Ein schönes Hotel in sehr ruhiger Lage. Trotzdem nur 5 Minuten Fußweg zur Einkaufsmeile und zum Flughafen-Bus. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend.

A neat hotel in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to sights to walk. The breakfast, service, staff, etc. were all great. The only disappointment is that the room was very hot at night and the windows only open 3-4 inches.

Location is good and the food is excellent - if you can get a booking for the dining room. The bed was a bit hard and the wifi internet access is 10 years behind the times. The staff were very polite and attentive, especially when they woke us to tell us our 6.30pm taxi was outside - at 6.30am. The hotel has its own parking but beware of being boxed […] in by other vehicles. A good hotel that could be better if more attention were to be paid to details. Mehr

My friend and I were staying for a rugby match in Edinburgh and this hotel was ideally situated 5 mins from the bottom of Princes Street. The hotel was set amongst some lovely buildings and the room was compact yet very good. The service was very good and breakfast lovely (although I would not have wanted to "walk in off the street" and pay £14 for […] the cooked Scottish breakfast which was very small for 2 lads like ourselves!) We needed the other parts of the breakfast to fill ourselves up! Overall, an excellent hotel, very friendly and I would definitely recommend it. Mehr

First time in Edinburgh and couldn't have picked a nicer hotel.The room was lovely and comfortable and we had a great view of the city.The staff were very friendly and helpful and we will definately return to this hotel on our next visit.

A brilliant hotel in a prime location for visitng Edinburgh. The rooms were excellent - minimalistic but with everything you need. The moulton brown in the bathroom was soooo good. Breakfast was excellent and dinner in the hotel restaurant was a very good experience - just the right level of attention. The icing on the cake was being able to park for […] free - not bad for a city location. All in all an excellent trip and we will be back ! Mehr

Lovely small hotel. The location was perfect to park the car in their carpark and walk to restaurants, the castle and most of Edinburghs attractions. The breakfast and service in the restaurant were very profressional.

My wife and I stayed for two nights on a romantic trip to explore the city. The service was excellent, the food wonderful (room service, breakfasts, and a dinner) and overall the hotel was very nice with a lot of character. We were close enough to the sites we wanted to see to walk to all of them but the neighborhood around the hotel was a calm, quiet, […] and attractive residential area. The front desk helped us with a long list of questions and requests over the course of our stay and provided great information and recommendations. Mehr

On the plus side, Bonhams is located in the heart of the West-End. Quiet, refined streets but only 10 mins walk to the heart of the city. The breakfast was good too. On the downside, it's a cheap hotel mascarading as a boutique stay. The small rooms, tacky decor and a poor level of finish were disappointing for such a prestigious location. We arrived […] on a hot day in Edinburgh and our room on the third floor was stifling and very uncomfortable. The shower temperature also fluctuated wildly - from boiling hot to freezing cold - and the level of amenties/freebies in the room wasn't what you'd expect from a top-end hotel. No hairdryer, fan, hair conditioner, sewing kit etc. It's the small things that make a boutique hotel special. Very disappointing overall. Mehr

We loved the tranquil residential feel of The Bonham. The accomodation was pleasant and pristine. We would stay there again.

The Bonham is a delightful boutique hotel on the west side of Edinburgh. The rooms are comfortable and clean. You can walk to the Royal Mile, the Edinburgh Castle and museums in 20 minutes. It was clean and quiet, and the staff are very helpful.

We had a delightful 3 night stay at the Bonham. The decorations were plucky and delightful in the rooms and common rooms. The staff went out of their way to be helpful in all sorts of ways. The location, a short walk from Princes Street was just enough out of the busyness and close enough for easy access. Would recommend highly ans stay there again […] . Mehr

We loved our stay at the Bonham-- nothing too- too, but everything clean and easy. There were nice central areas to relax and enjoy a whiskey or deal with computer business, the rooms were warm and comfortable, the concierges friendly and knowledgeable, and a great location in the west end. We'll go back next time. Well worth the price.

Excellent value for the internet booking rate. Buffet breakfast is very good quality. Close to interesting areas (William St/ Stcklbridge) with restaurants bars and indpendent shops. Room decor and facilities of a very hgh standard. A really good stay.

The hotel was nice enough but it hasn't got a bar though you can have a drink in reception. We though the breakfast at £14.00 per person was a bit expensive and on the 3rdmorning of our stay we had a continental breakfast to our room, the breakfast was very little and not enough for two people one bread roll but no butter we were not impressed with […] that. When we checked out and paid our bill the staff did not ask if we enjoyed our stay or if everything was alright, but they did keep our luggage for a few ours as our flight home was not until the evening. Our room was large with high ceilings with a beautiful view. I panicked when I couldn't find a hairdryer and called the front desk and one was delivered immediately with apologies. The continental breakfast was ample and varied. The restaurant was lovely. We loved our stay at the Bonham and hope to return another time. P.S. The room was quite small for a standard room but very comfortable. There is no air con so it did get very warm if you tried to shut out the light as this also shut out the air from the open window!. I think the larger rooms would be nicer if staying longer than one night.

We booked one of the small rooms which was bigger than expected. The furnishings were fine and the room had a big bay window with great views of the city, with the sea in the distance. The full Scottish breakfast was excellent and the freshly squeezed orange juice delicious. I would be happy to recommend the Bonham and would have no hesitation staying […] there again. Mehr

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. All the rooms are extremely quiet, great for overcoming jet lag. The service from all the employees was outstanding. The hotel is really quite close to the shopping areas of Princes St. and the nearby areas. My only complaint is that the hotel does not have an actual pub/bar although they do serve drinks in the […] lobby. The restaurant is superb. The breakfast buffet was a delight and the cooked breakfasts were equally enjoyable. Mehr

The Bonham was nice and initmate. It was close to the New Town (easy walking distance) and the views of the Firth of Forth (at least from our room) were just great. My wife unofficially declared it her "vista". We had a lovely meal in the restaurant one evening and the brekfast was always nice.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this charming hotel - service was excellent - the dining room was lovely and the breakfast and dinner top notch, and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and had all the amenities.

The hotel is situated in a quiet corner of the West End, just five to ten minutes' walk from the west end of Princess Street. The building is victorian but has been tastefully modernised,without sacrificing its interior elegance. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The only downsides were a slight casualness (the telephone in our room didn't […] work, which turned out to have been a 'known problem') and the service at breakfast, which was a little on the slow side and not especially attentive (coffee refills were not routinely offered and plates not cleared quickly). We ate dinner at the hotel once and were a little disappointed: there was a mistake in the order; the dishes, while good in quality, were over-complicated and certainly overpriced. Nonetheless we enjoyed our stay and would be pleased to recommend the hotel. Mehr

In addition to a beautiful room, I really enjoyed the Bonham restaurant. I very rarely eat in the same restaurant twice when I travel. While not quite as splendid as the Michelin Star rated restaurants I visited in Edinburgh, I happily ate dinner at the Bonham three times during my week stay. This is real value for the money! Not the cheapest hotel one can find, but definitely worth the price! A gem of a modern hotel in renovated adjoining 19th-century townhouses, facing a lovely garden, in a quiet neighborhood, only a short walk from Princes Street. Private off-street car park a real plus (although space is limited, and offered on a first-come, […] first-served basis). Mycket prisvärt Hotell i lugnt område men väldigt nära till shopping ooch sevärdheter. Suverän Frukost. Ägg benedict var en riktig fullträff. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

I don´t have anything bad saying about Bonham! Hotel was very nice. Room was very tidy and comfortable with awesome view to city. Breakfast was perfect - everything to everybody. Staff was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay at Bonham!
