Herrliches Hotel mit großen Zimmern, Balkon mit Blick auf den Jachthafen oder die Bay , Kühlschrank und warmen Frühstück in fantastischer Umgebung auf Shelter Island . Waren hier bereits zum 3. Mal. Parken derzeit nur $ 5 . Sehr freundliches Personal .

Das Hotel liegt günstig zu Old Town San Diego. Es benötigt mal eine Renovierung. Eine Lobby, in der man sich einmal hinsetzen kann, ist nicht vorhanden. Der Empfang ist aber freundlich und hilfsbereit. Empfehlenswert nur für Leute, die sich mit einem sehr einfachen Hotel begnügen u nd nicht viel Geld ausgeben wollen.
Lage
Good Nite Inn Chula Vista liegt in Chula Vista, South Bay, in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeit: Silver Strand State Beach. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung gehören: PETCO Park und Coronado Beach.
Ausstattung
Ein W-LAN Internetzugang steht gegen eine Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Weitere Annehmlichkeiten sind: Außenpool, mehrsprachiges Personal und Wäscherei. Parkplätze vor Ort sind für die Gäste kostenlos.

Das weitläufige South Bay ist für seine unmittelbare Nähe zur mexikanischen Grenze bekannt. In San Ysidro, nördlich der Grenze, befindet sich der am meisten frequentierte Grenzübergang der Welt. South Bay ist vor allem ein Wohngebiet, es finden sich dort aber auch einige Industrie-, Gewerbe- und Militärgebiete. Bei Touristen äußerst beliebt sind zum Beispiel Knott's Soak City Water Park und Coors Amphitheater, in dem Konzerte bekannter Künstler stattfinden.

Das Motel ist durch seine Lage als Ausgangspunkt in San Diego gut geeignet. Das Frühstück war quasi nicht vorhanden und mehr Pseudomäßig aufgebaut (Kaffee war aus, O-Saft aus Automat mit mäßigem Geschmack, Muffins aus der Big Box und das war´s dann auch schon). Das Internet ging bei uns nur stundenweise, ein Anruf bei dem Provider brachte keine Abhilfe. Allerdings […] war das Hotelpersonal hierbei sehr hilfreich. "Preis Leistung gut"
Wir hatten dieses Hotel Ende Mai für eine Woche gebucht. Wie so viele Motels lag auch dieses direkt an einem Haiway. Unser Zimmer lag direkt auf der Straßenseite, also baten wir um ein anderes welches uns anstandslos gegeben wurde. Im Internet war zu lesen, dass die Zimmer einen Kühlschrank haben. war in unserem Zimmer nicht der Fall. Also beim einchecken […] darauf achten und ein Zimmer mit Kühlschrank verlangen. Das Zimmer der Pool und auch das Drumherum war alles sauber. Jedoch wurde bei der täglichen Zimmerreinigung regelmäßig der Wannenrand vergessen. Zum Frühstück gibts nur Muffins und Kaffee, dafür schmeckt der einigermaßen. Alles in allem kann man dieses Motel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt empfehlen. Mehr

Umgebung nicht besonders aber zum Übernachten O.K.. Ca. 5 Min. bis ins Zentrum von Chula Vista. Liegt direkt am I 10.

Frühstück ist ein kleiner Scherz. In der Hotelreception mit Kaffee-Tee ohne Tische und Muffins.Kaffe ist sehr gut.
"American standard"
Nahe dem Pazifik gelegen sit da Hotel gut geeignet für einen Kurzaufenthalt in San Diego. Um einen längeren Urlaub zu machen, empfiehlt sich ein etwas besseres Haus. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist allerdings kaum zu toppen.
"zufrieden"
Das Hotel ist einfach, aber nett und sauber. Ein paar Autominuten zu Restaurants und Supermarkt. Trolley-Haltestelle (z.B. nach Downtown San Diego) zu Fuß erreichbar.

"Zum übernachten Ok"
Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Autobahn Staßenbahnanbindung nach San Diego und mexicanische Grenze direkt um die Ecke. Dadurch ein wenig lauter aber nicht störend. Zimmer waren sauber aber wirkten feucht. Service nur eingeschränkt. Wir mussten jeden Tag aufs neue fehlende Handtücher aus der Lobby holen.

