I was happy with what this hotel offered. Room was a bit out dated but it was clean and comfortable and everything worked well (TV, Radio, Heating & Cooling and hot water)

Pool was FREEZING, kids couldn't even enjoy!!! The first morning we were there on our way to breakfast they asked us if we were checking out and then when we were leaving hotel to go somewhere they asked the samething!!! Not very welcoming!!!! I thought it was a little rude!!! Both mornings for breakfast my food that was suppose to be hot was COLD! […] !! Mehr

We arrived to discover that the hotel was overbooked and several parties were waiting for rooms. We were fortunate in that we only needed one nigth and were able to go across the street to the Baymont. I will be comparing prices and requesting a refund of the difference in prices. I will not be using Hotels.com again.

The staff was rude and gave me a hard time about my room. I paid for a suite i even called the hotel themselves to ask if their suites have a hot tub they said yes so when i booked my king suite smoking through hotels.com i thought i would be getting a room with a hot tub. but i didn't at first the front desk rep only wanted to give me a regular king […] room unless i paid more, then i had to call hotel.com right there in the looby to try and get this worked out they finally gave me my room; i then left the hotel to go eat cause it was getting late, i haven't checked my room until after i got back from dinner, the room didn't look like a suite at all didn't have no hot tub i went back down to the looby but they didnt want to help me anymore unless i gave them more money. there was stains on the towels and the room smelled like spoiled food. it was nasty i was very upset and dissapointed. The bathroom shower curtain was falling. Hot tub was dirty and windows halfway worked..

Nice stay at this hotel... a litte hard to find but not difficult. Great breakfast and work out room but a little disappointed that the indoor pool isnt heated. Water was way too cold to swim in. Overall , a nice place to stay.

Someone before me had smashed a bug on the wall, and the remnants were still there. The carpets in the halls and my room needed cleaning. The breakfast was powdered eggs. The room needed more light. That being said, the bed was very comfortable - I slept well.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although this location showed it's age (very worn carpet, chips in the paint/wall paper), it was still very comfortable, and a good value for the rate. The free breakfast at this location was outstanding. We will stay here again on our next trip to Columbus, Ohio.

Went down for the Ohio St. Game when we pulled in we were approached by a bum I gave him four dollars then he went in the hotel and took napkins oranges and a drink and walked out. My girlfriend wanted to take a shower before we left but all the towels in the room were already used and laying on the ground also there was tp all over the toilet. I went […] down to get towels and to tell the person at the desk but she could barely speak English and she gave me hand towels. After the game we came back and wanted to relax in the Jacuzzi but the jets didn't work. Indoor pool heater was broken so one could not swim water too cold. The sheets had holes in them. The bedspread had a burn hole in it..when you moved the mattress from the box spring to check for bed bugs it was filthy, The carpeting was dirty with significant stains.

Wish the had fruit and whiped cream for the homemade belgian waffles. Very, very nice room and staff will most likely stay again.

We were visiting someone at OSU and decided to stay at this hotel. When we arrived area was alittle uncertain about.... hotel was nice and room very nice.... We got to our floor it smelt like smoke... We were told before hand that the floor use to be a smoking floor. Breakfast was ok. on Saturday. Sunday's breakfast was much better..Sunday morning Check […] out isn't till 12 noon but, at 9:30am we had a knock on the door from housekeeping. Checking to see if we had checked out yet. When I told the front desk at checkout he just looked at me... When we were in the elevator going down to check out there was cigarette butts all over the floor. Mehr

It was hard to get past the smell of body odor in the lobby, but luckily the room itself did not smell the same. This hotel is fine for a night, but I wouldn't plan to spend any extended amount of time here.

We had a very enjoyable stay the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and the fresh baked cookies were great only improvement would be installing a dollar bill changer

I booked a group to stay here and when we arrived our rooms were on different floors but the hotel staff was kind enough to change the reservations so we could be closer, The breakfast was fabulous! The selection was nice with cold and hot food. The location is good too, it is short easy walk to a grocery store and many fast food. Even a family dollar […] store nearby. We were a little dissappointed the hot tub was no longer available and one of the rooms had an ant nest in the heater (not really the hotels fault.. it happens) Over all the place was was very comfortable! I really enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of everything at all times, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, waffles and other usuals. I was very impressed. Stay was very comfortable and front greeted us everytime we walked in no matter how many times we went in and out.

The cleaning staff missed cleaning items in room. Did not have type of room that was promised with reservation.

