tolles Frühstück. Allerdings sollte Kaffee und Tee auch auf Selbstbedienung umgestellt werden. Hotel eignet sich auch für Menschen, die sich gerne zu Fuß oder öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln bewegen. Promenade zum Joggen nur wenige Meter entfernt.

wir hatten 4 Nächte im Cotswod House und haben es sehr genossen. Freundlicher Service, leckeres Frühstück, etwas abseits der Stadt aber einige interessante Dinge vor Ort. Große Empfehlung.

Sehr zentral, gute Lage, gutes Hotel. Das frühstück war etwas einseitig aber dennoch nett, die Lage ist zentral, nahe des Green Markets und anderen guten Shoppingmöglichkeiten. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage jedoch war es nicht das ruhigste Hotel, was weniger mit Gästen als mit Straßenverkehr oder anderen Touristen in der Ärea zu tun hatte. Allen in allem gutes Hotel. Wer ein leichter schläfer ist sollte vielleicht Ohropax einpacken.

"Billig, gute Lage aber Kakerlakenverseucht"
Das Drehrestaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen, super Essen, Service und Ausblick. Leider ist das Hotel sehr alt, Zimmer klein und Kakerlakenverseucht.
Eher lärmig durch Ventilation, Kompressoren? Sonst eher zufrieden.
"Der Aufenthalt war so la, la..."
Das Hotel ist mittlerweile total überaltert. Da müssten dringendst ein paar Renovationen gemacht werden. Das Bad im Zimmer ist mehr wie überaltert und den Lift hört man Tag und Nacht. Zum Glück war der Preis nicht überrissen. Das Frühstück war gut aber in absolut ungemütlicher Atmosphäre. Auch die Bediehnung dort lässt zu wünschen übrig, man ist eben […] nur eine Nummer... Falls es ein nächstes Mal geben wird, werde ich mir die Unterkunft eher in einem kleineren Guesthouse suchen - falls ich überhaupt wiedermal nach Südafrika / Kapstadt reise. Mehr
"Das Cape Town Ritz Hotel liegt nahe am Meer."
Wir waren 3 Nächte in Cape Town und genossen den Aufenthalt im Ritz. Super ist das Restaurant zuoberst mit unglaublicher Aussicht auf Cape Town. Das Morgenessen war auch ein Höhepunkt. Alles in allem war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.

It was a last minute trip & by the time I booked this hotel there weren't many options left. I chose it because of it's location, and the pictures and description didn;'t look so bad on the web. But I was very disappointed. Although the staff was relatively friendly, the room was tiny and we saw 4 cockroaches during our 4 night stay! We spent 5 days in a Delux room in July, the Delux rooms seem to be corner rooms with windows on two sides giving a good view. The rooms showed their age but were clean. The A/C unit was old and noisy and it was the only form of heating. "Cape Town Ritz Hotel"
The hotel reception is lovely and staff helpful. The hotel rooms are not what you see on the website but are average. We stayed on the 10th floor so had lovely views. We had no hot water for three nights we were there and there is no heater in the room and it was cold. The buffet breakfast was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly.

"Barely Fit for Human Habitation"
This hotel is old and while it has been maintained in a safe condition, it must have seen much better days. Doors to rooms have been replaced or repaired with cheap thin wood hollow core doors, and though the doors fit tight, my ID card slipped the door latch. The Hair Dryer was vintage circa 1950's, the box type permanent mount style. The HD tV was […] in the lobby, while the room TV was an old anode that had no cable, or satalite, only broadcast TV. Very low quality. The antiquated room decor and paint was cheap looking, and the hall ways were dimly lit, almost dark. The elevators are on their last legs. Internet service is not free, and is expensive. The hotel charges 30 ZAR per day for casual daytime parking, but for hotel guests, we are captured with a special rate of 50 ZAR because our cars sit overnight in the garage. (we are gone all day). I think this is shameful. I believe internet and parking should be free. I have found other places nicer with free internet, HD TV, and free parking in otherplaces, including the remote karoo. So why not the Capetown Ritz. This brings me to my final criticque......internet searches associate "The Capetown Ritz" with the Ritz (Carlton)....Be warned, "The Capetown RITZ" IS NOT associated with The Ritz Carlton hotels. The best thing going for this hotel is the staff. ALL the staff were friendly and attentive. Very nice and Professional. They deserve better from their employer. Mehr

"like this hotel, except...."
Hi, I had one problem during my stay. After my first night there, I went into the bathroom to take a shower, and saw a large roach crawling on the wall. It appeared to have come out of a small crack between the shower tile and the wall. I hope you will do more to prevent this problem, as I like the hotel otherwise.

