"Großes, modernes Apartment"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 23. Feb. 2013Die große Apartmentanlage befindet sich in einem Gewerbegebiet in der Nähe des Flughafens. Die Apartments selbst sind groß und modern eingerichtet. Die Küchenutensilien muss man bei der Rezeption extra anmieten. Wenn man das weiß, kann man sich darauf einstellen und entweder selbst etwas mitbringen und im Supermarkt eingekauftes zubereiten oder gleich auswärts essen. Dazu eignet sich z.B. das große Einkaufszentrum "Plenilunio", welches nur ca. 10 Minuten entfernt, alles bietet, was man benötigt:großen Supermarkt, Geschäfte zum Shoppen und Restaurants/Cafes. Die Reinigung der Apartments erfolgt täglich und ist ausreichend. Dass man ein langes schwarzes Haar im Bad findet, was definitiv nicht ein eigenes ist, muss man wohl überall verschmerzen, macht aber natürlich leider keinen so guten Eindruck... Das Ein-/und Auschecken funktionierte reibungslos. Wie schon in einigen Kritiken zu dieser Apartmentanlage geschrieben wurde, sind die Wände und Decken zwischen den Apartments nicht besonders dick, sodass leider alles etwas hellhörig ist. Das kostenlose Parken in der Umgebung ist für uns jederzeit möglich gewesen. So war es nicht nötig, die kostenpflichtige Tiefgarage zu benutzen. Da wir uns nur in der Umgebung des Flughafens(zum Planespotten) aufhielten und keine öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel benutzten, kann ich nichts zur Anbindung an die City sagen. Alles in allem, kann man diese Apartmentanlage aufgrund des guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses empfehlen.

"Hotel ideal um morgens wegzufliegen."

Ideal also falls der Flieger morgens losgeht. Wie es in unserem Fall war. Um Madrid zu erkunden gibt es geeignetere Hotels.

"Lautes Hotel, hellhörige Zimmer, gute Lage"
Das Hotel ist innen sehr schön renoviert worden, aber sehr, sehr laut. Ab 7 Uhr morgends hört man die Küche oder Straße, das Schlagen der Zimmertüren, beim Nachbarzimmer das Stühlerücken und das Verschieben der Betten von den Putzfrauen auf dem Laminatboden. Alles sonst war gut nur zu laut, laut und laut, daher wer Ruhe will, nicht zu empfehlen. SMAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"Preisleistungsverhältnis des Hotels Medium Cortez"
Das Hotel Medium Cortezo liegt sehr zentral und fussläufig zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bei Bedarf ist eine Metrohaltestelle wenige Minuten entfernt. Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung, kein Luxus aber für den Preis ehr o.k..Allerdings wird es den Zimmern zur Strasse abends/nachts sehr laut, da die Madrilenen jedenfalls im Sommer die Nacht zum Tage machen. […] Wenn man lärmempfindlich ist, sollte man lieber ein Zimmer zum Innenhof nehmen, da hat man zwar keine Sonne im Zimmer, aber sicher mehr Ruhe nachts. Ich fand die Zimmer auch nicht düster, meine Reisebegleitung wollte aber lieber ein Zimmer mit (direktem) Tageslicht. Zu empfehlen ist auch die Dachterasse des Hotels. Wir haben dort ein Mal mitgebrachte Tapas verzehrt, das war sehr stimmungsvoll. Außer uns war dort kein Mensch. Ach ja, wer´s braucht, um die Ecke ist auch ein Lidl!. Aber in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es auch ein paar kleinere Läden, in denen man gekühlte Getränke, Obst etc. kaufen kann. Alles in Allem bietet das Hotel ein sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. "Top!"
Wir haben 4 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht und den Aufenthalt durch und durch genossen. Warmes Wasser, saubere Zimmer (und modern!), und ein tolles Frühstück. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Atmosphäre insgesamt ist angenehm. Dachterasse mit Blick über ganz Madrid...inklusive spektakulärem Sonnenuntergang. Das einzige was ein bisschen gestört […] hat war die ziemlich laute Klimaanlage, die bei den Temperaturen in Madrid im Sommer jedoch nötig ist :-). Liegt sehr zentral, ca. 5 Gehminuten von der Plaza del Sol und 15 Gehminuten von Atocha. Direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite ist ein Kino. Fazit: Super Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. The hotel's location in relation to the city's main sights is its best feature. There are stunning views from its roof terrace. Service by reception staff was adaquate but misleading and contradictory on occasions. Breakfast is basic and expensive at the full price or 10 euros.( We were offered a half price deal but even at 5 euros it wasn't good value). […] I agree with other reviewers that the beds are not that comfortable and the walls are indeed very thin and not at all soundproof. The decor is a little Ikea-like but every area of the hotel is exceptionally clean. However, my biggest gripe was the lack of natural daylight. Our room was on one side of a very narrow and high quadrangle and in order to know what the weather was like and therefore what to wear I had to consult the weather forecast on my ipad as I couldn't see the sky through the window! "Nice hotel, but request an inside room!!"
I like the Medium Cortezo and have stayed there previously. The location is great and the price is very reasonable. However, I have some advice and that is ask for an inside room! When I say that I mean ask for a room that DOES NOT face the street! There is a nightclub below the hotel and the party goes on literally all night. Even with the windows […] closed, the noise was quite loud and it was impossible to sleep (for me anyway, my partner slept through most of it). People down on the street could be heard talking, laughing, shouting, singing, etc, and horns blowing, sirens. All of this went on nonstop until about 5 or 6 am when it finally got quiet. If you're a party person, thats great go on down and join the party! If you want to get some sleep, take my advice and request an inside room! I do like the Medium Cortezo. Both times I have stayed there the rooms were very nice and clean. However, the nightclub noise is unbearable and it could negatively impact your stay. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