"Cleaniliness of room"
Very satisfied. I will stay again, but there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I had to go to the office to get some!

i got a great price, but that might have been because of a parking-lot resurfacing.

The hotel allowed for multiple parties on multiple nights. The air conditioning in my room was broken. They said they would send someone up to fix it and never did. The started a construction project in the parking lot a few days into my stay, and started work at 7am. There was inadequate parking and the whole experience was upsetting.
"Don't stay here"
After a long day at sea world, we came back to find the room had locked us out! The security lock that is supposed to only be able to be locked from the inside locked itself when we closed the door (the air blew the curtain which moved the lock). The front desk person was alone and had no idea how to help. An hour later, the maintenance guy sawed through […] the lock! Worst part, they both said it was a common problem! No apologies were offered for the inconvenience of this problem they knew about. My advice, dont stay at this motel. Mehr

"Weekend Getaway"
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and every time I am always satisfied! The customer service from the lady at the front desk was outstanding. She was so friendly and personable. The room very extremely clean and had that fresh smell to it the minute I checked into it. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. To top it off the […] muffins for breakfast were delicious and had a moist fresh out of the oven taste to them, I highly recommend staying at this hotel, you will LOVE it! Mehr

"Excellent value"
Accomodation was an excellent value! Pleasantly surprised. Across the road from marine salt marsh refuge. Close (within easy walking distance) to several restuarants (Angus Steak, Denny's, Taco Bells, etc). Relatively close to Balboa Park & San Diego Zoo. Provided juice, coffee and muffins for breakfast.
"Great Value Motel"
This is the finest discount motel I have stayed in. Several notches above a Motel 6 and slightly less expensive. Newer room furnishings, very friendly and helpful staff, great location due to it's location by the e street trolley station. Small amount of noise from traffic but nothing serious. A great value.

"Close go many points of interest."
It was less than 20min of many places we wanted to visit. Surrounded by a variety of restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room did have a closed room scent. "good hotel at a good price"
Recently renovated rooms. Have stayed here on numerous trips to the area. Clean and comfortable at a great price. Only issue is there are no longer any hair dryers in the rooms now. Limited cont. Breakfast but otherwise nice for a good nights sleep.

Great customer service....but there were some shady people hanging in the parking lot, the mattresses were very uncomfortable.

"Good nite at a convenient location and clean rooms"
The motel is conveniently right off the exit from I-5. It's clean, cheap and has helpful staff. But when you book, request a room that is on the opposite side of the freeway, if possible. Will use it again if i go down to San Diego.

The room was average, fairly clean. The only downside was the two rooms below us has probably close to a combined 12 people living in them. Not sure what exactly was going on, but i am pretty sure they were not on "Holidays" For that reason, i prob wouldn't stay here again.

Overall god hotel to stay at. Fair priceing. Although u can hear a train around 3 am. Otherwise great place to stay.

Clean ,easily accesible to major freeway, very quiet reasonable rates

Although the description says complementary internet access had to pay $4.95 per day to get access. It was ok considering the price. but better we know in advance.

The value for the money was good. Rooms were clean but during the night the outside can get noisy because of the high-way. The staff was friendly and resourceful. I wish they would have free Wi-fi that is always such a convenient amenity to have.

"Great place to stay"
The hotel room was great, very clean and the bathroom was spotless however, the chair in our room had a really ugly stain on it, kinda made me queasy, but other than that, the stay was superb, and the staff is great there.
We want to thank you for responding on-line. The staff & I enjoy what we do and take pride in our rooms. It is wonderful when a guest recognizes the hard work in what the housekeepers do and feel pride thinking maybe that was their room that was being bragged about. So thank you very much.

I actually had a good stay here. However, the front desk computer system was crashing and the lady was herself irritated and wasn't very fast in expediting the line of people in the lobby. Overall not a bad place.
I apologize that any of our guests see us not to our potential. But I am very happy that during your stay everything else went well and that you were able to enjoy your it.

The bed was very rock hard and stiff, there were stains all over the floor. There was a spot for a refrigerator but one was not in there. Having to pay for internet at 5.00 a day was absurd. The continental breakfast was a muffin and orange juice. The noise that came through the doors into our room was very loud. And we did not feel safe at all.
