Quality Inn Lee - Lee

Overall, I would stay at this hotel again if I needed to. The room was clean, great view and the expected amenities..... now the bad: Our room fridge was a very small cube, the room was done in the 80's the early 80s you can tell!, although clean and fairly well maintained for the area and price I expected common things, like flat screen TV, and proper […] coffee service. Free breakfast - we walked into what looked like a bar (but I never saw it open) and there is some Hindu temple set up in there... don't get me wrong, if I was in India, I would expect that since it is common in their culture, but I am in America and I was offended by this display! The coffee was the worst in the world, the bacon (which we had to ask for) was ice cold, limited selection of danish (which are cut into quarters for you) ... overall everything was on the cheap and it showed! This hotel has great bones and is a nice location, but the cheapness of it all just turned us off and we will likely try another hotel in the area next time we visit. We don't ask for much, and modern appliances, a religious free zone for eating, and a courteous staff shouldn't be too hard to offer. The staff... at check in a nice older man checked us in and we thought we were in store for a wonderful stay! we went up to visit my sister in Pittsfield and stayed at the Quality inn had a great stay, clean rooms, the only suggestion is change the rest, into a sports bar and and have a nice lounge to have a drink, esp. when the spring and summer come, you have a beautiful view, Indian rest does not cut it, the place was dead the three nights we stayed there […] and I will not eat in a rest. that is dead, I have been a chef since 1969 over forty years in the business, there is nothing to attach guest in that dining area, Mehr

The hotel is beginning to show its age. The phone didn't work, the paint on the walls was so thin that the previous color (apparently from years past) was beginning to show through, and the toilet dripped. The room was reasonably comfortable, but the aggravations will shortly become problems if not attended to.

I specifically booked this hotel because it advertised a sauna, I work at a local ski resort, Jiminy Peak, and I wanted to soak in a hot tub after my shift and the next morning before reporting in. I was told that the suana was out of order, i could have stayed much closer to the resort otherwise. They did allow me to check in early, and I asked if […] there was a king bed available as I was booked into a single, they just told me I was booked in a single, no effort to try and upgrade me. I have been to Hyatt's and Hiltons in New Orleans, Newport, and other places and have been cheerfully upgraded when there were openings. I noted that the parking lot wasn't that full the next morning, I feel that they could have given me the King room and with a waterview, but didn't even bother. Their loss, I will be staying in the area every weekend until late March, but I will seek out other establishments. Mehr

Very poor service at front desk and very dirty. Not able to change room for a better one even thou hotel was not full. At breakfast, very little food was avalaible; so eat in town.

Although a little scuffed at the edges, this hotel is good value with great service. The Bombay Restaurant serves great Indian cuisine.

The building is a little old, but the price is right. I wish there was more privacy to the pool. It is right in front of the restaurant's dining room window. The balcony rooms by the lake are very nice. The view is great. We couldn't take the paddle boat out though, because it was after 6 pm. That was disappointing.

Overpriced, but clean.

Way too expensive for a below average facility--for what!!! They need to clean up their act!!

Nice hotel, lake views are great. Breakfast is OK, could be a little better. Easy parking.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is dirty. The drawing point is supposed to be the lake view, however, the windows are so dirty you cannot see the lake. The carpet is dirty and disgusting. It could be a reasonably priced and acceptable hotel if they put a few dollars into a cleaner atmosphere.

i stopped and stayed here on a recent trip from Western NY to Eastern Mass - just long enough that I couldn't do the round trip in one day and needed to just stop and sleep. So the price was definitely right - but the first thing I saw in the room - which was small but fine - was the coverlet on the bed covered with lots of dark hair. The blanket underneath […] was also covered - there were dark hairs in the sheets although I could tell the sheets were clean. I stripped the bed and used blankets I had in the car. Everything else was fine - there's wifi and TV and a decent bathroom. I didn't have the breakfast. The hotel itself is pretty run down but that wouldnt bother me for the super low price - just the HAIR - yuck. Mehr

Beautiful view across lake from outdoor pool. A few miles off the highway on other side of town. Good continental breakfast. Good value for the money.

A very nice clean room, close to major destinations and a good price to boot.

On a beautiful lake between Lee and Pittsfield, MA. Nice large rooms, comfortable, but basic accommodation. Excellent Indian restaurant on premises. Staff were nice; location is superb. In summer there is about a 10 minute off-highway walk to a nice bathing beach. Reasonable price for the quality. I would stay there again.

It worked for us. It was close to the wedding that we attended.

Small rooms, need some maintenance. Unhelpful, unfriendly front desk. Nice setting - lake view out the back is nice. Breakfast area needed maintained. Hotel overall needs to be updated.

Not bad for the price. Room was dusty, view of the lake wan't bad. High speed internet worked really well. Would stay somewhere else for more money next time though.

The room is not kept clean. My room had extremely old carpet that I did not feel comfortable to walk bare foot. The shower curtain had plenty of mildew. The electrical outlets are too old and therefore, anything you plug in doesn't stay secure - this hotel needs to be upgraded. The staff is very kind - this is a plus here.

We stayed there for Tanglewood. Very close. Easy drive and convenient. Friendly staff excellent breakfast. Very clean but the Wi-Fi didn't work all that well. Otherwise it was great. Planning on returning next year.

A good price for an expensive area of the country, during summer, is always welcome. The Quality Inn Lee is situated on a lake and has access to a great swimming beach, as well. Breakfast is o.k. and free, the OJ is subpar.

Pay the extra few dollars and get a lake view--what a beautiful way to wake up! Large breakfast room also overlooking the lake, with a nice selection including make-them-fresh waffles.

The decor was a little outdated, but the price was very good for all that you got. Continental breakfast was good. We rented a lake view room. Our balcony was 30 yards from the lake and the scenery was beautiful and peaceful. The hotel rented kayaks, paddle boats and house boats. The kids rented the paddle boat for an hour. Definitely worth the rental […] fee. The pool was a bit small and right next to the windows of the restaurant. Would've liked more privacy. Overall, I was very satisfied and would return in a heart beat. Mehr

I spent two nights at the Quality Inn in Lee, MA and I thought it was wonderful!!! The room was very clean and I ended up eating at the Bombay Restaurant both nites because the food is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This hotel is wonderful! I was able to get a reservation at the last minute and arrived 2 hours later. The restaurant in the hotel was the Bombay (Indian food) and although I don't normally like this type of food, it was just wonderful!!! The breakfast was free and offered many options. We had a beautiful view of the lake and it was great that there was an Indian Restaurant with very tasty food. The location was close to Tanglewood and Shakespeare and Company. I would recommend this place highly.

Nice enough hotel, friendly staff. Near Tanglewood and Shakespeare & Co. Pool and lake were great. Picked it because of location on the lake. Breakfast buffet was good, better than I expected, though certainly not gourmet. Waffle machine, hard boiled eggs, etc.

Très bon rapport qualité prix... c'est sûr qu'on aurait aimé avoi la vue sur le lac, mais ce n'est pas mentionné dans la reservation.... et un lit plus grand (queen vs double), mais bon confort!! Le restaurant indien qui fait aprtie de l'hotel est très bon

Hotel très agréable au bord d'un lac. Jolie piscine. Chambre très correcte et petit déjeuner copieux et assez complet. A regretter néanmoins mes odeurs de cuisine du restaurant indien de l'hotel au bord de la piscine. Et ce matin là une coupure d'eau jusqu'à 9 h.

Séjour agréable dans cette hôtel. Le personnel était sympathique. Nous avions des chambres avec vue sur le lac, plus jolie et plus calme.
