Service und Sauberheit und Komfort waren gut. Lage und Preis auch ok. Hotel ist ziemlich zentral gelegen die unmittelbare Umgebung ist jedoch nicht so spannend. Das Frühstück ist zu teuer, sollte man woanders einnehmen.

Lage und Hotel sind insgesamt i.O. Der Hotelservice war sehr freundlich und hilfbereit. Das Zimmer war für 3 Personen sehr klein.

Sehr ansprechendes Hotel, gutes Frühstück und kompetente Rezeption. Gute Lage, 10 Minuten Fussweg ins Zentrum. Bahnhof ca. 20 Minuten, Metro ca. 10 Minuten Fussweg.

Pluspunkt: - ca. 15' zum Zentrum - tolles Frühstücksbüffet mit viel Auswahl - gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis Minuspunkt: - zur Tramstation Richtung Zentrum musste man erst einige Minuten zu Fuss gehen - Zimmer eher hellhörig, man hört fast jedes Wort vom Flur

The noise from traffic was excessive when the window was open.The room faced the main traffic route into the tunnel.There is a super market 5 minutes from the hotel.

It was just an ordinary hotel, a bit out of the way, room was decent size, NO FRIDGE or individual shampoos etc which I like! Restaurant food was nice. Some staff were really lovely other were not, Not sure if I would stay again.

Hotel was about 14 minutes walk from RLD. Not bad for its price... AC was not working in the room but staff were friendly and changed our room right away. Pillows were small though.

Just back from a 5 day break and thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Central, clean and comfortable. Our room had a canal view which was lovely. Good breakfast to set us up for a day of sightseeing. Friendly helpful staff.

The hotel Ibis, Voldenburgerstraat, Amsterdam, was short walking distance to central sights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean , breakfast was good, but the beds are the most uncomfortable ever, not for anyone who might like to develop a sore back after only a short stay !

Easy to find within walking distance of city centre and station. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Good buffet-style breakfast sets you up for the day.Very obliging staff.

We had a really enjoyable weekend in the Stopera. Excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable with pod style bathroom (which we liked and didn't find too small!). No wardrobe or drawers but reasonable hanging space and storage shelves. Flat screen TV and (free) safe. Very good breakfast buffet with hot […] and cold dishes and plenty of choice. Though in a relatively quiet area, the hotel is very well located for walking to the city centre and tram and metro stops nearby made for easy access to other parts. Very near to large supermarket, Rembrandt's House Museum and Gasson Diamond Factory, the nearest stop for the Hop-on Hop-off City Sightseeing tour, which is a great way to see Amsterdam, especially if on a short trip like we were (26 euros for all day ticket on bus and one hour canal cruise). Liked best - location and staff. Liked least - only (very minor) criticism is that the TV channel choice in English is very limited, with only BBC World service and Eurosport (which didn't really matter, but I really can't think of anything else I didn't like!). WE booked this hotel over the holidays since my daughter lives just a few houses down the road. We were surprised to find us in the center of Amsterdam. All the sights are in walking distance. I would prefer a room next time to the back of the hotel, we had a room to the street and with the window open the noise got be a bit much. The rooms are laid […] out to be efficient, but not a thing spared. The staff was helpful and kind. We chose to take a cab over the shuttle to go back to the airport and we negotiated the same price for the cab as the shuttle without having to stop at any other hotel. Just ask any cab driver for a quote! The cab drive was just 20 minutes in the early morning. Overall a good experience! Mehr

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. Its about 15 mins walk into the centre and the railway station, and close to a number of museums.

Great hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and simple. Good variety at buffet breakfast.

IBIS are essentially a high-end budget brand, similar (but better than) the UK Premier Inn chain. It is hard to fault this one; rooms are modern, comfortable and well lit, with an unusual “modular” curved bathroom (ie. pre-manufactured as a complete unit then installed in the room as a unit). The shower is among the best hotel showers ever! There is […] a fixed-line phone (though who uses these now?) more importantly you get wi-fi free for one hour at a time. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and there is a small buffet but it includes a good range of hot and cold items. My husband and I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest we could find on a short notice. Needless to say, we were disappointed with what we got. It doesn't seem like they have any double beds but instead just two twin beds pushed together- not very comfortable for a couple. The room was small and dingy with paint coming off the walls and it smelled […] like cigarettes. The neighborhood is shady after dark and I wouldn't feel comfortable walking alone. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again. Its worth paying the extra $40 a night and getting something nicer and more centrally located. Mehr

A very comfortable room, clean and well set out. The breakfast is OK. A quick stroll to Waterlooplein to catch the trams. Recommended.

Had two night here in June 2011. Very decent hotel, everything clean and tidy as expected from an Ibis chain. Not much character and a bit pricey, but it seems Amsterdam is expensive for accommodation. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from central station, 15 minutes to Dam Square and the centre, and there are restaurants and a supermarket just around […] the corner from the hotel. If you want something cheaper but with a bit of character and right in the city centre then go for one of the hostels there, if you want somewhere clean, convenient and safe to leave your stuff and not too far to walk to the centre then this is perfect. They also have a restaurant doing breakfast and dinner but we ate around the corner. Mehr

The room was spacious with lot of shelves to put our luggages. The bed were comfortable and everything was super clean. We had a hard time everytime though trying to open th TV. Even if the hotel is not located downtown, it's close to walk from one place to another and the subway is near. Cost of the breakfast is expensive though but there is a supermarket […] and a place that sells alcool just around the corner. Some of the staff speaks French which is great. Mehr

The hotel staff was very helpful when we arrived in Amsterdam and my luggage was still in New York! They called the airline several times and tried their best to help me get it back quickly. The hotel was very clean, as was our room. It was a very comfortable place to stay.

