Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Unser Fenster blickte direkt auf den Nordeingang der Klosterkirche Morimondi. Das Zimmer war ungewöhnlich groß und hätte Platz für eine große Familie geboten, sogar mit Babybett und behindertengerechtem Badezimmer. Unser Anliegen war es, das Kloster zu besichtigen. Es war ausgesprochen interessant.

Einfach schön! Die Nähe zur Superstrade war nicht zu spüren, die Angestellten im Hotel super nett, auch ohne ein Wort Italienisch.Einfach perfekt und empfehlenswert. Tipp: Mailand ist mit dem Zug in 25 Minuten für 3€ pro Person zu erreichen

Mailands Hauptbahnhof besitzt aufgrund seiner in Marmor gehaltenen Hallen und Galerien sowie seiner Mosaikfußböden monumentalen Charakter. Er ist Norditaliens größter und geschäftigster Bahnhof und dürfte wohl Europas schönster Bahnhof überhaupt sein. Viele internationale Züge und Hochgeschwindigkeitszüge halten hier, und auch die Innenstadt ist dank der Metro gut zu erreichen. Ganz in der Nähe ragt der Wolkenkratzer Grattacielo Pirelli in den Himmel, der Mailands höchstes Gebäude und ein Symbol für den Wohlstand der Stadt ist.

Ich war mit einer Freudin vom 02.04. bis zum 05.04. in Mailand. Unsere Wahl fiel auf das Amadeus, da es in umittelbarer Nähe zum Hbf liegt (die Nähe haben wir zwar nicht gebraucht, aber gut). Beim Empfang wurden unsere Personalien aufgenommen und meine Kreditkartennummer auf einen Notizzettel (als Pfand) geschrieben und wir durften ins Zimmer. Die Zimmer […] sind sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, die Bausubstanz darf hinterfragt werden. Im Bad gab es nachdem wir geduscht hatten immer eine Sinnflut, da es keine Duschvorhänge gibt, die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, sowohl zur Straße hin als auch zu den Nachbarzimmern. Nach der ersten Nacht erfolgte dann die Schlappe beim Frühstück, wenig Angebot, verpackte Kekse, künstiche Säfte und süße Stücke, keine Wurst, kein Käse, kein Brot, sondern kleine Semmeln. Der Kaffee war jedoch ausgezeichnet. Es gibt nur wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten zum Frühstück, sodass ein langes Verweilen im Speißesaal nicht möglich war, aber auch nicht nötig war, da es eh nicht viel Auswahl zum Essen gab. Gäste mussten warten, wenn alle Plätze belegt waren oder sich zu anderen Gästen an den Tisch dazu setzen oder ihren Kaffee im Stehen trinken. Immerhin konnte das Personal Englisch, was wir an anderen Ecken in Mailand nicht unterschreiben können. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht nochmals aufsuchen. Die Übernachtungen waren günstig, aber für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel haben wir etwas anderes erwartet. Schade. Mehr

Die Lage des Hotels in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof und zur U-Bahnstationen sowie die Sauberkeit und der Service sind hervorzuheben. "Lage und Zimmerbewertung des Hotels"
Das Hotel Amadeus liegt 5 min Fußweg vom Hauptbahnhof und sämtlichen Metrostationen entfernt.. Demnach kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr schnell und bequem erreichen. Das Zimmer war komfortabel eingerichtet und hatte ein sehr schönes Marmorbad. Zudem war das ganze Hotel sehr sauber und ruhig, trotz der unmittelbaren Lage an einer befahrenen Straße. "Nettes Hotel in super Lage"
Wir wollten nur eine günstige Schlafgelegenheit in Mailand finden und haben uns trotz der relativ mittelmäßigen Bewertungen für dieses Hotel entschieden. Gute Wahl! Das Frühstück ist wirklich spärlich - darüber kann man hinwegsehen.... die Sauberkeit absolut gegeben, das Personal sehr freundlich - der Herr Rezeptionist ein wenig gestresst, letztendlich […] aber dann doch sehr nett. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Hauptstraße raus - wenn die Fenster zu waren, war nichts zu hören - also auch kein Minuspunkt. Ein wenig gestört hat allerdings das Aufzugsgeräusch des Motors - gegen 23 Uhr war damit dann aber auch Schluss, weil schlichtweg keiner mehr gefahren ist - oder nur wenige... Die Verkehrsanbindung war perfekt. Die U-Bahn eine Gasse weiter, der Bahnhof ebenfalls - also Anreise ohne Taxi absolut kein Problem. Zu Fuß sind wir in 30 Minuten ins Zentrum spaziert - also auch super! Die Bahnhofsnähe ist absolut kein Nachteil wegen den "zweifelhaften" Menschen - die gab es in ganz Mailand - also auch kein Problem. Wir haben in der Nähe (2 Gassen weiter) in einer Parkgarage für 24,- pro Tag das Auto geparkt - man konnte dort nur persönlich bei einem netten Herren bezahlen - also auch noch gut geschlafen - ohne Diebstahlängste. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die VIA MADONNINA - dort sind die ganzen kleinen Gassen mit Restaurants usw... Ich würde wieder buchen! Mehr

