Hotel etwas heruntergekommen. Zimmer ok, Bad koennte sauberer sein. Schwimmbad muesste renoviert werden, wirkt etwas schmudelig. Lage an der U-Bahn sehr praktisch.

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Helpful staff, Woud certainly stay again and recommend to others.

Good clean Hotel, restaurant and bar on premise has good menu. Internet was good. Great central location with subway close by was able to travel around town no problem. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel as a group of 6 (3 separate rooms) my only complaint was that the extra charges and the mini bar is weighted so the minute you touch something you buy it. I have never seen anything like it. Parking is not included but an extra $17. Other then that it was a nice hotel with very curteous staff

We stayed at this hotel due to it's proximity to the Toronto Center for the Arts and it was perfect. The hotel desk staff was very friendly and knowledgable. It was great to park at the hotel and have the subway in the bottom of the building. The only complaint is the hotel restaurant...stay away. Terrible service, awful food, dirty glasses, plates […] and cutlery, hair in everything. Mehr

Found the room small for four people. That would be the only downfall. Not sure if other sizes were available at similar rates or what the rates were as we were a little late in booking and this was the option available to us. He did however have wonderful meals with you and the service was exceptional. Loved that the subway was right downstairs...wow...we […] just hopped on and travelled to our destination. I booked this hotel soley based on the fact it is pretty much connected to the Toronto Center of the Arts. It worked out perfectly, it was a short drive from the 401. We checked into the hotel without any hitches. Parking: Unfortunately was $17, however the guy working the door gave us a free pass as we were about to pay him for parking. Pool: We […] had some time to kill so we decided to go for a swim. I felt as though the pool was a bit dirty. At least it looked dirty. We swam anyways, and just showered immediately afterwards. Room: The room was clean and our King size bed was very comfortable. However, I am not used to sleeping on a bed with only a base sheet and duvet. It kind of gives me the heebee-geebees, so we called down for a top sheet, and fixed that problem. My boyfriend did however call me crazy for making him help me make the bed in a hotel room, but i couldn't sleep without a barrier between myself and the duvet. The washroom was clean and quite spacious, however it didn't lock which we thought was a little weird. Overall it was a good stay and if we ever need a place to say in this area of Toronto we will consider staying here. Mehr

the room was extremely cold. we called the hotel to fix the air conditioning. there seemed to be no change after fixing. Other than that it was handy to the Toronto Art Theatre.

Our stay at the Novotel was wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Desk staff was very, very helpful ! This hotel is no more than a 5 minute walk from lovely dining and theatre ! Underground parking and easy access to 401. Definitely a must for our next Toronto visit. Thanks !

Very good value for the money, conveniently located. The hotel is on one of the main subway lines, you can get to downtown Toronto in 25 minutes or so - the cab to the airport took about 35 mins. The place is nice, clean and quiet, has a very decent restaurant, I really enjoyed my stay.

Please do not be fooled when it says "Downtown Toronto" it's not. This is North York, which should also be called Chinatown. You have to take the subway 30 minutes to get to Downtown to see the sites like the CN tower and Rogers Centre. The hotel was great and the price was even better. I was glad we had a chance to use the subway, we are no experts. […] For the price, great. Bar is awesome and the food was splendid. Just be warned you are not in downtown Toronto. Mehr

The hotel looks sleek from the outside, but on the inside, when you look closely, its shabbiness starts to appear. Little things.Non-functioning computers in the lobby. In the gym, no paper towels in the dispenser; no disinfectant in the bottle, stains by the water fountain that would come up with a bit of elbow grease; a broken gym bench. Reminds me […] somewhat of "5 star" hotels I've stayed in on the Black Sea. Everything sparkles until you really start to look. One wonders why the manager of this place can't do a thorough walk through and correct these minor defects. It is not rocket science, and it makes a world of difference to a frequent traveler. Mehr

