First of all I turned up at 2pm and then told checking is not untill 2:30pm even thou hotel.com states 2pm, however I was pleased that my room was upgraded to business class room so I could book in at 2pm. The room was comfy and clean except for the bathroom! The floor had not been cleaned and there was toe nail clippings on the floor. Also the corodors […] were still full of cleaning trolleys and dirty laundry at 3pm making the hotel look messy and very bad at time keeping. Also be carefull of the time when you use the door to gain entry into the building from the car park. Rang to gain entery at 11:30 and no answer even thou there was someone on the desk when I used the main enterance. Mehr

Had a great stay in the park inn room was lovely big and clean .we had adjoining doors which was great for us friends . Breakfast was nice and the price for hotel was great booked early . Will defiantly stay again .

Perfect spot for a girlie weekend,as it was 2 minutes to the shopping centre. Room a bit too warm as no air con so had to have window open, which we then got a lot of noise from the road . Breakfast was good and staff very efficient and friendly.

I found this hotel to be excellent overall. My room was comfortable with an enormous bed and was very clean: as was the rest of the hotel. Restaurant is quite expensive, although the food was excellent quality. A good hotel close to all local amenities and the rail station. I would definitely stay there again.

Not as good as last stay. Booked a double room but got a twin. Terrible smell of damp in room, problem in bathroom, water wouldn't drain from bath. However, would stay there again as I think I was just unlucky this time and the hotel is in such a good location with an excellent breakfast.

Great location and good service from members of staff working there. Found the room to be smaller then what i usually expect and the beds had badly fitting sheets placed on them. Would stay at its better cousin next time, Radisson Blu.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare as the machine only takes exact coins and was having problems accepting our particular notes, so had to go all the way up to reception get correct money / new notes to put in the machine, very limited parking space. Hotel reception looked nice and modern. We were given an "upgrade" in a suite on the 5th floor. Corridor […] smelt very musty! Huge room, almost too big! Neat and clean which is what I mainly look for in a hotel but very out-dated. Could do with a general spruce up - walls need some paint - patches on the walls that have been fixed but not painted, bedding looked worn. The ceiling in the cupboard was full of mold and needs to be fixed, we luckily didn't need to use it being there just one night. The buffet breakfast in the morning was EXCELLENT! A huge spread of food and really tasty! Would go back just for the breakfast! On a whole its good value for money for what we paid. Its a clean basic sleep. Mehr

2nd stay @ this hotel, room v cold, contact reception they say cos u on end room ? huh? breakfast not good, waited 15 mins for eggs in mean time tea and breakfast gone cold! also had prob with car in underground car park, staff were not interested!!!! nxt time will stay @ angel hotel they have a better profesional aproach!!!!!

The hotel was conveniently located in the city centre, close to the St. David shopping area, and very close to the main tourist sites (Cardiff Castle, Nat'l Museum, etc), as well as the train station. The hotel was good for a budget hotel but the heaters didn't work and I spent the night waking up due to the cold.There were no additional blankets available, this is really not a nice way to spend a night.

Not happy to discover that the nightly room rate (including breakfast) was no different to what we had paid on here - WITHOUT breakfast - and we couldn't cancel on here!! The details for the hotel said there was no car park, and so we parked in the nearest multi-storey, which cost a lot. Our 'double' bed was actually two singles with a double sheet […] over them, so very uncomfortable, as we kept gravitating towards the join. Pillows extremely hard and uncomfortable. Staff very polite and helpful from the outset, check in was easy and quick Room was good size for the price and Bed comfy, all areas clean. TV had freeview. Location was brilliant for the city centre, Motorpoint Arena was across the road, and next day it was a short walk to shopping area, places to eat just around the corner and lots of choice. As the […] weather was bad I ordered room service and it came really quick and was still warm. Only downside's were a bit confusing finding the right way to get to the hotel and the car park underneath needs to be paid in cash doesn't take card payments, so take lots of change which isn't explained in the hotel details. and also the payment for my room service came out twice when i checked my bank account but the extra was put straight back into my account. Just a admin error, so happy it was rectified quickly. Overall would recommend this hotel. Mehr

could'nt fault anything about this hotel.Ideal location for St Davids hall. pubs eateries etc. Hotel clean and tidy, breakfast top notch, staff friendly and helpful.Dropped half a point for parking, too small for hotel although i had no problem, would like to have been able to book in advance. All in all very pleasant stay.

Overall our stay was very good, as this was the 1st time my daughter had stayed here with me, the only problem was the room was not warm enoght as the heating wouldnt go up any further even after it had been seen to.

Initial appearance of the reception and bar areas, whilst spacious and modern, may be slightly deceptive. Once into the hallways and bedroom it is apparent that this is an older property that has been modernised just enough to give it a contemporary feel. The room, whilst being perfectly acceptable and clean and comfortable, was functional at best, […] the light fittings and general decor being slightly tired and worn looking. Heating was provided by a single electric radiator rather than climate control. But for a 3 star city centre hotel, it beat all comers for price, and the room service and morning breakfast were fine. Would possibly think again if staying for several nights. One negative : the tiny car park, which was a struggle to get in and out of after it gave no indication that it was full, I then needed to park in an adjoining multi-storey and drag my luggage up and down and across a couple of roads - again though : £6 for an overnight stay is not to be sniffed at. We were given room 507 which was filthy, wallpaper ripped, Cardiff shredded, small TV padlocked to the wall, hair in the plughole, cobwebs and very dated decor. It should never have been given to paying guests. However, when I complained we were moved immediately to a beautiful room which was very modern and clean and given complimentary drinks in the […] bar. I don't know whay they were thinking of by putting us in that room in the first place when the other rooms are so lovely. I will go there again due to it's excellent location to St David's 2 but will make sure I get a nice room. Mehr

Brilliant - the room had everything you needed and the bed was so comfortable! If I was to make one critisism it was that when I ordered breakfast in bed I was meant to receive egg but didn't, however the rest of the breakfast was gorgeous - especially the croissants! All in all a very comfortable a pleasant stay. Thanks Park Inn!

The hotel was conveniently placed, opposite the Motorpoint Arena. A short walk from the train station too. The facilities were good with a modern reception, bar and cafe area. The room was extremely comfortable and nicely furnished. The only area looking a bit tired was the corridors, which although clean and tidy, did not match the high quality feel […] of of the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was very good, the full english was not at all greasy.The only real negative was some traffic and city centre noise, but the comfort allowed you to soon drop off to sleep again.
