This HI Express is hard to get too. Access is from a side street, and the main street is full of detours as major road maintenance is done. They charge for parking but they have a hot breakfast and free interent in the lobby. We wanted a King bed, but had to put up with a double. This hotel is situated in front of a big cimetery,and I think the hotel location also was a cimetery .

This hotel is situated next to a cemetery. However, the location is a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre. I highly recommend the Mint Room across the hotel, as the Indian fusion courses are delicious. close enough to walk into centre of Bath. rooms were clean all staff were very friendly and helpful. The best bit was being able to park in the carpark on the day we checked out until 4pm

We had a good stay. Staff was friendly and the room was quiet and tidy. Lovely breakfast buffet and only 10 min walk to central Bath.

If you like a comfy matress don't stay here. They have the cheapest lumpy beds you can imagine.

nice hotel but far away from everything. it is NOT a 10 minute walk. will need to take either the bus or an expensive taxi

We had a one night stay in October and wished we had longer. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was good, this hotel offers very good value for money. It's a bit of a walk into town but taxis are available.

some what like a Premier Inn but definately better than a Travelodge. Only a 15 minute steady flat walk to the city centre. ample parking outside although there is a small charge per day. clean rooms with normal facilities. free wifi in reception area and additional tea coffee etc, ice machine in lobby. We travelled with a 7 month old and felt the unlimited […] access to a microwave in reception was a plus point. A big plus was air condioning in the rooms. This was a good hotel. Though breakfast was below average. An easy 10-15 min walk to the city centre, along the way it had a below average feel to it. Though it was perfectly safe, we never felt uncomfortable, I just wasn't expecting the feel of it. At the Hotel they give you a parking permit but you do need to pay for this one. My only complaint was that the bed was a little hard. The room was quite clean. Hotel was on the fringe of town, and the path to get into town was a little unsavory, but I never felt unsafe. Staff was delightful. Definitely would recommend to others.

Great, basic hotel which is only a short cab ride to the centre of town. Rooms were very clean, bed comfy and a lovely breakfast in the morning.

It's about a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Was very welcoming and staff were all nice, and room was basic, but very clean and comfortable and worth the price. Overall, VERY VERY happy.

Overall the Hotel was fine, the staff were all very friendly and happy to help and there was never a shortage of them. The room was perfectly adiquate for the price we paid. we had two children under 7 and two dogs too. The sofa bed was a little hard where the fold was but it was nicely made up and did the job. The room was hot (although it was a rainly dull day outside) and the air conditioning was too loud to sleep as was the noise of the main road outside. so I didn't sleep a single wink! my husband got a couple of uncomfortable hours but the children slept o.k and so did the dogs! The corridor kept out alot of noise and so the room was peaceful (despite a wedding party staying) Breakfast was basic but perfectly good and tasty and the tables were cleared and cleaned quickly and nicely. again the staff were helpful and friendly. enjoyed our stay, but the breakfast wasnt all that very muddly and not much selection (NO BACON!!!!) also was absolutely disgusted we had to pay for PARKING!!!! never heard of such a thing, different if you are not staying at the hotel, but a bit of an insult to your guests i thought. other than this cannot fault the hotel the room was spotless and […] very nice. so averall quite good just sort the breakfast and parking out and would come again and recommend it. thank- you. The hotel staff was very helpful, especially for being so busy. The room, a family room, was a little on the small side but in line with other family rooms in the UK. The complimentary breakfast was extremely busy with people from different backgrounds behaving as is applicable for them; chaos in a busy environment. Brilliant from start to finish, car park, hotel reception, room immaculate small but addequate and very clean. Was 3 adults with double bed and sofa bed so a little cramped for walking around but perfect for sleeping and bathroom spotless. Went to breakfast early 6.30 which was great and selection good. Short walk to downtown bath was given directions […] and map at reception and brilliant recommendation for evening meal. Overall it fitted all our requirements while in bath. Mehr

Fantastic enthusiasm for Bath from staff even when checking in at 23.00 hrs, A town plan provided and a first class walking tour proposed,and all this by a trainee. Arguably the best budget Hotel I have ever stayed in.

Holiday Inn Express Bath is a great value. Easy walk to the center of Bath and from the railway station a short trip on the 8 or 10 bus. Clean and predictable.

Got allocated a room on the ground floor at the front ofthe hotel which meant disturbance from inconsiderate drunk smokers for most of the night who do not know how to control their volume. Other than that mishap the room was clean and comfortable and good value when booked in advance. Can't complain about breakfast because it's free but don't expect […] gormet, it's basic. Mehr

The hotel is a ten minute walk into Bath if your happy with walking. The hotel was clean and pleasant enough with all the usual facilities, ie tea, coffee making in room and also in foyer. However there was only very small clothes storage. The TV in the room was very small and there was no fridge in the room. The breakfast was dissapointing. You have […] to pay £4.50 per day to park your car when there is sufficient parking on site. And I thought the Hotel was over priced. The prices may be in keeping with Bath centre but the hotel is on the outskirts. Mehr

This hotel is a great value. The location makes it easy to walk to Central Bath and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

Large sized room.

We rented a room for 2 adults, 2 children. It was laughably small for 4. Otherwise not bad. Bath is a great city. Good location for motel, easy to find.

Very nice hotel and close to everything, good breakfast and staff pleasant and helpful. Only disappointmnet was the bed for our 3rd adult was almost a camp style bed and not at all comfortable

The hotel was what you would expect from a Holiday Inn, reasonably priced and white basic accommodation. Rooms were ok but quite small for 4 of us. Shower wasn't the best as the shower head kept moving against the wall so you had to have shower at an awkward angle. Breakfast was very cramped and not much selection. The location of the hotel is great […] though, with only a 10 minute walk into Bath although you do have to pay extra for parking. Compared to most hotels in bath this was reasonable and we would return if staying in Bath again. Mehr
