Best Western Hotel Strasbourg - Genf

Das Zimmer war sehr , sehr klein und nicht klimatisiert. Da es sehr heiß war mußte man mit geöffnetem Fenster schlafen. Obwohl die Rezeption ein ruhiges ZImmer bestätigt hatte (!) war das Zimmer unglaublich laut, da sich Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe befinden und erst nach 3.00h morgens Schlafen möglich war.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Sehr geeignet für Bahnreisende. Der Preis schein mir etwas hoch zu sein für die Zimmergrösse.

Das Frühstück war sehr spärlich! Die Räumlichkeiten schön und gepflegt.

Liegt sehr günstig. Rezeption ausgezeichnet. Generell zufriedenstellend. Preis zu teuer, wie buchstäblich alles in Genf exorbitant teuer ist, sogar für Schweizer Verhältnisse. Frühstück gar zu simpel und lieblos, inklusive Bedienung.

This hotel is small and one street from the main station. It is more like something out of Faulty Towers than a hotel. Five minutes walk and you are down by the lake and the rest of the city. Reception was not very friendly and was reluctant to hold a conversation about anything....mainly one word answers. Room was small and very dated in its decor......badly […] needs renovating. Breakfast was cold an uninspiring and very limited in content. We were coming out of the breakfast room and my wife went outside to look at the weather and the the receptionist chased after her wanting the room key. I wonder if his name was Basil? Not really Best Western standard and very expensive along with the rest of Geneva. Only saving grace was its location which was convenient to most things. We walked the area till 9pm and found it to be quite safe and mainly full of restaurants and not the sleazy red light area some travellers have suggested Mehr

Very small bed, Wifi poor, Staff opened our door and left it opened while we were out! Hotel window view of dodgy Karaoke bar! Good location though in town center.

As stated this is a great location just across from Le Brasseur a great restaurant, however the rooms are tiny and could use a thorough steam cleaning. I would imagine if you're looking for a place for a quick one or two day visit to Geneva, this location could be tolerated, but for any extended period of time it is not recommended. The breakfast is […] just a plate of cheese and cold cut left out without refrigication. The staff was nice and friendly, but they barely made up for the lack of modern conviniences. No air conditioning, and if you leave the windows open, due to it's location, there are loud noises outside until 2-3 in the morning. Mehr

The hotel was adequate and centrally located. The staff, one lady in particular, was not helpful. I asked about securing a taxi to the airport for the following morning and her reply was that I should go on the internet, that this is only a 3-star hotel - the implication being that that kind of service is not available in 3-star hotels. I've never heard […] such a response anywhere. There was also a bar across the street on the side of the hotel that our room was on. Open 24 hours with people outside where they could smoke, talk and laugh. Since the room was very warm we wanted to open the window but the noise from the bar made this a not-so-good trade-off. Mehr

decent hotel close to restraunts, the lake, the train & bus stations so you don't need cabs. They gave us free transit passes and that was a nice bonus.

the hotel is situated right near the train station, it is very clean. The rooms are small, in "french" style. I would recommend to stay just for 1-2 nights, unless you are taking lux.rooms

Terrible, terrible, terrible hotel! The staff, of one, was friendly and professional, but the overall experience was still miserable. Even though the room was clean, the bathroom smelled pretty bad. The room had no air-conditioning, so it became impossible to sleep... The obvious option would have been to open the windows, but because there is a busy […] restaurant/bar and a ´weird ladies of the night´ club in front of the hotel, the noise was also unbearable; this without even mentioning that the room or apartment directly across the street from our room seemed to be servicing some of the club’s clientele (of course, because of the hot weather, with the windows also open). Just around the corner from the train station. I know A/C is not common in European hotels, but with our room on a low floor just above a loud bar, and no fan or air circulation ... the first part of the night was miserable!

The hotel is ideally situated, very close to railway station but not noisy. It is therefore better to take the train from the airport as taxi was very expensive. Hotel provided travel pass for the duration of our stay which included return trip to airport. Reception staff were extremely helpful.