Nice stay except they advertised a hot tub and it was walled off completely! and the pool was very cold even for August. Close to lots of things but just under the underpass was a pretty bad neighbor hood. good for the price and friendly staff although the maids didn't speak any english. We had to be moved once because the air didn't work in our room […] and the next room had a lot of water on the carpet infront of the air conditioning. I think they need some maintainence attention. But overall we had a good two day stay. Mehr

Motel was fairly clean. Hallways had bleach spots on carpets and no air conditioning, it was hot while waiting on elevator. The breakfast was just okay, fake eggs and cold sausages. They advertised a whirlpool and did not have one. When I asked about it, they said that it had been vandalized by people in the surrounding area. The door had a keycard […] lock, so I don't know how vandalism was possible. Overall it was just so-so. Mehr

Had to switch rooms because they booked the wrong room. Was told to cancel hotels.com reservation and rebook so I did and what do you know I got charged for both bookings not just the 2nd one. I was guaranteed my money back and got absolutely nothing back. Guy was tired because he had to work a double that night and was just telling me what I wanted […] to hear I think. I would never stay here again which is a shame bc its not bad priced for what you get. Thanks for nothing!! Mehr

The hotel staff was pleasant and friendly. The breakfast buffet was a hit with my kids. Only negative was that there was a lady outside asking for money..this made us feel a bit uncomfortable.

We have stayed at many Country Inn and Suites and this is not up to par. Checking in was extremely slow. Had to call for help from another Country Inn and Suites location. The hotel needs updating in many areas including the pool. The maid personnel does not understand or speak English. I don't think I would stay or recommend this hotel.

for the price it was a nice hotel. we stayed 2 nights and were very happy. the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had at many other hotels we have stayed at. it does have a indoor pool somewhat on the smaller side but does the job. the pool pump was broke the first night we got in, but they did fix it the next day and that was great! the room […] was nice and on the larger side. the only thing i found that could have been better was the carpets in the room were in need of being cleaned. over all a nice stay and would stay again. This hotel was in need of a makeover. Carpet needs replacing, new paint is needed and the hotel needs many updates. Hot tub was not in commission...they had it boarded up.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Polaris Fashion center. It was very clean and the staff were all very pleasant. I would not suggest swimming in the pool unless you like very cold water. Additionally, the breakfast was very good. I would definately stay at this location again.

The first room we checked into was filthy and the sheets had huge holes in them. We asked for another room and they gave us a handicap room. The shelf in the shower was broken off and setting along side of the shower. The hole place was rundown and filthy. Will never stay there again!!!!!!!

Everything about this hotel was very pleasant,from the reception to our departure.The room was well maintained and very clean.My expectations were more than met.I plan to stay at this hotel whenever possible.Also,the breakfast was excellent.TRM

I chose this hotel because of its location. It is close to Polaris and other attractions that we planned to visit during our trip. I booked a king suite but was put in a king standard. The room and its furnishings were a bit worn. Not super clean but not really dirty either. I wasn't afraid to sleep in the bed. Very average and I feel I overpaid.

We arrived early and the staff was very helpful in finding a room that was already clean so we could check in. Our room was VERY clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. My only complaint would be that the pool was FREEZING. The kids wouldn't even get in and they will usualy swim in anyting. When we went to the desk to tell them, […] they came right in, and adjusted something but it didn't help with the short time we were down there. I would definately stay here again. Mehr

Cheap stay. Hotel is in need of upgrades. Ice machines on two floors were broken, Pool was ice cold, room was out dated. Staff was very nice.

The staff was extremely efficient, friendly & nice! The breakfast was what we expected & met our needs. In our room, the bedding was clean & bedspreads were new. The bathrooms need updating & the hairdryer did not work. They need to clean behind & under the furniture & nightstands. The hallway & stair carpet needs replacing (dirty & stained). The pool […] was not heated & was too cold for my grandchildren to use which was a huge disappointment! We would not stay there again & would not recomment it to anyone. Mehr

I have stayed at this hotel many, many times and I have always liked it. My last trip left a lot to be desired. I have two major complaints. First during my three night stay, the water was warm the first day. The second day it was almost lukewarm, not comfortable but not miserable. The third day the water was ice cold at 7:30 am. My second complaint […] was the bedding. There was a sheet and a comforter. The comforter was way too heavy. Even with the room cool I was roasting under it and it had a very heavy and uncomfortable feel. It was uncomfortable enough that I found it difficult to sleep. Any other complaints are minor. things like the toaster in the breakfast room. Both sides of the toaster only toast one side of the bread with the other side broken. That was not a big deal to me, This has been one of my favorite hotels in Columbus. I have probably spent 50 nights there over the years and I will stay there again, However if my next stay is not better I might shop for a new place to stay, Mehr

The hotel is a little hard to get to so pay attention to the directions. The Hot Tub is broken but they upgraded our room to compensate. The bed was wonderful. The hotel is kind of close to the freeway so if you mind road noise make sure you stay on the other side of the hotel from the freeway. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I was in a hurry to leave on checkout day because I had to get to an OSU football game. In my haste I forgot a pair of shoes. Upon my arrival at home in Cincinnati on the next morning I called the Inn to see if they had my shoes. They said they did not. There is no doubt that I left the shoes in the room and that someone found them It was my fault for […] being in a hurry but honesty from staff and employees would be a nice characteristic. I have stayed at this unit before but I seriously doubt that I will return. Mehr