Don't expect sth glamourous from the Cape Town Ritz, coz the hotel is worn out to trenches. But it was worth the humble price for 2 we paid/night, the view from the 15th floor was spectacular, the breakfast buffet very satisfying and extensive and the pool refreshing! So, after all: a good price/quality rate.

The hotel is not located right in city center but in Sea Point. However it takes only 5 mins by taxi (and around R30) to get there. "Value for money"
Pros: Front desk staff, tour agency off lobby, full breakfast buffet, safe neighborhood with nearby restaurants and internet places. Cons: Windows leaked in rainstorm. When we notified the staff they came to take a look and said "that always happens in winter" and got a couple extra towels to absorb the water from the window sill and carpet. Cant complain for the price - excellent service and food is good and facilities are good as well. Not far from the main attractions either in Capte Town or The Waterfront. Camps Bay just a few mins down the road as well as the bus stop for the red bus arounf Cape Town. Look at the price you are paying and see if you can get better value. Nabij Waterfront (25 min lopen zonder gevaarlijks gebieden te doorkruisen)Mooi uitzicht, van 2 kanten is het water te zien. Prima ontbijt , aardig personeel. Alleen de Hotelgasten lijken Allemaal te schreeuwen. Ze […] hebben tv en radio superhard aan praten en feesten tot 4 uur in de nacht.Dit was naast ons zo zelfs bij 2 verschillende kamers. Maar als de lift op een andere etage open ging was het ook een enorme herrie.Eetdozen op de gang met afgekloven kippenpootjes. Hoewel het personeel zijn best doet. doen de bewoners dit beslist niet. Svært skuffende opplevelse. Har tidligere hatt god erfaring med samme hotell (3 år siden), men denne gangen var det så dårlig at vi valgte å bytte hotell etter en natt. Kort oppsumert: Veldig slitent hotell, med lav standard. Dårlig rengjøring av rommet (fant hår i vasken og i sengen). Jag har rest väldigt mycket, men Cape Town Ritz. Personalen var mycket trevliga och hjlåsamma, men hotel var smutsigt, mycket oljud, och rök överallt. Man märkte rök i hissar och korridorer. Jag klagade hos hotell management och bytte rum, men det hjälpte inte mycket.

Para inicio da reclamacao o traslado que tinha no anuncio de ida e volta do aeroporto para o hotel gratuito nao existia. Depois os 4 dias de estadia tivemos falta de agua, para tomar banho tinhamos que ligar para a recepcao para vir uma pessoa da manutencao para tirar o ar do encanamento. "Central location, but not international standard."
Happy and friendly staff. Several days without hot water in the shower. Took a long time to be fixed every time, but comfortable beds. Look like it has been a while since there have been done some renovations at the rooms. Charming bar at 21th floor, and a nice pooldeck outside.

Cargo por estacionamiento no incluido. Reciben muchos grupos (contingentes) lo que complica mucho la estadía para los que no estamos en dicho ocntigente (ascensores siempre ocupados, ruidos molestos, instalaciones saturadas, servico decae)

"Ritz i Sea Point, Kapstaden"
Ritz är ett prisvärt hotell i stadsdelen Sea Point. Bra service. Lätt att hitta till då man ser skyskrapan på långt håll.Baren högst upp har fantastisk utsikt liksom de flesta rum. Men, man ska veta om att hotellet börjar bli gammalt och att rummen är är lite slitna.

Echter luister niet te veel naar het gepingel op de piano want mevrouw speelt de hele avond hetzelfde […] repetoir! Maar dat mag de pret niet drukken!