Everything was good but theonly thing i would say I was not pleased with was that stafrf were not helpful when told that our train left at 7.00am and could we have something to take away to eat for breakfast. (Breakfast is included in the price) we were told that breakfast was not served until 7.00!! and we were shrugged off. Eventually we were offered […] a drink of orange juice and a croissant each - not even wrapped we had to find our own way of wrapping the food to eat on the train. Very unsatisfactory. Mehr

Hotel is 2 minutes from the station, 5 minutes from the Lake and 5 minutes from the giant Manor Department Store...........Bars, Restaurants and McDonalds all within a minute. Busy Bar / Restaurant directly opposite the hotel. Friendly helpful staff, basic breakfast.

Helt ok mellanklasshotell, stor fördel med närhet till tågstationen. McDonalds runt hörnet för den som anländer sen kväll eller söndag då övrigt är stängt. Rummet litet och lyhört till korridoren men rent och prydligt. Hotellet var bra men det serverades lite trist frukost (kaffe/te/juice, bröd och croissant, ost och skinka samt yoghurt, flingor och […] mjölk - inga möjligheter att få tex ett kokt ägg). Mehr

Om intensjonen er å benytte hotellet til en plass å sove er dette et veldig bra hotell. Beliggenheten nær sentrum/jernbanen er utmerket. Siden det ligger i en sidegate er det også rolig. Omgivelsene rett utenfor hotellet er ganske gjennomsnittlig. Derfor, om det er viktig med fin utsikt fra hotellet etc, bør en kanskje gå for et 4 eller 5 stjerners […] hotellet langs elven. Rommene er forholdsvis små, men du har det som trengst. Godt med plass til sengene + bagasjeplass, men ikke så mye mer. Mehr

Hôtel dans une rue calme bien qu'à proximité de la gare 2 minutes à pied. Très bonne situation pour visiter Genève, à proximité du lac Léman et de tous les transports en commun. Personnel très accueillant à l'accueil. Par contre, petit déjeuner limite pour un 3*, personnel peu gracieux, qualité de la nourriture moyenne.

1.飯店房間均沒有冷氣＆電扇，僅有飯店大廳＆餐廳有冷氣，但夏天溫度高達35度C...幸好飯店人員借我們小電扇，晚上室外溫度會約降至約26～28度C，但房間內很悶，且沒有紗窗，室內沒空調一定得開窗，隱密性不足，小蟲難免飛入 2.飯店雖有提供免費無線網路，不過速度很慢，且極不穩定，在房間內幾乎不太能用，只能到大廳使用，但連線仍斷斷續續 3.早餐只有提供冷食，但還不錯吃！local food 4.飯店附近的環境頗髒亂，晚上治安感覺沒有很好，會有人摔酒瓶 5.飯店房間非常狹小，但因為地點就在火車站對面的巷子，且有地下通道直接通往火車站＆公車站，交通非常便利

It was a pleasure to check into the hotel. The gentleman in reception was courteous and helpful. A hotel guest in Geneva gets a free 10-zone travel card for public transport, valid for the entire stay, which also covers the train journey back to the airport. very handy. The railway station can be reached by walking through the huge pub just opposite […] the hotel. In the other direction, towards Pont Mt Blanc are more bars, resraurants and shops. The room itself was rather old fashioned, but comfortable enough - and the buffet breakfast was fine. Mehr

Vi syntes godt om værelset, der lå på 3. sal. Værelset var ikke så stort, men der var, hvad der skulle være. Meget høflig betjening. Vi havde værelser ud til gården, hvilket betød, at der var meget stille. Elevator. Vi nød opholdet. Fin morgenmad med hurtig og høflig betjening.

Reception was awfull and agressive, the rest of the stay was a pleasure. Hotel is situated close to the station, the lake lots of restaurants and bars. The continental breakfast is nice.

Hotellet ligger rett ved jernbanen og kun få minutter fra Mont Blanc broen og havnen. Gamlebyen når man også greit til fots. Hyggelig personale, rene rom og god seng. Noe støy fra gaten på dagtid og kveld, men var stille etter midnatt.

Rent og pænt, men værelset vendte ud til støjende gade. Larm det meste af natten og ingen air con. Ingen internetpc tilgængelig på hotellet. Ingen p-muligheder.
