Was a good stay considering location to Worlds of fun Lay out of rooms are nice but needs a bit of upgrades rooms were pretty clean how ever i did check mattress which had bed bug stains so they definitely need to go! The walls are pretty thin since i could hear everything going on in the pool below and people walking down the halls

overall very pleasant stay. Staff very helpful. Room was comfortable. Staff added nice touch as they left home made cookies on each evening for the guests

Desk staff chose to answer multiple phone call (taking messages for staff) rather than complete my check in. Otherwise stay was fine.

I want to commend your wonderful staff. They were always friendly, greeting us as we came and went. We arrived at 9:45 on Friday evening, and after driving for 5 hours, I had 3 very stir crazy girls. Your incredible help allowed the girls to swim until 10:30 even though the pool closed at 10:00. I would say that is above and beyond the call of duty […] and I greatly appreciated that!! Mehr

Comfortable beds, clean, breakfast included, indoor pool and hot tub. We were disappointed that the hot tub was closed due to repairs - I was looking forward to a hot soak after a full day of walking/carrying kids at Worlds of Fun. Overall happy with hotel though and very convenient location for families spending time at Worlds and Oceans of Fun. The […] hotel staff/receptionists were very friendly and helpful at all times of day and night. FYI, breakfast only until 9 am weekdays. We did not realize this and thought it was until 10 am as it was on Sunday. A very nice staff went out of her way for my kids and husband and brought out some food even at 9:40am. Mehr

Very nice hotel. Conveniently located across from Worlds of Fun. The only issue we had was that the bathroom sink was clogged. The staff let us move to another room and the bathroom fan was not working in the 2nd room. The beds are very comfortable and have lots of pillows. The pool was nice, but the chemical level in the whirlpool seemed to be a little […] strong. The continental breakfast was very nice, but the breakfast room is a little small. Overall, it is a very clean hotel. We would stay there again. Mehr

I stayed at three similarly priced hotels in the Kansas City area this trip (two for business and this one for pleasure), and chose this one due to location near Worlds of Fun. This place was ok, but I think the best way to describe it is "worn"... stains in the hallways and elevator and the room (or at least the one we were in) could use a good makeover. […] The air conditioner was so loud at night, and woke us up every time it kicked on. The room was fine and fairly clean, but I was just a little disappointed after other stays in the area on this same trip. I guess that is what you should expect when you stay so close to a popular attraction in the city. So if you want to be close to Worlds/Oceans of Fun, and won't spend much time in the room, this place does the job. I also had an issue with this hotel pre-authorizing the entire room charge for the entire stay on my credit card, even though it was pre-paid through hotels.com, which I didn't find out about until I tried to use my card for a large purchase. When I talked to the hotel about it, they could not see that they put this though. No big deal, just a minor inconvenience that was unexpected. I probably would chose a different hotel in the area next time and would only recommend after telling someone about my experience. Mehr

This hotel was great! The staff were very friendly and very helpful. It was a little loud since it is next to I-435 but didn't keep us up at night. The pool area was small, but our son didn't seem to mind. We will stay here again. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

I would highly recommend this hotel as it is very close to the Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun attractions. It was very clean and new. Everything in the room was clean and new. Awesome hotel

We found the hotel to be exactly as expected, with only one exception: We called prior to our stay to inquire as to whether the hotel had a gym. We were assured that a workout facility was available. When we arrived, we were told that we could use the local YMCA facilities for free one time, and that is what they considered "available workout facilities." […] Other than that, it was a very well-kept hotel. The people working the front desk were friendly and always eager to help. The continental breakfast was adequate. The pool was small, but never too crowded. We would stay here again for sure. Mehr
