Novotel Paris CDG Terminal - Roissy-en-France

When we checked-in we didn't receiveany practical information about breakfast, check-out time etc. I asked if we could order food up to the room. They told us to order room-service from the room. When we got to the room to order room-service, the person that picked up the phone told us that she will call back. 45 minutes later she called back. We stayed at CDG Novotel after flying from Australia. We were tired and very happy with the location. Rooms were good and the bar was nice and friendly. The meals in the dining room were not to big and plenty of variety. An easy shuttle to and from the main airport and easy to get back to the main railway station next day. We arrived early and they let us check in at 11am. Very nice and clean hotel.

I have stayed at many hotels in the vicinity of CDG Airport. There can be long waits for the hotel shuttles between the airport and hotels. The Novotel is the second stop (Rossipole) on a rail connector between Terminal 2 and Terminal 1. There is a hotel entrance from inside the Rossipole Station, so there is no need to be outside in the weather. From […] chech-out to the airline counter for my boarding pass was less than 10 minutes. The hotel is directly connected to the access to CDG terminal 3. So it was convenient for the stay to catch an 6am flight from CDG in the morning. Most of the remaining CDG hotels are not directly connected to the terminals -- one must take shuttle buses. The quality of the hotel doesn't live up to normal Novotel standards. As the hotel is an airport […] hotel, the rooms are smaller and more cramped with just enough space for the basics. But if you are just staying one night as a quick stop-over for a flight, that is no problem. Some of the other reviews mention using this hotel for a basis to visit Paris -- no way, CDG airport is far outside of central Paris and the RER connecting train is not the best, easy to say. If you wish to visit Paris, book a hotel or rent an apartment centrally. Mehr

This hotel is very conveniently located for a morning flight from CDG Terminal 3 as well as for accessing SNCF trains and Paris metro. The service was very friendly and prompt. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. I would give a higher comfort rating if it were possible to open a window or if the ventilation were better - definitely got quite […] stuffy overnight. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of fruit, cereal, yogurt, croissants, bread, and hot buffet as well as very good unlimited coffee and tea. Convenient free internet in the lobby and a running list of flights and schedules by the lobby elevator. This is a very good 3 star hotel so don't expect a 5 star facility. But the staff was nice and they have a good bar and a good restaurant. The location is unbeatable if you have to go to CDG. There is an exclusive entrance to the hotel from the RER station (just look for the sign) and you can easily access the CDGVAL to go to the terminals. The rooms were nothing special (but not bad either). The restaurant was decent, and not overpriced (by Paris standards). The real selling point is the convenience to the airport - you don't even have to go outside to get from the hotel to the cdgval airport train's terminal 3 stop. Hotel location is ideal if you need to stay overnight in between flights, not appropriate for longer vacation in Paris.

I wish there would be an information on the Hotels.com website about the exact location of this hotel - attached to terminal 1 or 3 (I do not remember now) and how to get there. Our 45 min hotel bus shuttle trip to find it would have been avoided if there was a clear info about it's location. The room interior is very dated. Like the Novotel hotels in general, this one is comfortable, without particular glory. Considering that it is located in Paris ( or at least close by! ) the food is average. Directions to access it from any arrival terminal are totally lacking. Very modern and efficient hotel with restaurant. Very close to all terminals at CDG airport with effcient transportation to and from. The easiest way to get there is to take the automatic train at teminal 2 and exit at terminal 3 .The hotel is just outside the terminal

A very convenient and comfortable stay. We had one night in Paris and an early flight. Perfect location.

The Novotel at CDG could not be more convenient! You walk from the (free) shuttle train, called CDGVal, right into the hotel without even going outside. Our last stay we had problems with the a/c, but it was great this time, and we had an excellent night's sleep before a long flight the following day.

We have stayed here several times before and have always been pleased with the room and the great location next to CDG. However, this time the /c was not working properly and it was very uncomfortable in the room. A young man was sent to our room, and he opened our locked window to let in air.....that was better, since it was a rather cool day, but […] the noise was, of course, very loud. A perfect place to end a vacation traveling in France. We were able to drop off our rental car and take the airport train directly back to our hotel with no problem at all. The next morning, we just boarded the airport train and were take directly to our terminal for the flight back to to United States. Very clean, quite and comfortable.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Novotel CDG terminal. The room was clean and we had sufficient towels for all 4 of us. It was very quiet with absolutely no noise from the airport and the location can not be beat. We were able to return our rental car and take the train back to the hotel. Rude and impolite hotel staff.

this hotel is in very poor condition. the rooms stink of smoke, the shower is over the bath and is covered by a disgusting shower curtain that has never been cleaned. the bath was feral too. The room was supposed to be a ' Superior' room but there was nothing superior about it. it was tiny. staff did nothing to try and help me get my bags to my room […] even though they could see i was struggling with 2 large suitcases, 2 backpacks, 4 hand luggages, a pram and 2 young kids. it was so bad that we left without even staying the night.....that says it all really........ avoid at all costs.......... Very convenient location for those flying out early or arriving in Paris late. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. English language TV was available for news and computers in the lobby were available to print boarding passes.

