Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Hotel ist nicht sehr neu und auch nicht luxuriös, aber gepflegt und nett. Es hat einen kleinen beheizten Outdorr Pool plus superheißen Outdoor Hot Tub! Herrlich! Die Räume sind amerikanisch groß, der Komfort gut. Die Snowmass Mall mit Sportgeschäften und Restaurants ist eine Minute entfernt. Dort kann man beim FourMountainSports, oder anderen Läden, Skier und Zeug ausleihen. Und von der Mall kann man dann direkt auf die Piste und zum Village Express Lift runterfahren. An der Mall gibt es auch eine Bushaltestelle für z.B. freie Shuttlebusse nach Aspen. Ich denke, alles in allem super Preis-Leistung für Snowmass/Aspen!

Das Hotel war besser als wir uns von den vorhergegangenen Bewertungen erhofft hatten. Auf der Suche nach einer erschwinglichen Unterkunft in Aspen und Umgebung sind wir auf dieses Hotel gestossen. Die Lage zum Skifahren ist optimal, Zugang zur Piste in Snowmass ist direkt vom Hotel aus möglich und vor der Tür fährt der kostenlose Bus nach Aspen und zu den anderen beiden Skigebieten. Ausserdem ist die Snowmass Mall mit zahlreichen Geschäften und Skiverleihen nur 3-4 min zu Fuss zu erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und es gab ein ordentliches Bad mit Badewanne. Die Betten waren ein bisschen weich aber trotzdem ganz gut. Wir haben das Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht, was fürs Skifahren ganz angenehm war. Der vor Ort Preis für das Frühstück ist allerdings recht saftig für das relativ eingeschränkte Angebot (Europäer werden die fehlende Brotauswahl sowie das Fehlen von Marmeladen, Käse und Wurst vermissen - dafür gibt es reichlich bacon, eggs und sausage). Insgesamt würden wir dieses Hotel empfehlen und auch wieder hierher kommen.
Lage
Hotel Jerome, An Auberge Resort in Aspen ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für viele Winteraktivitäten. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten und Attraktionen: Isis Theatre sowie Aspen Mountain und Skigebiet Buttermilk Mountain. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Wheeler Opera House und Mill Street Fountain.
Ausstattung

The Hotel staff were amazing - very friendly and welcoming. We brought along our dog and they had a dog bed and bowls waiting for her in the room. "Loved the Hotel Jerome"
We had a wonderful time in Aspen. The Hotel Jerome is a lovely hotel and the staff was outstanding. We can't wait to return! It's a must stay if you're in Aspen.

"I wouldn't stay here again"
It's too old. The heat was either unbearable or if it was off it was 30 degrees. I felt like I got nickeled and dimed for everything there. It took me 1 hour to ORDER room service. at first they were busy and needed to call back. Then after 30 min of waiting they called. I tried ordering but I had an old menu. They sent someone to bring a menu and then […] I called back down and had to wait longer to order. It was a nightmare. The shower wasn't hot (just warm enough to not be cold.) I usually stay at the saint Regis and I don't think im going to stay anywhere else now. Trust me the extra couple hundred at saint Regis gos a long way. Mehr

"Great staff & location"
We had a great experience at the Jerome. Friendly staff all around. The $30 resort fee is annoying, but at least they don't charge to vallet your car or for coffee at the lounge. The room was spacious - bed and linens were amazing - but it wasn't cozy. Maybe a little side table by the arm chair (which could've been a love seat) to put a drink down when […] you're watching tv, or getting ready to go out would've helped. Mehr

"Great for Aspen"
We stayed off season and found a good deal. Older hotel but nicely maintained. Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was. very good but service a bit slow. Overall highly recommended.

"Savor the Experience"
Used to stay here in the mid 70's. Thank goodness someone spent the time & $$ to renovate the Jerome to it's former glory. Facility, pool, rooms, bell, valet, housekeeping, concierge, front desk staff, restaurant, bar & location are all top notch! Had spent a night here on the way to Denver, upon returning a week later, staff had a placed a "Welcome […] Back" cheese/dried fruit/crackers/chocolate plate in our room. Totally unexpected & greatly appreciated! The Hotel Jerome is one of those "Jems" in one of the great small towns of the world! Try to stay here at least once in your lifetime, you'll always savor it! I just hope I have the opportunity to return! Mehr

"Asen's Hotel Jerome"
Beautiful old hotel However the service was non-existant. My husband splurged for this hotel since it was my birthday, it definitely was not worth the money. After we'd been in our room for 45 minutes, we finally called the front desk and asked them to send our luggage up. When the bellman arrived,we asked him about some kind of magazine or dining guide. […] He said he'd have one sent up. Again, we waited and waited. So, we just left and found a nice restaurant for dinner. When we returned, we still didnt have any information about the area. We called again and they finally brought a magazine which was mostly advertisements for shops!! We'll try another hotel next time. Mehr
"Classic Hotel in Great Setting"
Classic old hotel on main street in Aspen has all the amenities of a high end resort, blending 19th century style with 21st century conveniences. Standard rooms are very big (suite sized in most hotels), very well appointed and very comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly without being pushy.

Great hotel, great staff. I read mixed reviews going in, this is a "historic" hotel, not a trendy hotel, keep that in mind. The room was very big and very well done and the location was great. I would definitely stay here again.

The Jerome combines wonderful historic atmosphere with outstanding service and an excellent room. The decor in the room was excellent and it was one of the most comfortable rooms, bed included, I have experience. Highly recommended.

Will return and stay here again and again! I am all about the bed, pillows, sheets, etc. INCREDIBLE! I even wrote down the name of the pillows and sheets and will be buying as soon as we get home. Stay here while in Aspen! Best Hotel experience in years!

"Hotel Jerome - Great get away"
My wife and had a weekend get away weekend and could not have asked for a better reception with the team @ The Hotel Jereome. Very friendly ! The JBar is awesome with a great old west theme, cold beer and excellent burgers !!
"The Hotel Jerome - Watch out for ghosts"
The Hotel Jerome was built in the late 1800's and is a historic building in Aspen. A new additon was added in the 1990's but kept the same architecural style as the older part of the hotel. If you are looking for contemporary style then you may want to try someplace else, but if you are looking for an authentic experience then we highly recommend the […] Hotel Jerome. We had 2 one bedroom suites in the newer section of the hotel and they were some of the biggest hotel rooms we've stayed in. The second night of our stay we were having drinks in the bar and struck up a conversation with the bartender who told us about several of the "ghosts" that inhabit the original building. I was quite amused but my wife and 21 year old daughter were convinced that our rooms were haunted! Needless to say we survived the experience with some good stories to tell. The town of Aspen is in a valley surrounded by some of the prettiest scenary in Colorado. The Maroon Bells are nearby and if you like outdoor activity there is plenty of opportunity for cycling, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, rafting, climbing, horseback riding and great food and drink. "Jerome Hotel in Aspen"
We were especially pleased at recommendations given to us at the desk, restaurants, hiking and biking trails. Breakfasts were very expensive but in a lovely, old room. We asked for a lot of help, storing and retrieving bicycles, getting extra ice and silverware, etc. So when we gave a 5 for service, we meant it.

Beautiful hotel with the most friendly, helpful staff! My only complaint was the bed, it could, considering the hotel rate, have a a more comfy bed, ie. down comforter or feather bed.

A small historic hotel with big, well appointed rooms. Service was excellent. The only complaint is that there didn't seem to be much justification for the daily resort fee on top of the already expensive rates.
