money to stay in a better motel.

We stayed at Paradise By The Sea from November 18 to the 21st. Check-in was quick and easy. Our stay was quite enjoyable. The room was fairly spacious, clean and comfortable. We found it to be a great value. We will be staying there again the next time we visit Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.

I am very satisfied with this hotel great location every thing needed is close by walking distance (all the cool little gift shops are very close by)who doesn't love to walk in a nice sunny day ;0) My reservation things were complicated but they were able to short everything out for me even if I did not make reservations directly with them. Am really happy and so is my family a got the room with 2 beds and a kitchen I have a 17month old and it's very nice because she has room to play around it not that small it a good size hotel room. Quaint little place. Very convenient. Able to walk to beach and shopping area.

This hotel was very nice and the room was huge also it was just around the block to the beach.

Very nice for the money. Family atmosphere and within walking distance to the town.

It is conveniently located by the beach. It is clean and small. Our room was suppose to be non smoke but yet, it did smell like someone had been smoking in there. The price is good and overall it is a decent place to stay at, just dont expect too much.

We were totally amazed with this hotel. 1 Block off the beach, close to restaurants and shopping, right on the local transportation service for the area. The local pier just 2 blocks away, we ate at the Village Grille, good food with live entertainment on the night we visited. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I was only going to stay a couple of days in Lauderdale en route to see my friend in the Keys, but once I got there I liked it so much at Paradise by the Sea that I invited y friend to come up for the weekend. Even she was thoroughly impressed as a long-time resident of south Florida. Another friend from Boca came down who was also impressed. If you're […] one who needs a luxury hotel, it might not be the place. It's older and more quaint, but clean, well maintained, comfortable and owners & housekeeping very friendly & accomodating. I loved it and will be going back. My friend from the keys says she will be using it as her getaway place. By the way...it is a short walk to a beautiful beach & all the shops! Mehr

Great location just off the beach hotel looks a little tired but rooms are clean and well maintained ,beach equipment can be borrowed making it just like home. For a Brit its a real American Motel

It is a decent low budget hotel. Nice helpful owner. Old building, nice pool. We had a big room with a small kitchen. Beds not the best but we slept ok. The best thing was the short walking distance to the beach.

For very little money, this mom and pop mini-resort caters to couples and families with professionalism and attentiveness. I stayed in a "studio apartment" with a king size bed, and it had a nice separate kitchen and dining table along with a dressing area with plenty of hangers on both sides, and the bed was comfortable. This is a small two-story hotel, not directly on the beach but on the beach side of A1A with good beach access. Not luxurious at all, but clean and very reasonably priced; good for a weekend away or an inexpensive beach vacation. These small hotels used to be very common along the coast in South FL but so many have now been torn down. Negatives: although we could not hear road noise in the room (solid concrete walls), I would not want to spend much time poolside because of the traffic noise from A1A. The staff and owners of Paradise by the Sea are outstanding people. My wife and I truly enjoyed our vacation there. I would recommend this establishment to any and all who are visiting that area. Clean and mostly comfy, my sister and I stayed there for a few days and were OK with the accomodations. The sheets are clean and the baths are clean and the AC worked really well. We were close to everything we were interested in so it was all good. The courtyard is cute and has a nice clean pool. Lots of trees & flowers and gekkos. I liked it.

This hotel is less expensive than others in the general area and for good reason. If you're vacationing in the Ft. Lauderdale area on the cheap, this is one way to go. But don't expect much. Old school, 50's style place. We had to ask for a different room because the "kitchenette" in the first room was a total joke. A microwave and refrigerator sandwiched […] into a standard hotel room. The second room we got was better, but the maid service was terrible. We didn't have enough lightbulbs. We asked for them and did not get them. Sand got tracked into the room, so I asked the maid to be sure to sweep and she never did. I'm not sure she even came to the room every day! It was close to the beach, that's the best thing you can say for it, but the beach itself wasn't great. Next time I will pay more for a better hotel and just stay a shorter time. I do HIGHLY recommend eating at Pa DeGennero's Italian restaurant, within walking distance of this crummy hotel. DELICIOUS! Mehr

It's old but it's well maintained. The room had a kitchenette anl a full size fridge. Close to the beach. The staff is very kind and helpfull. Wireless internet is working perfectly. Two nice yards with a pool each and lots of table, chairs, umbrellas and sunbeds. We will stay there again!!!

We were extremely happy with this hotel. The room was large with a kitchen. The pullout sofa is not full-size though. The pool was beautiful and very warm. The place is located about a block from the beach. It's about two or three blocks from the downtown restaurants and shops in lauderdale by the sea. The hotel was a great value for the price. Very clean. Extremely convenient to the beach (just a short walk and no busy roadway to cross to access the beach). Our room had a full refrigerator, microwave, toaster and dishes. The staff was extremely personable and friendly. Mysigt hotell. Äldre men charmig ganska litet. Rent på rummet (ingen heltäckningsmatta) och i poolen. Inget lyxhotell men vi (familj med barn 11 och 8 år) trivdes riktigt bra. Letar man ett lungt, mindre hotell så passar detta bra men var inställd på att det är gammalt.