My friend and I took a short three day vacation to Toronto for a concert, Blue Jays game, CN Tower experience, museum, etc. We looked at many hotels but decided on Novotel Toronto North York because of its positive reviews and closeness to the subway. Downtown Toronto hotels are either expensive or old and cheap. Hotels near the airport are more reasonably […] priced however they are very far from everything. Novotel was reasonably priced, in a great area, and downtown easily accessible. I was very impressed with the modernness and cleanliness of the entire hotel. The lobby was clean, inviting, and included a restaurant and business centre to print off our boarding pass. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Other hotels tend to show you wonderful images of their rooms but when you arrive you find out those rooms aren't really the rooms for everyone. They're a display room they had renovated just for photos. At Novotel, the room looked exactly like it did in photos. It was modern, clean, and comfortable. I have never stayed in a hotel this nice. My room seriously felt like a condo suite. My view was amazing and I had a chair and table to sit at. The window treatments were contemporary and the wall was curved. Classy. The TV was a large flat screen LCD/Plasma and the desk was a dark wood. The carpets were clean. The bathroom was styled nicely and was clean. My king size bed was so comfortable I could have slept all day! I've stayed in some hotels where the bed felt like a 'hotel' bed. Not here. They had a stocked mini-fridge but obviously didn't touch anything or I would be charged because everything has a sensor. I would have liked my own fridge in the room for my own drinks and things instead of the one with stuff that I couldn't touch. It sucked having a fridge there but not being able to use it. Novotel Toronto North York is very convenient to North York district and more importantly to the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC )Subway/ underground on Yonge Street with a direct link from the hotel to the TTC through the adjoining office tower. Great restaurants one-half block away on Yonge Street, but more importantly direct link to downtown Toronto […] and east and west Toronto on all the TTC Subway train lines. Would be nice if they had a shuttle bus to the airport... Mehr

We were very satisfy with the hotel and staff, the only thing I thought was over price was the Evian water and the beer to pay over 17.00 with taxes was honestly to much.

Thanks to the folks at the Front Desk for taking care of my problem. I have an eye problem that requires an eye drop that must be kept cold. So I was bugging them twice a day to pull the drop out of the fridge behind the Front Desk. They were very helpful, and even cheerful, in spite of the extra work imposed by me. Our room was freshly refurbished, quite large, and very comfprtable, as well as sparkling clean. We will stay there again. B. & J. Ortega

Really poor wi-fi, not enough power to get signal even with booster supplied by the hotel. They went out of their way to supply internet with no success. Very friendly staff and great food from room service. If not for the wi-fi issue, I would stay there whenever it Toronto.

We recently visited Toronto & spend 3 nights at Novotel. While the reception area and restaurant appear to have been updated, the hotel room needs some improvements. The bathroom needs to be upgraded and the walls can use a new paint job. Overall, the hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Metro -- which […] can take you downtown. The hotel room size is quite small. Mehr

The people at the main desk were very friendly and most importantly very efficient. The staff in the restaurant bent over backward to ensure all our needs were met. Clean comfortable rooms. We would most definitely recommend the Novotel North York hotel.

The hotel was in a very convenient location, a decent amount of restaurants around, the subway is conveniently located in the building that houses the hotel, and there is a mall, theater and grocery store directly across the street. The rooms are a bit small compared to your average American hotel, but was very comfortable and clean.

Hotel was easy walking distance to main area attractions (Rogers Centre, Air Canada Centre, Hockey Hall of Fame, CN Tower). Excellent, very clean room. Very nice buffet breakfast (was included with our booking). We were able to leave our car parked (underground) all day after checking out, which allowed us to get to attractions downtown without worrying […] about parking. Overall, compared to other hotels in the downtown area, this was great value. Highly recommended. Mehr

This was the first time we had stayed at this hotel and it was very nice. Close to Toronto amusements and tour bus rides. We would possibly stay there again next year if possible. I had checked out the rates on hotels.com and found the best rates that fit our buget.

This hotel charges me for the items on the refrigerator that I did not consume. The receptionist were rude and needs proper training. The rooms are dirty and noisy outside the room They do not accept complaints. Never go to this hotel

The staff is friendly. The proximity to a small indoor mall is great in terms of breakfast and lunch. The indoor pool is really small, and the fitness area in general could use some work. The general area is congested with much traffic and construction. It can be difficult to find a parking spot in the indoor garage adjacent to the hotel. The rooms were clean and the decor was very nice. The view I had was great. The front desk staff was very courteous and professional.

I found the room lacking in lighting.(there were a variety of light fixtures, but none bright enough to read by) The duvet cover provided one layer that proved too warm. (no layering of sheets and blankets) The woman who registered me at the desk was very difficult to understand due to a very thick accent. She was, however, trying to be very help […] ful.. Mehr