The Hotel Ibis City Stopera is a clean, affordable hotel in a rather run down, scary neighborhood. While it is within walking distance of city attractions and Central Station, the surrounding buildings and lots are trash filled and in disrepair. The hotel was very nice with everthing except the smell in the room. The location was ok, room and the bathroom was very clean, breakfast was satisfying but the room smelled smoke. Somebody definetly smoked in that room and not a cigarette.

A typical IBiS hotel. Clean, tidy, professional, but like all IBIS, sometimes a little cold and sterile. It's hard to fault them but you always get the"just another person" mentality and feel from the hotel. That said no body was ever rude or fussy, the room perfect and clean, shower/bathroom etc spotless. It just lacked a welcoming warmth that […] I've had from countless other hotels. That said. The room doors all automatically slammed shut at all hours of the night and kept us up. Bed was pretty uncomfortable. The welcome staff were very abrupt and we had to ask about breakfast times and they didn't even tell us where it was. There is nothing really with in a few mins walk from the hotel so be prepared to walk a bit for food and drink.

nice place to stay, good bed, good staff, decent location, really nice bathroom/shower. room smelled like cigarette smoke, but we didn't ask them to do anything about it because we were only staying one night.

Op zich prima alleen stonden wel erg veel beddenin mnkamer (3) waardoor weinig loopruimte. Prijs IBIS tov IB0 hotels in andere steden is aan pittige kant enb dan ook nog excl. Ontbijt

Bon hotel, propre, spacieux, plus calme que son équivalent à centraal station mais un peu plus loin du centre. (prévoir 20min de marche pour le moindre restau et 40min pour le quartier rouge) le quartier est pas terrible justement (pas du tout touristique) et on aurait apprécié plus de boutiques,de restaus ou de cafés dans le coin). demander une chambre […] au bord du canal (plus pittoresque) plutôt qu'ailleurs. De todo lo que he visto antes de decidirme por este en calidad precio de lo mejor. El desayuno tipo bufett muy completo. Habitaciones limpias con cama muy confortable. Centrico pero lo suficientemente alejado del tumulto. En definitiva muy recomendable

dommage que, vu le nombre de français dans l'hotel, aucune hotesse d'acceuil ne parle le français.

Me ha gustado mucho el hotel, bien situado, a 10 minutos del centro, y cerca del transporte publico,el trato muy bueno, el desayuno bien, no muy variado, pero correcto. Repetiría sin duda

Nous avons grandement apprécié cet hotel pour sa propreté ,sa localisation, la courtoisie de son personnel, l'excellent petit déjeuner, sa modernité. Cependant, il est très bruyant surtout quand les clients ferment la porte de leur chambre ou que les jeunes fêtards de fin de semaine arrivent la nuit ou au petit matin en état d'ébriété.Il ne smble pas […] y avoir de service de sécurité pour y remedier. Hotelli oli sijainniltaan hyvä: sekä kävellen että julkisilla pääsi helposti keskustaan. ravintola oli ok. kylppäri ja huoneet pienet. niukasti saippuaa, ei muuta. Kun tarkoitus on pyöriä kaupungilla, hotelli oli riittävän laadukas

L'hotel est situé à 20 mn à pied de la gare ferrovière et du centre ville (place de Dam). Comme vous circulez à vélo, vous êtes à 5 mn de ces lieux. Hotel très calme, quartier très calme à la frontière du beau quartier de plantage, du côté du "némo". Personnel accueillant et serviable. Petit déjeuner très copieux (à volonté) et très diversifié. Une équipe courtoise,ayant le sens du service dans un hôtel IBIS égal à la gamme IBIS de la chaîne Accor. Situation idéale car tout est faisable à pied.

Joli hotel, proche du métro (mais en rénovation actuellement donc indisponible) et du TRAM qui vous emmene directement sur Dam Square. Seulement faites attention à ne pas traîner trop tard en ville, car le dernier métro et Tram est à 00h25. Ensuite vous avez une bonne vingtaine de minute de marche pour vous rendre à l'hotel. A partir de 2h du matin, […] on sent que le quartier à changer, les rues sont jonchées d'individu dangereux, drogués, tentant d'attirer votre attention. Bref, à partir d'une heure du mat si vous etes en couple et que vous dormez a cette hotel, rentrez vite ! On s'est fait une bel frayeur... Mehr

Vi var en gjeng på 12 personer som valgte et noe rimelig alternativ, og vi kunne ikke hatt det bedre! Hotellets betjening var alltid blide og hjelpsomme, det var reint og ryddig overalt, men det kunne vært noe større utvalg fra kjøkkenet! Vi drar gjerne til Amsterdam igjen, og da velger vi Ibis hotell!