"Das Hotel Amadeus in Mailand..."
liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes und bietet alles was man braucht. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich, die Fenster gut verschließbar und isoliert, das Badezimmer hat leider keinen Duschvorhang und die Heizung darin ging nicht aus, ansonsten fühlt man sich aber sehr wohl und das Personal ist professionell und freundlich. Auch das Frühstück […] war vielseitig und gut. Besonders aufgrund der optimalen Anbindung an das Verkehrsnetz würde ich in diesem Hotel auch gern wieder wohnen. Mehr
"Hotel Amadeus liegt ziemlich zentral"
Gefallen hat uns am Hotel nicht: - Hotelrezeption nicht gerade freundlich - sehr warme Zimmer, das Fenster konnte man nicht offen lassen, da es genau an einer sehr lebhaften Straße lag. - das Frühstück sehr karg. Kam man um 8.30 Uhr zum Frühstücken war alles verlesen und wurde auch nicht nachgefüllt.

"Gute Connectivity zum Bahnhof und Zentrum"
Positiv: - Das Hotel ist sehr zentral: 5 Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof, 20 Gehminuten vom Zentrum + an Shoppingmeile (Corso Buenos Aires) bis Zentrum - Günstig - Personal zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit Negativ: - Frühstücksbuffet variantenarm - Wenige Abstellflächen im Zimmer und Badezimmer. Fazit: Für den günstigen Preis sollten die Erwartungen/Ansprüche […] zurückgeschraubt werden. Das Frühstück konnte uns nicht überzeugen, sowie das Badezimmer. I stayed at Hotel Amadeus in Milan for three nights in april 2012 and was satisfied with my visit. The hotel is located very close to the central train station, but a long walk from the center near the Duomo area. The staff were friendly and could speak English. Breakfast was included in the stay, but it was quite sparse as in many other southern European […] countries. The room was OK, but it was quite odd that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. It meant the bathroom floor was completely wet after a shower. My overall impression was that it was an average hotel. Mehr

The Amadeus is conveniently located a few hundred yards from Milan main train station, the room was clean and reasonably comfortable, and the staff are helpful and courteous. However, while breakfast was included in the price, I recommend not to expect Amadeus to deliver. I understand catering are apparently unable to provide sufficient food for all […] their guests consistently, as I have witnessed a near to empty breakfast buffet on one occasion. On my challenge the hotel staff told me this was due to a, quote : "high demand of food from the guests" and I was advised to, quote : "come to breakfast earlier". It takes just 3 to 5 min of walk from Milan Central Station. Great location! It looks old, but room is clean and well maintained. Staff at reception was really kind, I asked lots of questions and had lots of requests regard travel adapter, internet and printing etc but he was always willing to help. "Captain Grumpy"
Extremely gruff staffperson at check-in set a poor tone for what turned out to be an otherwise satisfactory stay. To get CNN (the only English language channel available) you have to get out of digital TV mode. TV reception even for the digital channels was poor - constantly cutting out.

Now it´s several years that I use to come and stay at the Amadeus . The service is good , the service as well , and very well located , when you want to go out it´s very near the under ground , and has a lot of good restaurants very near also . Then when your are coming , and going back to the airport , you have all the busses you can wish to have very […] near . So you will never need using taxis . Then they have a breakfeast which is ok . It's an okay place to stay for a night or two if you want to be close to Centrale station. The rooms are of okay size for European hotels, has the expected amenities like cable TV, shampoo and blowdryer, but oddly missing any kind of shower curtain or guard so water splashes all over the bathroom as you take a shower. While it's a non-smoking hotel, […] it's clear people have smoked in the room as the stench is very strong. The mattress was on the hard side but some people might like that. The breakfast had a good selection but on my morning the croissants were stale. They charge for wifi. Despite some noise problems (not really the fault of hotel management) we would return to the Amadeus Hotel at the Central Train Station in Milan. Location was excellent, just around corner from train station and right on the green and yellow subway lines. Hotel was basic but clean, breakfast was your standard Italian continental breakfast with yogurt […] and hard boiled eggs thrown in for good measure. Noise from hallways (slamming doors), but not bad enough to stay away. And management stopped other hotel guests who thought the courtyard was their personal echo chamber. Hotel had good location. Room very adequate but I had to ask for another pillow. Breakfast good for Continental Breakfast. TV only had Italian stations (about 20).

