hotel liegt im industriegebiet. ansonsten hat das preis leistungsverhältnis gestimmt.

Hotel ist recht günstig und Lage ist ok, wenn man also auf der Durchreise ist ist es in Ordnung. Internet kostet ca. 4 Dollar pro Tag.. und das im 21. Jahrhundert. Und dann funktioniert es nicht einwandfrei, ist langsam und die Verbindung geht ständig verloren. I would say you get what you pay for. The hotel was convenient, clean and cheap, that's what matters. There are security guards that walk the area. I went there and Sea Otter Classic weekend so the hotel was filled with other bikers. Which was good for me because I didn't have any noisy neighbors since we all were going to bed at the same time.

The room wasn't bad, especially for the price.

Nothing to write home to mom about. Service was nice. Parking is weird.. surrounding area is a truck yard and we woke up to PA systems.

Been coming to this hotel for about 2 years now. So I can say that I have a good idea to describe the hotel. l work here in Salinas but lives 150 miles away . If you're a traveler that carries perishable foods go look somewhere else cause the hotel does not have a small fridge. The hotel is close to 101 freeway, depending on what room you're staying […] and where it is facing, it can be a nuisance for people that are sensitive to noise. Room condition for me it's ok, although there are 4x times in 2 years that I was given a room that are not yet cleaned , as in somebody just used the room and just check out, carpets: I did encounter that they had a general cleaning of all the hotel room carpets last year. And they have also replace a number of their mattresses, for which I also witnessed. I don't smoke and of course I prefer non smoking room, but some of the rooms that I had stayed smelled like someone had smoke. I had never experience or heard something bad happened in the hotel area. However there is now a security guard on the hotel grounds. Internet is not free, you have to pay $3+ for daily access, they got huge parking lot, they can even accommodate several buses and trucks side by side. Staffs are ok, friendly and helpful, as far as I'm concerned. All in all you get what you pay for. If you're just looking for a place to sleep it's a good value. That's why I keep on coming back. We were very positively surprised by Good Nite Inn, Salinas. For the bargain price, we had expected a worn down motel close to a noisy freeway. However, the room was sufficiently large and clean and despite 101 is close by, it was quiet (we were lucky, though, having windows not directly towards the highway but at the side of the house and at the third […] floor). The room is sparsely equipped but it is sufficient for a good sleep. The best motel we have experienced for it s price. Mehr

Clean rooms and decent location. Freeway next to the hotel was a bit of an mess. The breakfast was not very good.

We were satisfied with our room and very happy with the price per nite. This hotel was conveniently located and after a four hour drive, it served as a cheap nites stay prior to our day trip to Monterey. They give you 3 small towls and 2 thin pillows the rooms are not that comforatable and front desk did not respond when i asked them to bring more towels/ pillows. housekeeping only cleans rooms 2 days out of the week so if your not there on those days dont expect a clean room or new towels. AS A LICENSED C-36 CALIFORNIA STATE PLUMBING CONTRACTOR GOING INTO A HOTEL THAT HAD THE SIMPLEST OF MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS. HAIR CLOGS IN BOTH BATHTUB AND LAVATORY SINK DRAINS THAT WERE VERY SLOW DRAINING. MAINTENANCE FOR THE SIMPLEST OF THINGS IS THE "LAST PRIORITY" ON THIER LIST. The desk clerks and especially the manager bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied. We were given a smoking room and first we were told that we could not change, but a non smoking room was found and we were able to move. Booked and paid for one room for two nights and one room for one night. We were having a big family wedding at a near by winery. So between my daughter and I we had a lot of rooms. Unfortunately our room was not cleaned and the other room I paid for also was not cleaned. The desk clerks were very sorry but said two housekeepers did not come in. Fine […] I don't care if bed was not made but trash cans with left over Pizza,no dry towels,no glasses. Also our keys had a problem. I had to go(long way) back and forth to have key rekeyed at least six times. When you are tired, cold and just get in the room, this is a problem.Desk clerks were good but were all alone. I needed a place to stay on my way down to Long Beach from San Jose. I decided to stay here and it was a descent night. The hotel is right off the highway which is nice. It was clean and great for one night.

