The hotel was nice, the beds were comortable and the braeakfast was good. The hotell-staff were helpfull. Over all a good place to stay. The only thing is you have to be prepared to take a taxi or a bus to go to the city centre because of the location.

I would go back there. Wasn't bad at all.

Highly recommend this hotel, young girl at Reception named Mania was very kind. Mania took the time to explain how to use the Rome buses instead of using taxis. When she realized that we were leaving early in the morning, she had a paper bag breakfast waiting for us to take to the airport.

We arrived at hotel from airport in 30 minutes. Outside center so taxi is by meter not flat rate. It was only a few euro more than center. If you don't mind walking, the location is not bad. It is 2km from center by walking, but roads can be confusing. There is a bus only 1 block away can walk it in the time it takes to wait for it. As far as facilities, […] the hotel is nice. Nice decor and mostly updated. Small elevator like most in Europe. Room was very nice with large bathroom and balcony with table and chairs. Roll shutters are electric and keep room cool and secure in summer. Bed were good as was AC. Breakfast area was a little cramped, but food was very good and they had several options for "grab and go" so you could snacks with you for the day. Service and staff were very good. Every request I had was quickly addressed and we received very accurate information also. I sent out laundry twice and both times it was on time with good quality. I would stay here again without reservation. Rates are definitely better than center and quality if service and hotel were very good. Only downside was it is a bit of a walk to the center... but we didn't end up minding that too much. Mehr

The hotel looks exactly like on the pictures of the hotels.com website, but is a nit smaller than seems on the pictures. The room was great, very nice, had chairs and a small table on a balcony with good view over the neighborhood (the room was on 4th floor). The neighbourhood is pretty quiet, not hard to reach with the public transport (bus nr 52 […] comes straight from the city center pretty much next to the hotel) and from Termini station catch a metro, then change to a train and have a walk of 10 minutes. We walked to the city center every day through Villa Borghese park which was great green part of the city as well. Might be a bit far from the city center to those who´d like the hotel to be exactly next to main sights as Volosseum etc and don´t like to walk. The only negative aspect: the closted was a bit dusty inside. Overall would definitely recommend to visit the Best Western Hotel Rivoli. Mehr

We found this hotel typical of a older city and the room smaller than in our country,but still very clean and comfortable.The air conditioning is not to our North American standards, but acceptable.Location is fine,just get directions.A city with a great history. The hotel staff are really nice, nothing is too much trouble! The location is OK, but not great.. you can't really walk into the city from the hotel, but bus no 52 goes from right outside, stops at Bernini (one of the Metro stations) and terminates in the city close to the Trevi Fountain. The trip takes a maximum 20 minutes. The room was nice and the […] beds are quite comfortable - the pillows were quite hard and fairly flat, but I believe this is just a European thing! Breakfast is buffet style, with something for everyone from breakfast cake, yoghurt and fresh fruit to a cooked breakfast. One word of warning though, the scrambled egg was coated in oil and really not very nice to be honest! Mehr

I was very displeased with my visit to the Best Western Rivoli. The staff was very nice and helpful but the room was not nice at all. It was very small and air conditioning Didn't work at all. Needless to say it was a no blanket sweating kind of night. Also the hotel looked nothing like it in photos online.

The hotel is ok but definitely not a 4 star equivalent to the UK. Although its only a couple of kilometres outside the main attratctions, there is a lots of walking whilst sightseeing so would recommend getting a location closer to the city centre. This hotel wasn't bad, per se, but the location was not central to the metro system or the airport. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but the rooms needed vacuuming. The shower had no curtain or wall or door whatsoever, so we could not take showers without soaking the bathroom floor. Breakfast was complimentary and had the usual selection. My husband and I stayed in the hotel for one night to tour Rome. The staff was friendly and helped answer our questions. They provided information on nearby monuments and transportation. The hotel and room were very clean and quiet. The only downfall was the bathroom which was very small and the shower didn't work so great. Other than that the hotel […] was very comfortable. just a little to far from centre but there is a bus stop next to the hotel or u can take taxi for about 15 euro. not far to nice park borghese. room was clean and tidy. I would recommended

Positives: nice appearance inside, friendly and helpful staff, some newly refurbished rooms, cheaper than city centre, free wifi. Negatives: older rooms look worn out and air con not effective, breakfast not great (although seems to be free), almost no non-feather pillows. The hotel looks much better in the pictures than in real life, but was still good. The free internet and breakfast was a selling point, unfortunately the internet was not very reliable, but worked about 60% of the time. Some people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, but others could not care less. I probably would not stay again as […] there was nothing close to the hotel. It is in the middle of a residential area, and there were no bars, restaurants, or food places near the hotel. On google maps it appears as though there is a Metro station near the hotel (Euclide), but this is actually a Tram stop and not the regular Metro, and the hotel staff advised it was difficult to use this. We came in after a long travel, and this was on a day that Rome had 40-45 degree heat outside, and as we came to the room we noticed the heating was on set at 30 (!). Not only this, but turning on the aircondition made us realise this didnt work either. After complaining at the reception they told us they would check it, the next day we had the same […] problem. They then shifted us to another room w/ AC. That was the first thing. The second thing in our first room was that the shower was leaking through the plastic cover and stone flooring, which forced us to remove litres of water from the floor with towels. Last but not least, the roman statues that are seen on the hotel photographs, well they did not seem that impressive being there... in fact, they are small and you hardly notice them. Mehr