We love this hotel for the price, quality for the price, Breakfast, and convenient location to the train station. We use this hotel annually, as a lay over stop.
"Amadeus Hotel - near Milan Centrale station"
This hotel is convenient being right next to Milan's Centrale railway station. However, it has 1 major floor - each room has a vent which connects it to all the other rooms. One the first night I stayed, one of the rooms on my floor had 3/4 people in which were having a party. I could hear their conversations word for word. Being 4am in the morning, […] having been woken up by this group coming home, I wasn't impressed. After an hour of this I went down to reception, and the night receptionist came up with me and asked them to keep the noise down, but even wiht the noise down, because the vents were connected, there was no muffling of noise at all. Breakfast is the usual continental style, rolls & cheese, boiled eggs, fresh coffee. Get there reasonably early (i.e. before 9) to make sure you have the pick of the spread. Luggage room is useful if you've got a late flight! Staff were courteous, and were it not for the noise issues, this would be a perfectly acceptable hotel. Mehr

Very convenient location. Hotel is literally around the corner from the Stazione Centrale, Milan's main railway station. This is a very convenient location if you plan to travel to nearby cities by rail. Also, the hop on/hop off bus for Milan stops just down the street, directly across from Stazione Centrale. The shuttle to/from Malpensa Airport also […] leaves from the Stazione Centrale. The room was clean and comfortable. Good selection was served at breakfast. Hotel staff are polite and speak good English. "Great location"
About one block from Milano Centrale, lots of restaurant and bar choices. Front of hotel room was a little noisy from the street but I had no problem with it, but could hear clearly the folks in the bathroom next door. Great choice to be near the train station.

Pros: - Clean - Convenient location - 2 blocks from Centrale Train Station - Once asked, the staff was very helpful Cons: - at about 4 or 5 AM there was a lot of noise in the courtyard outside our room. Thankfully, we were very tired and were able to get back to sleep. We cannot comment on the breakfast - we slept right through it.

"Convenient.........But that's about it........"
Located just around the corner from Milan's Central station....which is great when moving around the citys metro and getting the bus to and from the airport. Regarding the hotel.....well...Not much to praise about. The man behind the reception desk was alil rude. He was on the phone at the time of our arrival but continued to talk for another 5 mins, […] completely ignoring us. The Lift in the hotel is very small and very old. barely enough space for 2 people. The breakfast is a nice gesture but not alot of space to sit with all the other guests. The variety of food was lacking and abit strange. but the staff were very nice and the coffe was tasty.....We still had to go around the corner to fill up on some Macdonalds. The rooms are very basic and on the old side. Old Carpet....Green wallpaper....Heavy & Old curtins....Stained Lamp shades. I expected more for the price we were paying. I f I were to visit milan again, I would go back and stay with you. I visit Italy almost every year, my husband is Italian and have friends and kins thetre. Perfectly located, the only downside is that wish we have some frego bar in the romm, some people like my husband, likes to drink fr the bar. "Very close to Stazione Centrale but very quiet."
Excellent location near the Stazione but on a quiet street. Very little noise in room or corridor. However, I like to watch Italian TV when I am on a visit and only CNN and BBC24 were available. Breakfast good, all staff courteous. Good places to eat nearby.

Was a perfect location, but everything in the room was outdated and everything they had wasn't even standard 3 star hotel. the air conditioning air did not feel like air but air recycled without filter, the worst part was i got BED BUGS, the gentlemen at the front desk tried to tell me that i brought them from the train, and made it seem like it was […] all me, i have been riding the train all week and had been in different hotels and did not have that problem, i was there 2 days ago and still have bite marks all over, NOT HAPPY Mehr

Had bad experience with one of the staff whom keeps recommending us to go to a restaurant which is 2 streets away from the hotel. We were tired after a day shopping so we settle our dinner at the Italian restaurant beside the hotel. After that, we were vile treated by this guy when we try to enquire about the WIFI access. The room was dirty and the staff was not very friendly. The location is great. A very easy walk from the Milano Centrale train station. I will not stay at this hotel in the future.

The hotel has a good location but not the best in the area. It's walking distance to the central station. It is good value for money in the area.

GREAT LOCATION, LOCATION. 100 metres from Milan Centrale , Metro and express buses to all three airports, starting at 4.00am. a few metres from many restaurants, 2 McDonalds and a big internet cafe. 24 desk service. Pretty good breakfast. The TV didn't work though, but no problem. You don't go to Mliano for that. Fast elevators.
Breakfast was very poor. Bed sheets and cover old. Bathroom shower needed a curtain. Location is very good for people who want to stay next to central station.

Good value despite a few facts that were not as mentioned on the homepage of the hotel: no minibar in room, no satellite tv (only 5 italian channels), no noise-filtered windows (it was very loud due tothe fact that the hotel faces a big street). but all in all still good value, just a few steps to the main railway station.

The hotel was extremely well placed, close to the centrale train station where the coach from Bergamo airport stops. The hotel was dated, but comfortable and clean. The staff were polite. My room faced onto a central courtyard which acts like an echo chamber, so when the bins from the restaurant downstairs are being emptied at 5am, you hear everything! […] You also get the aroma of cooking as soon as you open your window! My friend has stayed in a room on the other side of the hotel and was woken by the trams! If you want a decent hotel in a convenient location, for a reasonable price, which is clean (always important), then I would recommend Amadeus. Mehr

I found this hotel to be most satisfactory. The staff was friendly and always courteous. The room was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was both substantial as well as excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel either as a one night stopover (easily accessible to both airports and central rail station) or as a well-located […] base for a few days stay in Milan (close to the metro).