The staff was great. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer more choices than simply blueberry or chocolate muffins which were almost gone by about 8:00 a.m. Adding some orange juice and maybe apples, oranges or bananas would be very nice. Something a little more healthy than just muffins.

Enjoyed our stay there. Went in spa and off to bed. Would stay there again.

You get only the basics at this hotel, but the rooms are comfortable and quiet, which is all you can ask for at this price.

I booked a three night stay at this hotel through Expedia and read reviews about the hotel being decent. When I checked in the staff seemed bothered by the fact that they had to help a customer. As I checked into my room, it wreaked of cigarette smoke so I phoned the front desk and told them about the situation. They then changed my room to another […] room with 2 queen beds. It smelled ok, but there were crumbs of food on the desk, chair and floor. Once again I phoned the front desk and they switched me to a third room. The third one was nice and clean although I paid for two queen beds and they didn't think I'd notice that the beds were full size. We waited about 30 mins until we were given a clean room with 2 queen beds. The staff did not try to accommodate or give us any type of discount for all our troubles...think twice, that's my advice! The hotel was ok for the rate that i payed, I work in the area and have to stay over 2 or 3 times per week which in a good hotel would be kind of expensive with the budget that I have.. Customer service really bad except for the manager, the other 2 guys working at the reception seem to be mad all the time

Not a nice place. First, when we arrived we had to wait outside in the cold to check in and the person doing the check in was abysmally slow. On, the second day neither my bed was done nor my trash was cleaned up. Won't recommend this to anybody !

Was not a pleasent stay, had to wait for the room even though it was after check in time, I was given a key went to the room and they had no sheets on the bed, cans and paper cups on the desk and the bath room was a mess. after talking to the clerk, I was given a diffrent room but the key machine was broke so someone had to let us in, the room looked […] clean till the next morning while pulling a shoe out from under the bed.......what a mess........ The presence of what seemed to be a security guard walking the grounds the first night made me acutely aware of the marginal surroundings of the hotel. The guard must have had the second night (a Sunday) off because the raucous party in the two rooms next to mine went on unimpeeded until 3 a.m. in the morning! I attempted to call the front desk to get […] management to do something about it, but the phone was broken! Hard for me to believe management could be so unaware of the obvious noise and annoyance to other guests. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times. It is fairly basic, no frills, but fairly clean. Carpeting is old but OK. Has a pool and jacuzzi, but didn't use them. I would stay here again, extremely reasonable, and close to Monterey, about 15-20 min easy drive with gas stations near by and close to 101.

for the price you get way more than expected! They have a pool AND jacuzzi! The room was very clean and the hotel also served continental breakfast! All at a very low price :)

the hotel room is better than those comments but i still think it can be better: a/ the ventilation fan to be more efficient - as i can smell smells from some other rooms b/ the tv should be sharp and clear, it is very close to that after our request but not as sharp as it should be c/ the electric switch outside the bath is not working too well the […] ladies and men working there are all polite overall, i would recommend it to friends with a limited budget. Very Disappointed. The rudness of the manager there is very unacceptable. We have workers in the area and we booked this hotel and each time the complaints were the same. We will not be staying there again and would not recommend this place.

It was a good place to sleep for the cost. Kids loved the hot tub and pool even at nite in Dec. The room was put in order each day. Had to arrive early to get coffee and muffin because it was good.

It appeared to me that most of the occupants were long-term family residents. This was a bit unnerving because of the caliber of the characters loitering about. The lobby hours were very shortened, which was rather inconvenient. And when we ran out of toilet paper, they did not have any on the office.

I have staid here before but some how this stay was really bad they had me waiting and waiting to b helped and I had asked for a room far away from the noise so I could have a peace and quiet night and they didn't, the house keeping didn't clean out the room wen we asked they just made the bed n that's all they didn't put nothing or anything new up […] and they just left all the rags all over the floor. After reading some of the other reviews I was very worried about booking a room here. the hotel, however, wasn't bad at all! The property is in an industrial location but it is well-lit. Our room looked clean. Bathroom worked just fine. We survived!
