"Nah an Golden Gate Bridge"

Feb. 2013Mal abgesehen davon, dass man Gefahr laufen kann ein Zimmer direkt an der befahrenen Straße zu bekommen, handelt es sich hierbei um ein gutes Hotel in guter Lage zur Golden Gate Bridge und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten von San Francisco. Direkt vom Hoteldach hat man einen Blick auf die Brücke. Bushaltestellen sind auch direkt vor der Tür. Das beinhaltete Frühstück ist für amerikanische Standards eher ein Snack und besteht aus Kaffee,Tee, Orangensaft und Brot mit verschiedenen Marmeladensorten und Muffins aus keiner großen Auswahl. Freies begrenztes Parken steht auch zur Verfügung.

"Perfekte Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für San Fransiso"
Das Hotel war sehr sauber und gepflegt und liegt leider ein wenig außerhalb von san Fransisco. Das erste Zimmer lag leider mit Fenster in Richtung Highway. Auf Nachfrage war es aber kein Problem ein anderes Zimmer zu bekommen. Die Poolanlage ist sehr gepfegt.Das Frühstück das übliche continentale Frühstück wie es in den Motels zur Verfügung steht. Die […] Zugstation ist ca. 10 Minuten (mit dem Auto) entfernt. Von dort aus ist es überhaupt kein Problem mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach San Fransisco zu fahren. Daher eine kostengünstige Alternative gegenüber Übernachtungen direkt in San Fransisco. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und half auch bei Fragen zum öffentlichen Nahverkehr gerne weiter. The room was not very clean and 4 different mids stopped by my room leading up to my 10 am checkout. Friendly staff. Room did not look anything like the picture on the website, just a basic room, but very small. Room was clean, beds were okay. Hotel located right next to major highway and secondary road so we heard cars going by all night long. Breakfast was OK: Cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, coffee, tea, juices, waffels...didn't notice any fresh […] fruit or yogurts. Eggs & sausage were horrible...COLD. Staff member in breakfast room was very friendly. Surrounding neighborhood questionable; noticed several homeless people milling about. OK for the money. For me, it is about customer service, and the staff of this hotel is wonderful, especially the gentleman that checked me in around midnight. His warm demeanor and impeccable service now and about a month earlier caused me to change to your hotel as my Bay Area home away from home. You have a treasure in him. "not a full breakfast"
I chose thus hotel over the cheaper ones nearby because of the advertisement of a full breakfast, not a continental breakfast... Breakfast was served until 10:30.... I arrived for breakfast at 9:15 well before the cutoff... There were only a couple slices of bacon and when I asked for more was told they were not making anymore, however when another […] couple arrived that was apparently very friendly with the lady in charge of breakfast suddenly more bacon was made... Aside from that the waffle batter was not out in the dispenser add it should be... When I asked about it, since I was tools the other hot food would not be made, the lady said "oh you want a waffle" then brought a cup of batter out from a pitcher that was sitting out uncovered and didn't allow me to make my own waffle.... I love it!. The hotel is easy access to freeway. Close to restaurants. Love their breakfast. The service is good especially the breakfast ladies. Your get what you pay for. This is not a fancy place, but for the rate, it is a good deal. A little noisy if you get a room next to the street side so if your sensitive to noise, ask for a back room. the carpet was so filthy I not only had to where socks to whole time but also threw them out .the doors to the rooms banged very hard and rooms down the hall would shake my room.breakfast was the cheeziest ever,eggs were cold.never have I been to a best western in this condition,they should pull their name off this one.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

I read the reviews of the hotel and was a bit weary about staying there but once we arrived all the negative thoughts were washed away. Friendly staff, especially the housekeepers. Extremely convenient location to many restaurants and the freeway. The room smelled excellent despite that it is not a new hotel and the house keeping staff did an excellent […] job everyday. It was very noisy due to the location directly next to the freeway. The other thing that was very annoying was the slamming of the security door every morning at 6 am. This is a popular location for contractors to stay so when they leave in the morning everyone staying in the inside rooms can hear the door slamming. The bath towels were also on the […] rough side. The hotel is located on the 880 FWY off ramp. They require a $100 security deposit before letting you check and to top it off there was a horrible smell in the hallway of the 2nd floor that just would not subside.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung
