Best Western Plus Roehampton Hotel & Suites - Toronto

The hotel was much better than Best Westerns in US. Free wi-fi (high speed, not crawling), complimentary breakfast. The staff was nice. Very satisfied.

Can't beat the price in T.O. for a nice clean hotel. Friendly, helpful staff!

I had business for one day in the northern part of Toronto near Yonge street and this hotel was convenient by subway both from downtown station and then further north to worksite. The hotel was perfectly adequate for the price. I didn't eat in the hotel, because I arrived after 8 p.m. and it was closing at 9:00. It looked ordinary - perhaps better suited […] to a quick buffet breakfast; but I skipped it in the morning as well and ate closer to my work location. The room was clean and quiet, and check-in was friendly. For dinner there were adequate pubs and restaurants in walking distance in a safe neighborhood. Mehr

This was a deal breaker for me. I felt like I had no blankets at all because they were so thin and light. Not cozy and warm. I went to look for an extra blanket...but none in the room. So I was cold all night. Yes, I did turn up the heat, but it still felt uncozy. The other issue I had was......Housekeeping knocking on my door at 9 a.m. I didn't have […] to wake up until 10 a.m. so I was frustrated with this. Then the front desk told me that I should have put up the do not Disturb sign on my door.....Wish I knew this the night before. She said it was standard for them to be knocking on everyones door that early in the morning. Mehr

The hotel was in a good location, close to the subway and also many restaurants. Staff was friendly and they had a nice a simple buffet breakfast.

We were extremely surprised with how comfortable the beds were. Instead of the thin, cheap blankets normally found in hotels, we had warm duvets. The room was very spacious and clean. Only downside what that the bathroom as extremely small.

The hotel is very tired and needs updating. The location is awesome. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Easy drive to 401. Great staff!! They are very helpful. If they updated the hotel it would be the perfect uptown location.

WE had a very comfortable room. The front staff was very good.

Great location and a great nights sleep had at this hotel. Bathroom is very small, and no brand name tea's or coffee's. Go elsewhere for your cup of Joe, or, caffine fix.

hotel is a little rundown. Not in tip-top condition. Not a great deal for value.

This hotel was clean and the rooms smelled fresh. The beds were comfortable and very fresh. I would give this hotel a 10.

Excellent service. Clean room. Low-key establishment. Had business nearby, so location was excellent for my needs. Would recommend highly.

This is a good hotel and is on the bus route and close to the subway so you can get to downtown Toronto easily. Staff are friendly and the price was reasonable. One of the rare hotels that can offer smoking rooms too.

We enjoyed our stay very much. If we are to come to Toronto again in that area we would defintely stay at your hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms and the valet parking was excellent.

I love this hotel because it's easy to walk to all sorts of places: restaurants stores yoga/gym bar/pub movie theatre

Clean, well located. For constant travellers has a laundry on site. That is a real plus! Many good restaurants within easy walking distance.

The room was good however the air conditioning was not working. It was quite noisy having to sleep with the window open. Other than that it was good.

Queen sized bed was very uncomfortaable

So the location is great, but the hotel itself is an old building. My room was fine, but the bathroom was not good. The paint on the bottom of the door was chipped the molding on the tiles giving way, etc. The door opens to like a inch of so of the toilet - so it's a tight fit and awkward layout. Then the toilet paper was weird and crunchy like it […] had been wet - it stuck together. When I washed my face I could not get hot water. Now I know that using hot water at 8am is 'peak' time - but if it was a cold shower, I would have yelled at the front desk - not acceptable. So as I'm washing my face in lukewarm water and realize that the faucet is leaking - from where you turn it on - going all over the counter. No matter what I did, this happened. Then, I watched as the water slowly made its way to the edge and then dripped onto the toilet paper roll - aha! That is why the toilet paper seemed like it had gotten wet: because it did! So overall - the bathroom was unfortunate and brought down the appeal of the room and hotel. Mehr

I obsessed about reading reviews of all hotels, in the end this had the best location for my needs. I was scared about the bed bug epidemic in Toronto, happy to say no evidence of any. Room was small, but it had everything, including a fridge that I needed. During the night I was intimidated to go out by myself, but in daylight it was fine. I wished […] room service was available for longer time at night, I was just getting back to my room and it was closed. They need to do more maintenance in rooms, sloppy caulking in bathroom. Cleaning staff very friendly and always at work. Lots of hot water. Nice to have laundry facilities. Mehr

I had an overall good experience at the hotel. I chosed it because it was the only hote that was closed to my business need, therefore it was convenient

Never having been in that area of Toronto before I was very leary of where we were staying. Being a single mom and taking a child with me makes you think twice about the area you are staying in. I felt safe and secure when I arrived. Plenty of lights near and on the hotel property. Double locks on the door and nothing strange in the hallways. The beds […] were soft and clean. The bathrooms could use more elbow grease when they are being cleaned but sufficient. The drapery was dark, enough so when the morning sun came up it was still dusk in the room, which was great after a whole day of walking. Because I did not need my car for the three days we were going to be in Toronto, the hotel put my car in the enclosed parking garage across the street. The day we were scheduled to leave I woke up, looked out my window, which was facing the parking lot, and my car had already been brought out and placed in a spot for me ready to go. We wanted to take one last walk around the area so the woman at the front desk said it was fine if I left my car in the parking lot until we returned. That was a nice added bonus. NO additional parking fees. We did not go to the buffet breakfast at the on-site restaurant so I can not comment on the food. I can tell you with all the different places to eat in the area the cost of the on-site breakfast was quite high. Giving the guests pastry, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee would be a big plus for this hotel. I would stay at this hotel again, with or without my child. Mehr

The staff was rude - seemed to be money-grabbing. Service in restaurant was non-existent and it closed early (about 9) which also meant no room service. Front desk wanted cash deposit for incidentals - never heard of that. And the valet parking guy lied to me that parking was free. There was a party in the hallway outside my room from about 2 to 4 am […] - the Front Desk did not answer their phone. Just as I was to call the police the party goers settled down. There was something disgusting and greasy on the floor of my room which I stepped in. Must have a rental car because very inconvenient. Mehr

Very good, quiet; helpful, friendly and professional staff, the metro is quite near. We were very satisfied.

La réservation pour 3 personnes... il manque des produits de base (shampoing. lotion pour le corps conditionneur) Très décu de ce manque de délicatesse. C'Est le b a ba du service hotellier. Un hotel âgé revampé par une déco intéressante. Pour pallier à son probleme de stationnement on utilise le service d'un valet qui court sans arrêt!!! Le service […] au restaurant est impécable et le menu est intéressant et abordable. La piscine extérieure est tres bien entretenue et les appareils d exercices sont variés. Mehr

EL hotel esta muy bien ubicado, esta a 5 minutos de la estacion del metro Eglinton, y tiene una parada de bus en la esquina, ademas tiene muchos sitios de comida al rededor. En referencia a la habitacion, es bastante comodo y limpia, y el servicio en general fue muy bueno.

L'hotel est situe en dehors du centre ville, on peut neanmoins facilement y aller en metro (10-15min de marche jusqu a la station). Personel tres agreable et serviable, petit dejeuner excellent, serveur tres chaleureux. Il faut compter une dizaine de dollars pour le parking.

Fint hotel - havde ikke forventet det store. Hotellet er en smule slidt, men fejler ellers ikke noget. Kan anbefales!