The Novotel CDG Terminal makes an early a.m. flight easy with its airport location and shuttle tram a 3-minute walk from the lobby. The shuttle takes passengers to the A terminal, where it can be a hike to your check-in area but still very convenient. If you are leaving from A2, give yourself a half hour to get there. Excellent location for travelers who are changing planes or arriving late at night. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a very quiet comfortable room in a hotel close to our connections at the airport. The restaurant serves a wide range of excellent food at breakfast, and is open late which was great as our flight arrived quite late. I would definitely stay here again if flying to Paris.

Useful for an airport stopover although difficult to get any fresh air and hotel very tatty.

If you have a flight early the next day this is the ideal location at a reasonable price. Right in the airport on station # 3 of the VAL transportation train.

THe hotel is as specified, very close to the airport terminal and you dont have to take a cab or walk outside. Everything was convinient for a short stay when you have to take a plane again the next morning. I will recommend this hotel

If you have a morning flight out of CDG airport in Paris and don't want to wake up too early or take a chance on the traffic, then this hotel is a very convenient location connected to the Terminal 3 and Paris train transfer station. You can avoid going outside and take the 24 hour automated CDGVAL train - it was a 10 minute walk/ride to terminal 1 […] departure level. The room was of reasonable size, nothing too fantastic but clean. One annoyance to me was that the windows were locked shut, it was impossible to cool room quickly and get some fresh air when I arrived. Mehr

Staff was borderline rude. Room was too hot and the thermostat did not work. Room service food was sub-par for the cost (soggy bread! on a sandwich!). Windows are locked so no fresh air, and room smelled like it had not been aired in years. On a smoking floor and ventilation was completely ineffective. To top it all off, I accidentally left my camera […] in a cupboard in the room and when I called (the same day), the staff couldn't have cared less, nor would they make any effort to attempt to retrieve it for me -- just kept saying that I had to speak with housekeeping, and then housekeeping was never available when I did call. Have had a completely different response from staff at other hotels when this has happened to me in the past -- they actually cared if I got my belongings back. Mehr

This was SUPER convenient for an overnight before leaving Paris. LIterally connected to the terminal. We will use this place again. Clean, spacious, decent restaurant and bar. Just the ticket!

A good place for a one nite stay during a layover in Paris. Hotel is directly accessible within Terminal 3 of the CDG (Degaul) Airport. From this terminal is easy access to the "express" RER train to Paris Gare Du Nord, as well as the inernal Airport Shuttle and other transportation modes. We thought this location was nice and close to American Airlines. We were able to rest and get to American quite easy. Would stay again at this Hotel.

Our flight arrived in the evening and had a Easyjet flight at 7 am. Hotel very convenient located (of course it depeneds at which terminal you arrive, and 2 is very big, but once you arrive to the CDVAL - you're almost there. It was nice to see all the people waiting for their hotel shuttle, while we just walked 10 steps (OK, maybe 25) to the hotel […] door. Take care not to confuse it with other Novotels at the Airport - for this one you don't need a bus. The hotel is simple, a litlle too old (doors, walls etc) but very efficient. The room was very clean, less some old stains on the carpet. I also didn't like that the "Early bird" breakfast, which was supposed to include more than coffee - did not. If you need a hotel at CDG and you are with your family - it is a very good choice. Mehr

This hotel was perfect for our overnight before flying out of Paris. The hotel is easily and directly accessed with the shuttle train into the airport. You do not even need to go outside, which in our case was terrific, since we had a heavy rain at one point. We appreciated the free computer available in the lobby.

Staying here the night before we flew out was really convenient. We used room service, which was quite reasonable. Only issue was that room service for dinner was not available until 7pm.

If you have a morning flight, and you have been travelling or working outside of Paris, I reccomend spending the extra $$ and staying at the Novotel. I got off the TGV from Le Mans, after a gruelling week of racing, took the airport rail shuttle to T3, and 2 minutes later I was checking into a clean and comfortable room for a much needed rest before […] my flight back to the USA. In the am, you walk back to the shuttle, and a few minutes later arrive at the terminal of your choice and check in. It's worth the extra money. Really. I tried the alternatives. Mehr