It was my first time in Madrid and I wasn't sure where to stay. I landed and had no hotel so I booked this in a hurry because of the price and free wifi. It turned out great! 5 minute walk from Puerta del Sol, and a nightclub next door. Very clean hotel and nice staff. I had an overnight stay in Madrid and selected this hotel based on price and location. It was about two blocks from Plaza del Sol - a quick walk. Though the actual block this was on was not the nicest in the area. There was a nighclub next door and noise was heard from my room though not enough to be an annoyance. The bath was not updated but not ancient […] either. Breakfast buffet was very good. Overall it was acceptable but if I had a longer stay I may look closer to the central area. Good no frills hotel in a excellent location. Room was small, breakfast was great, and the hotel amenities did not make the hotel a place to enjoy leisure time. The hotel was clean and friendly staff. The only inconvenience was that the hotel room don't have security box, iron and iron table. The shower is too small, but if you want to stay in a place that is close to Sol station and walking distance from Plaza Mayor, El Corte Ingles and some others touristic places... "Great choice"
I checked out about 30 hotels on-line & was thrilled with my choice. It was a great central location near or walking distance to everything. The room was big, clean, quiet and comfortable. With a closet & tables, there was plenty of space to occupy. We also enjoyed the rooftop balcony. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. "Great Location! Would return!"
The rooms were great, modern and just as pictured. Our room was quiet and overlooked an inner courtyard which was perfect because you had the opportunity for natural light or great dark curtains for siesta. The mattresses are a bit noisy, but it didn't hinder my rest. Staff was pleasant and helpful, our rooms were ready early and the location is absolutely […] ideal. While this hotel has some very strong strengths; location, cleanliness, helpful staff, it has the thinnest walls ever. Problematic because even if you have quiet neighbors (we did NOT) the property is adjacent to the stage of the neighboring theater, currently showing a raucous vaudeville review. "Good location but you won'r be able to sleep!"
We choose this hotel because the location was good. The hotel was in an OK condition and the room was clean but it was impossible for us to be able to sleep!!! The room was like an OVEN! even with all the windows WIDE opened and the air conditioner on (which it was worse than a small fan and never manage to provide fresh cold air)...plus the matress […] are covered with a plastic layer which makes you sweat all night. "Right in the center of Madrid."
This hotel was very affordable and great for location. The staff was very helpful and made our visit pleasant. It is in walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. "GOOD CENTRAL HOTEL"
This hotel was good value and is in an excellent location, 2 mins walk from the Plaza Mayor in the centre of Madrid. The Royal Palace is a 10 minute walk away and there are numerous restaurants in the area. A great hotel for couples wanting to sightsee in Madrid. "Hotel meduim Cortezo"
Fantastic location. Very modern, clean and comfortable for a city hotel in a city location. The room was quiet due to inside location so no view at all but this didn't matter to us. The breakfast was great value at 10 euros. Staff helpful. This hotel was fantastic value for money. If you stay in this hotel, make sure to ask for a room on the opposite of the hotel away from their night club / theater. Otherwise it's extremely loud and you'll get no sleep whatsoever. There is a club and a theater within the same building of this Hotel. The walls are not sound proof, therefore you can hear EVERYTHING! It is so loud you feel like you're in the theater. This went on all night till about 5am. They booked us in the wrong room on purpose right next to the club so they can buy themselves time to switch us to a quieter […] room. We spent two days transferring our belongings. The second room was just as loud. You can hear the elevator go up and down every time. Practically everything that is interesting for a tourist visiting Madrid is within no more than 15 minutes walking distance, and so there is no need to take the metro subway at all. A short walk to Puerto de Sol, Placa Mayor, Placa Saint Ana and the Old Town, and no more than 10 to 15 minutes to the Big Three Museums. Restaurants are abundantly available […] all round the hotel. The hotel room is comfortable and reasonably spacious for a 3-star hotel, and very clean and neat. It was impossible to connect to the hotel wi-fi though, and the hotel computer is snail slow. "Medium Cortezo Hotel, very clean and convenient"
