Reception Staff were lovely. Food area in lobby was very slow service and disorganised. We sat for 10 minutes at a dirty table full of plates, cups etc and no one came to clean it up and that was after I went up and got menus so they knew we wanted food. Shower water temp[erature was not the best...medium first day, next day, only cold...ask them to check the water but it tooks 2 dyas to make it warm.....then no pressure and really hot water...too hot..burning. Across the board can't fault it. Rooms very comfortable, on site parking, good breakfast at a fair rate even if it isn't included in the room and decent location, only a 15 min easy walk to city centre. "Take ear plugs!"
Pluses were: It's very conveniently placed for Queens University and the Botanical Gardens. There are many very nice restaurants, cafes and pubs. It is also just a fifteen minute walk to the American Consulate which is useful to know. The welcome was adequate, very speedy. Our first room was OK- a little on the tired side, but very clean. However, […] the trouble began when we tried to have a shower in the evening. The hot water was scalding - dangerously so, really, and the cold water was a mere dribble in the tub, and non existent in the shower. I contacted Reception who said they would send someone to fix it whilst we were out having a meal. I returned at 2145 to my room, where I found water gushing from the tap into the tub. I couldn't turn it off, so went back to Reception. The man behind the desk was offhand. 'You'll have to move', said he. I was given the keys to a room on the second floor. This proved to be very noisy, and, since we had an early start the next day, back I went to Reception. The same man was unhelpful, to say the least. ' This is a city centre Hotel. The police say it will be quieter after midnight (!). If I get a cancellation I'll move you,' said he. This being 2200 by this time, I didn't think this likely. As expected, I hardly slept at all and felt somewhat less than perky for my early morning appointment. Thank you Wellington Park Hotel. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

I found my stay very pleasant but found my bed very uncomfortable. Also the bed itself which at first glance appeared to be a double bed was in fact two single beds pushed together and was awkward if i wanted to sleep in the middle as I usually do. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. First impressions count and it is always a good start to be greeted in a friendly manner by the reception staff. Good location and nice lobby/bar area with good food and friendly service but the rooms let this hotel down. The room I was in was dreadful. Stale shower curtain, public toilet style toilet roll dispenser which was hanging off the wall. Tired and worn furniture. "clean and comfortable but could do with updating"
Good location but decor very outdated. Food was averag and disappointed that the lovely restaurant was only used for breakfast and not opened for evening meals. Fire alarms went off both mornings at 8am which was annoying. Overall can't complain as hotel rate was very competitive when booked.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

Our room in the Wellington Pk Hotel was ok but very hot, we could open the window just a little but did not realise how hot it was until the early hours of a.m. The shower just sprayed everywhere except on you, the location was good and we only stayed 1 night. The Wellington Park hotel was a good, solid choice. The rom was well appointed and clean (apart from a bit of the "black fungus" in the bathroom). WiFi was free. Breakfast was good - some nice touches such as strawberries in February. Staf dealt with a problem I had very well (left my mobile phone in the room) and called my office before I left the […] hotel to make sure I got it back. Overall I would use it again.
