We stay here at least once of year when we come to town on business. I love the comfort of the nice linens, big bed and I really enjoy the main street for shopping. I think there are even more shops and restaurants this year than last. We've been there during the winter and it's enchanting. With that said, you must realize that this is an historic hotel. […] The bathrooms (marble) are tiny (at least the ones we've had) and there is a small closet. The ac/heating is not always comfortable. We like a cooler room for sleeping and we had to open the window during the evening for the afternoon heat to cool. I don't remember being cold in the winter. I took a really small fan that helped. I'd definitely recommend this old town charm for romantics like us! Mehr

This was a fantastic hotel. Staff was absolutely wonderful. They shuttled where we needed to go. Beautifully restored. Walking distance to restaurants

There were a few surprises - room was cold and heater would not work. Charging for parking ($5.00 per day) was another surprise. There was no mention of this charge in the information provided.

What a great old hotel. The Sunday brunch was very well done. Nice location, great food and bars in the walking area. If you are looking to have a look back to the old days and imagine yourself back in time this is the place for you. Piano music in the Lobby. Great Bar. Great Helpful staff. The floor boards creek under the carpet, old style bath tubs, […] and heavy wooden doors that gives this place its charm. Rooms are medium size. Parking is under cover. The Hotel Bethlehem in Bethlehem, PA was very nice and the Sunday brunch is fabulous. We attended a wedding and the presentation was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Great redo of a classic old hotel. Modern conveniences and retaining the charm. Only quibble is that hotel walls are a little thin.

We had a comfortable stay at this historic hotel. They upgraded us for free to a king room which wasn't huge, but comfortable enough. Be sure to check out the Sunday brunch- we have been a few times, totally fantastic with a buffet with everything you could ask for, live music, and a great setting. Usually need reservations a couple days in advance. […] The hotel location itself is on a street with tons of local shops and restaurants so you can walk to them. The hotel was very nice, however there was some maintenance issues associated with age. Overall the hotel had a great eclectic feel with good service and great location.

The hotel is in the center of the activities and very convenient to access the Musikfest venues. Very helpful staff throughout the hotel.

Our room was relatively small,but well-appointed.Perfect location for Musikfest.Staff at registration couldn,t have been more welcoming.Having directions in advance would have helped us to get to the hotel given that Main Street was closed due to the Festival-but a call to the Desk pretty much resolved that problem[Get on New St.and take it to Church […] St.].The parking lot is conveniently located behind the hotel. Historic downtown Bethlehem, PA is a wonderful place full of Moravian history. Hotel Bethlehem is right in the middle of everything with lots of interesting historic places to visit, unique places to shop, and tasty places to eat -- all within very close walking distance. We stayed three nights as we toured the area. The hotel is as grand now as it was in the 1920 as the area's greatest new hotel. Loved it.

We stayed Saturday night at this historic hotel and enjoyed the Sunday brunch the next morning. There was a street fair of sorts - musicians and craft vendors -- going on, which made our stay just that much more enjoyable. The food at brunch was wonderful, but the service personnel seemed to be brand new at their jobs and not very coordinated with […] other staff. I had a great time at this historic hotel. There were so many weddings going on and yet it wasn't that hectic. The only complaint that I had was that our bathroom door didn't close all the way. One of the elevators seemed to have a mind of it's own. Some times it took us past our floor 3 times before we got to our floor, we never knew when or if we […] would get to it. Parking was great, the shuttle from the airport to the hotel was great and the driver was hysterical, the surrounding area was unlike anything I've ever seen before. I loved it! Mehr

We really enjoyed our stay. We choose this hotel because our niece was getting married in Bethlehem with the reception at the hotel. Being from out of town we did not know what hotel to choose but this seemed to be the logical choice. It was lovely. I would love to go back.

this hotel is just good enough the room was very very small and the bed was hard we couldnt sleep the air conditioner didnt get cold enough so we were hot we didnt stay the extra night.