Vi bodde på hotellet tors-sön. Det var ett mycket fint hotell. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, jättegod frukostbuffe som hela tiden fylldes på, var aldrig några tomma fat. Rummet såg ut precis som på bilderna, fräscht och fint. Vi fick ett rum med stor fin balkong. Det enda negativa var att det låg en bit ifrån närmaste tunnelbana.

Op de site stond bij dineren gratis warm en koud buffet. Bij aankomst blijkt dat er helemaal geen diner wordt geserveerd. Als we dit van te voren hadden geweten waren we waarschijnlijk voor een ander hotel gegaan dat meer in het centrum had gelegen. Gelukkig stopt bus 52 voor de deur. Ontbijt is niet erg smakelijk behalve de toetjes. Kamers zijn klein […] maar absoluut schoon. Alleen erg vervelend dat het water van de douche constant van warm naar koud veranderde en andersom. Goede en vriendelijke bediening. De dame aan de receptie heeft ons uitstekend geholpen met al onze vragen. Mehr

Vi var tre i ett rum på Best Western Hotel Rivoli i Rom... Vi var mycket nöjda, frukosten var ganska god, personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma... Behövde vi information vad gäller vägar, bussar och tunnelbana, så var främst receptionisten (tjejen) till hjälp dock alla andra var lika bra... Vi trivdes otroligt mycket och skulle definitivt boka detta hotell […] vid återbesök i Rom... enda nackdelen är avståndet från centrum, men även där tar man buss 52 som åker ända till Barberini och då är det inga problem... Excelente hotel... Bastante familiar e acolhedor no entanto fica um pouco distanciado do centro da Cidade e com poucas acessibilidades. Pequeno almoço muito pouco variado.

Hotel esta bem localizado, porem numa região mais tranqüila, está perto dos pontos turísticos, pra quem gosta de caminhar vale a pena fazer o percurso a pé, com o mapa é super facíl andar em Roma, alem de vc economizar vc terá uma bela vista da redondeza. Caso queira andar de taxi não vai gastar muito (lembrando que é euro). O quarto tem total conforto, […] limpeza ótima e café da manha excelente. Recomendo a todos! Mehr

Dejligt hotel hvis eneste minuser er, at det ligger for langt fra centrum i Rom, og den eneste buslinie fra hotellet er linie 52, som kun kører hver 30. min.

Litet trevligt hotell med gångavstånd (30 min) genom Villa Borghese till Spanska Trappan. Några riktigt bra restauranger i närheten av hotellet.

Όμορφο το ξενοδοχείο και τα δωμάτια του, βρίσκεται σε μια ήσυχη περιοχή της Ρώμης, ακριβώς δίπλα από το Πάρκο Μποργκέζε (αξίζει!!!). Κάθε μέρα καθαρίζονταν τα δωμάτια και το προσωπικό ήταν ιδιαίτερα ευγενικό. Αλλαγή δωματίου γίνεται εύκολα, αρκεί να υπάρχει διαθέσιμο. Για να πας στο κέντρο περνάει λεωφορείο μέχρι τις 12.00 το βράδυ, το οποίο κάνει 10 […] λεπτά να σε πάει. Μετά τις 12.00 θα χρειαστείτε ταξί. Αυτό είναι και το μεγάλο "πλην" του ξενοδοχείου, αφού ένα πιο κεντρικό ξενοδοχείο σε γλιτώνει από αρκετά επιπλέον έξοδα και δεν σε περιορίζει. Γενικά όμως θα το συνιστούσα. Mehr

I VISITED THE HOTEL WITH MY FAMILY FOR 5 DAYS. THE ROOM WAS UNDER THE LEVEL OF THE LOBBY (MAIN ENTRANCE) WITH A WINDOW. I ASKED FOR ANOTHER ROOM AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER.

la climatisation ne fonctionne pas. devant l'impossibilité de le réparer et me donner une nouvelle chambre, l'hotel m'a fourni un ventilateur. a signaler que le climateur est hors d'age ce qui explique le problème connu de la direction

Location was pretty good near the city center, about 10 min. bus ride. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very nice but the air conditioning was poor. Free internet connection, but it did not work in the room though.

Stayed three nights together with my daughter while visiting World Cup in Swimming att Foro Italico. Nice and clean rooms with AC, balcony and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was rather poor but ok for italian standard. I can recommend this hotel for a few nights, it is a good bargain!

Ok hotel - langt fra resturanter, handel, S-transport og seværdigheder. Taxa er effektiv til nogenlunde ok priser. (Dog kan taxature føles voldsomme med den itailenske mentalitet in mente)
