Nearly brand new, superb big rooms, excellent breakfast. Service is reasonable and above average. The condition of the hotel and location are unbelievably good. Walk to many many upscale restaurants at the River mall.

This hotel was fine, our room was a bit small, king-size bed, but not alot of roominess. The continental breakfast area of the hotel was way too small, each morning it was very crowded and not enough tables to accomodate everyone. One of the mornings we had breakfast there and it was the only morning that I had the eggs and within an hour of eating, […] I was deathly sick - I think it was food poisoning from the eggs, my husband did not have them, and he was fine. Needed a place to stay during the tennis tournament for just one night and had to head out early the next morning. Your location was close to the matches and right on our way back to LA. We especially appreciated the ample complimentary breakfast buffet, which helped us keep our tight schedule.

A great hotel, but in the room we stayed there was some minor repairs needed in the bathroom. A few of the floor tiles were loose and were missing grout. And the counter-top support panel looked like it was an after-thought. Other than that the rest of the room was nice. I would stay there again.

We accidentally left an elephant in the room on Thursday night n hoped to have it returned on Sunday, no such luck.

couldnt be a better location, just off 111, its quick access to all the things Rancho Mirage has to offer. wasnt thrilled that I got the room right across from the laundry, as we had to maneuver around service carts all day, and felt I could hear the neighbor's showers and flushing a little more than I wanted..at 530 in the am....the pipes would bang. […] Its a small thing but if you are looking for silence, bring some ear plugs. My second issue was the television. Thrilled that they had a lovely flat screen in the room, not thrilled that the grainy reception seemed to come in thru an antenna and was most definitely not Hi Def . ESPN was on the channel guide and was supposed to come in, but never did, an irritation for sports nuts like us. The free Breakfast was terrific, and a nice selection of hot and cold items. Because it was January and cooler than normal, we never visited the pool or spa..never even SAW it because we were on the side of the hotel opposite of those amenities. The room was acceptably clean. I would only say this, and I qualify this statement because I am a clean freak: the bathroom sinks are undermounted sinks with granite counters: they could clean the sinks around the undermount better. When I sat on the toilet and looked at the sink, I could see the under side (that the maid probably never sees)..ick I would stay here again should the occasion arise. Not perfect but acceptable. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Having the mall directly across the street within walking distance was nice. The rooms were clean with ample room for up to 4 adults.

Very pleased. Great time away. Close to everything to just relax. Xlnt breakfast each morning with hot items including scrambled eggs, ham, sausage. Very pleased and will stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The beds were not comfortable at all, way too soft. So, I did not get a good nights rest, nor did my grand daughter. The room was difficult to get the right temperature, so we were hot all night.

Hotel was nice overall good price... Do not left them assign room 131, it's right next to the kitchen area too loud early !

This hotel is highly recommended. they offer a free breakfast buffet each day and it is quality!

Standard format for Holiday Inn Express facility. Room was clean, adequate size, in good condition. Perfectly satisfactory for overnight stay. Along major thoroughfare, but quiet.

This hotel is an excellent moderately priced hotel for Rancho Mirage and Agua Caliente Casino. The staff were cordial. The complimentary breakfast was ok. Wish there had been a light over the couch in the room. Could hear people above tromping around their room early in morning. In all, we would stay again and was good value for the money.

We had a party in the room next to us which got us up at 12:30am. Sean took care of in less than a wink. Thank you. We then ended up with a good nights sleep. Most places would have just blown us off. We so appreciate this fast action!

We were very pleased with everything, although we were here to visit family and didn't have time to enjoy the heated swimming pool or have the included breakfast because we had breakfast at a cousin's home.

I travel quite a bit and often times the Holiday Inn Express hotels are a good value in decent locations, nice size rooms that are clean and comfortable. UNfortunately that was not the case in this situation. We were put into a handicap room that for a handicap room seemed incrediably tight. The shower was extremely low and non adjustable to a standard […] height. There were holes in the back side of the bathroom door. Will not return there again. Mehr

I have never been dissapointed at a HIEx. The staff was quick, efficient and knowledgable about the area and made wonderful recommendations. The area was quiet and the A/C was super quiet and worked perfectly, which was mandatory with the 104 degree weather.

Very clean, very comfortable and nice staff. The breakfast was good and the price was great for what you got!

Very good hotel, clean and 20 min from downtown palm springs. The staff was nice, the rooms are very confortable and wifi and parking are free. Located at walking distance from shops and top-rated restaurants. Go without hesitation if you are looking for a good place to sleep.

Except the pool (too small) everything was greatttt!!!

My family and I went to visit my wife's mother who lives in Cathedral City but whose place is too small to accomodate the 4 of us. We were only staying for one night as it was Memorial Day weekend and we'd be arriving on a Sunday and leaving the next day. I checked around on hotels.com and came across this Holiday Inn Express which thankfully wasn't […] far from her place. After a 2 hour drive we arrived in the area around noon and spent some time with her. Around 4:00 we decided to go over and check in to the hotel and return after we'd dropped off our bags and checked the room and facilities out; my youngest son wanted to stay with grandma though. Well, 2 hours later my youngest texted my wife to find out where we were at and she responded that we were heading back back shortly. What had happened was that the three of us had kicked off our shoes, turned on the AC and were enjoying the extremely comfortable beds and chairs while doing a little light reading and watching a little tv. The room was EXTREMELY clean and very nicely decorated. I was a little leery as some of the reviews mentioned thin walls but we had no noise disruption from our neighbors except for some young children running up and down the hallway around 8:30 in the morning, we'd been awake since 7:30 so this was no big deal. As we met up with my wife's mother for breakfast I couldn't comment on the free breakfast they had available but the eating area adjacent to the lobby was pretty packed with other guests and no one appeared to be complaining. All in all a great place to stay for a short stay and possibly even an extended one. The rate was fantastic too! Mehr

We had book our room weeks in advance knowing it was Memorial Weekend. When first arriving at our room we were very surprised and impressed with the location of the room, our view and how nice the room was. The staff was very friendly. Shopping, movies theater, dinning, all in walking distance. Wish our stay was longer.

Only able to stay two nights but it was well worth it. The bed was, oh so, comfortable and loved the pillows. The room had everything we needed, refrigerator, microwave, TV, coffee maker and the breakfast provided was excellent. Loved the biscuits and gravy. Did not have the pancakes but they smelled wonderful. I can not wait to go back again.

I was there to attend The Big 4 Fest and this hotel is located center of the fwy and The Empire Polo Fields about 15 min each direction. I got very little traffic from the hotel to the fields while other people got stuck in alot of traffic from other locations...there are also an Apple Bees right next door and a Mimi's across the street along with a […] good number of restraunts at very close walking distance. Reasonably priced room. Walking distance to a mall, restaurants, bars and movie theater. Polite, friendly and hospitable staff. Hotel staff mistakenly woke me up once, but no problem, it was already morning. Room has microwave, ironing board and two large lcd tvs! Hotel provides a washing machine with dryer. The hotel is easily accessible although the […] name in the GPS device is still the old name:Country Inn Suites. Complimentary breakfast is okay but fare is the same everyday.