Hotel was excellent, nice and clean couldn't have been better.

Hotel was located in a great shopping area and could just walk out the hotel door to the shops.

Historic, elegant, and europe caliber food! I had business to do at Lehigh and decided to book this to bring the lady with me. From outside it looks questionable, but the interior is gorgeous. Staff is top-tier. The food was great. The prices were the best part. Honestly, if you live in NY, NJ, Philly this is a great get away. We plan to return with […] the warm weather. Loved the hotel. It's historic and interesting. Great bar, great restaurant. Free coffee and cake in the morning too was a nice touch. The rooms/bathrooms are small but clean. Would stay there again. The location is great too.

Downtown Bethlehem has so much to offer and the Hotel Bethlehem is right in the middle. But you don't even want to leave the hotel. It's got historic class. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Very comfortable accommodations. The only small disappointment was the breakfast menu - not very interesting for a grand old hotel!

A 5 star hotel with excellent service.

This is a gorgeous hotel and in December, it is filled with storybook charm as the lobby, ballroom and restaurants have beautiful decor and live music. In spite of having to evacuate down the staircase at 1 AM Christmas Eve because of a false fire alarm... my stay was wonderful and I wouldn't really stay anywhere else if I were to return to Bethlehem. […] The staff goes out of their way to make your stay extra nice. My kitty travels with me, and he enjoyed the comforts of home, also. Special thanks to Matt (doorman extraordinaire) and Charlotte (who was everywhere!) who were my top 2 staff picks for making my 4 nights and five days even more special. Step out the front door and you are right in the historic district, ready to explore the fun shops, take a bus tour from the Visitor's Center or find a yummy restaurant. The rooms are nice, with marble bathroom floors, wonderful shower, pillow top beds, good views, Keurig coffee/tea maker, spring water, and free wi-fi. Thumbs up for Hotel Bethlehem. Mehr

My stay was FANTASTIC! I am originally from the Bethlehem area and have always wanted to stay here. Upon my arrival, I was informed I got an upgrade from a queen room to a king executive suite! The room was beautiful and clean. I had a view of the air conditioning unit on the 4th floor, but I did not mind because the room itself was SO beautiful. I […] stayed over the Christmas holiday. The hotel was beautifully decorated both inside and out. The surrounding historic neighborhood has fantastic one-of-a-kind shops. The Tap Room in the lobby was busy due to the holidays, but they have plenty of couches to sit on if you are just getting a drink. I ordered room service twice. Both times the food was good and prompt. The room next door had a small dog. It barked when I left and entered my room. I could hear it in my room. Fortunately the owners calmed it down and the barking was not an issue at night. The Hotel Bethlehem was a long-awaited stay. My stay was all that I expected and more. It's not often I can stay at a hotel this elegant and get free wifi and parking. The hotel is located in the nicest part of downtown Bethlehem -- in the historic district, with lots of nice restaurants and charming stores. The room had extra niceties that I appreciated, too, such as an Ipod docking station and chocolates on the pillows.

Visiting Bethlehem, Pa during Christmas time was a worderful experience. The attractions were beatiful and rewarding. Just one reminder if you want to visit any of the places or eat in a nice restaurant you must have a reservation. Had a lovely stay at the Hotel Bethlehem in the city's historic section. Perfect during the holidays but we plan to return again during another time of year.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. It's location was convenient and every employee seemed more courteous than the next. But we were disappointed when a rowdy, out of control bridal party kept us up until 3am. We felt the hotel could have handled it better. And the rooms were kind of small. Other than that the rest of our stay was great.

Wonderful little place to stay. The only reason I gave the comfort of the room a 4 and not a 5 was that the bathroom was small. But loved it just the same. Many quaint shops up and down the street. Nice friendly staff.

The hotel is fantastic a real example of a classic luxury hotel. The Staff and service was top notch and the hotel and nroom was super clean.
