I only stay at the Suites because I can walk to The Scotch & Sirloin. They have the BEST beef in America.

IN THE SUITE THE CHAIRS WERE NOT VERY COMFORTABLE. IT WAS FINE FOR THE SALE PRICE BUT WOULD NOT HAVE MATCHED THE REGULAR PRICE. SOME MOLD IN THE BATHROOM AROUND THE TUB. I KNOW THIS IS A HARD ITEM STILL IT STANDS OUT.

As for my job, I stay in Wichita one week out of every month. This is one of the better hotels in Wichita. There is no movie channels on the cable, but there is a large book shelf of new release movie you can pick from to watch in your room. Its like a little movie rental store in the holel. The hotel is clean, affordable and the breakfast is great. The only changes I would make are: 1. Update the rooms and decor to a more modern theme. The hotel feels dated and somewhat old. 2. While this wasn't a 4 star hotel or anything, it was GREAT! The price was awesome and the room was great. LOVED the fact that there was a small living space/kitchen. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Have stayed here a number of times in the last few years and everything has been very nice; The evening free drinks, and the wonderful breakfast makes the stay good. The only problem this time was that the bed was horrible, both sides were broken down and every move was accompanied with lots of crunching sounds. Kind of like sleeping in a sagging hammock. […] Gave that report when we checked out but did not get a response. Could not find a method online or by phone to pass on the problem. I was impressed staying at the Wichita Suites, the staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and was very handy having a kitchenett. The only complaint I would have is that the flat screen TV is too small and too far away to watch in bed. But I was impressed my room had a DVD player, so I rented a couple of RedBox movies. We pulled in very late, the parking lot was crowded from the bar that shared the same parking lot. Was not expecting the desk clerk to be behind glass, however the glass had been raised by morning. The room was nice and spacious. Wished there was a lamp instead of the light bar above the bed, and more conveniently located outlets would of also been […] nice. For what we paid, this was a bargain. Large rooms, kitchen, sofa, great bed (foam mattress top I think), okay bathroom (could have been better - the water wasn't quite hot enough#. This place is in Wichita folks - so it's not like San Diego, Clearwater Beach Florida, or even Seattle for that matter. You're not going to go to this hotel for a great time. […] You're going here either due to business, family, or if you're a veteran - maybe to visit the VA hospital across the road. It's fine for all of the above, but don't stay here unless you're just looking for a functional relatively comfortable place to stay with some room to move around. Sure, the rooms aren't perfect, but as far as I could tell it was relatively clean and everything worked. I didn't notice any loud noises or distracting stuff - but it was maybe only 25% full while we stayed #during the week) so I don't know what a weekend would be like. Overall, I give this place a thumbs up. I did NOT try the breakfast - however my wife did and she really liked it. By the way it's behind the O'Briens Irish Pub if you drive up late at night and can't see the entrance. Mehr

Well located. Fitness room is finally useable. Great selection of DVDs to watch at the confort of your room. Breakfast was hot itens and everything else. Very spacious room. Little old rooms but well maintained.

The area wasn't very nice & when I pulled around to the door closet to my room, it was backed against a neighborhood & someone's dog was sitting in front of the door! Wichita Suites may have been good at one time, but I didn't like it and its very dated.

The king bed was comfortable, nice spacious room. Good breakfast buffet. Excellent location. Fronr desk person, Suzanne, was a jewel! Verynice and helpful. I had moved from another hotel that was newer but this one was better all around. They do need to air freshen the elevator, not sure about the smell coming through the vent!

We really enjoyed our 6 day stay at the Wichita Suites Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast bar was great, and the room was clean and roomy, which we needed! Pretty good rate as well!

The staff was extremely unhelpful. Due to my schedule, I couldn't attend any of the meal or hotel amenity activities. When asked if a piece of fruit or cup of coffee could be made avail, staff said no but was also very rude in their response. Seems they don't appreciate reservations made through Expedia. Might want to leave this one off your list.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wichita Suites. Check-in was easy & quick, desk clerk wasn't particularly friendly, (no smiles), but she knew her job and did it well. We got a good deal booking through Hotels.com and we really appreciated the free drink tickets (three each) for their 5:PM happy hour and a good breakfast in the AM. Will definitely stay […] there again when traveling in the area. Location is fairly close to toll road but a little tricky to get to. Mehr

This was a much better stay than at the previous 2 other hotels I stayed at this week. The room was extremely spacious and the kitchenette was great, especially if it'd been a long stay. The only problem I had was the hotel itself is a bit out-dated and the bathroom shower curtain had hair on it from a previous person staying in the same room. I have […] a service dog and the law states any public place must allow your dog admittance with the following criteria spoken only: I am disabled and my service dog provides me with services specific to my disability. I hadn't had a problem before or after this hotel but when I arrived at Wichita Suites, the lady checking me in asked for papers regarding proof my dog is a service dog. After I told her that legally I don't have to provide this she did back down and say "no problem" but it did make me feel like I needed to keep my service dog away from others to not cause problems as this is a "no pet" hotel. I appreciate the lady checking me in may not know all the laws, I just wish everyone would be fully aware of the laws regarding service animals so I can feel comfortable about my service dogs presence during a stay at a hotel. Otherwise, I would go back and the breakfast wasn't bad at all...hot breakfast, hash browns, eggs, sausages, biscuits & gravy, as well as cold cereals, fruit juices and milk. The one thing I would have liked was a stronger cup of coffee...it was just coffee flavored water. Mehr

Great stay for the price, the suites are very large and can accommodate a whole family in one room vs. having to purchase two rooms at most other hotels. A little outdated but like most hotels its just a place to sleep for the night. Full kitchen was also handy, even for just one night. Full free breakfast was also an additional bonus.

I was most impressed with the size of our suite. For a bargain price, we had a full-sized refrigerator, well appointed kitchenette and a good-sized living room, in addition to a separate bedroom and bathroom with two sinks. The hotel is a bit dated but seems well-maintained. A great value. We are likely to return.

Great price. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Clean room had a full kitchen, even full size fridge, and garbage disposal. Obviously needs updated decor but for the price and our room was huge. Could easilymeet stay there mote than justthe a day. They even gave us 3 tickets each for happy hour which was a nice surprise. Room 118 had a loose faucet in the kitchen area, and stool in the bathroon moved when you sit down. Shower heads in 118 and 119 need to be replaced.

We were very impressed and would recommend the Wichita Suites Hotel to anyone making a trip to Wichita. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was outstanding. Easy to access and easy to get around the area - we are delighted we stayed there for the five nights we were in Wichita.
