Good Nite Inn - Redwood City - Redwood City

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ok; Hotel liegt ca. 25 Meilen von San Francisco entfernt und somit zu weit außerhalb. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, das Bad war ok. W-LAN gab es leider nur gegen Bares (ca. 12 Dollar für 3 Tage oder 4-5 Dollar pro Tag). Die Poolanlage war schön, das Wasser war sauber aber unbeheizt. Das Wasser hatte höchstens 16 Grad. Nur was […] für Harte. Frühstück :-(( war ein Totalausfall. Es gab Kaffee und Tee sowie amerikanische Muffins, die aber um 7:30 Uhr schon vergriffen waren. Haben aber eh nicht geschmeckt. Somit bestand unser Frühstück aus einem Kaffee, der - sofern man ihn mit löslichem Kaffeepulver aus dem Supermarkt verstärkte, auch genießbar war. Ansonsten gab es nichts zu meckern. Obwohl wir nicht zu früh da waren, konnten wir noch nicht ins Zimmer weil es angeblich noch gereinigt wurde, als wir dann ins Zimmer kamen fragten wir uns, was gereinigt wurde. Im Bad lagen noch die Haare vor Vormieter, ekelig. Jetzt hatten wir leider auch noch für zwei Nächte gebucht als Ausgangspunkt für San Fran. Am nächsten Tag wurde wieder nicht […] gereinigt und es waren noch nicht mal die Betten gemacht (hab ich noch nie erlebt), lediglich neue Handtücher gab es. Leider hat sich das als schlechter Standort für den Besuch von San Fran herausgestellt weil man sich ersparen sollte sich morgens durch die Rush Hour zu quälen. Lieber in San Fran buchen, ein paar Dollar mehr ausgeben und keinen Stress mit dem Straßenverkehr haben. Z.T. wird aggressiv gefahren, was wir sonst niergends erlebt haben dort (auch in L.A. nicht). Hi also das Hotel war sehr gut und ich würde auch wieder hingehen. Ist aber nur sehr gut wenn man ein Auto hat da es doch etwas entfernt ist von San Francisco und den Airport.

- ca. 15 Meilen weg vom Flughafen, Lage: direkt neben Freeway, aber abends okay - W-lan kostet extra: 5 Dollar, funktioniert aber gut - Zimmer günstig und dafür alte Ausstattung aber durchaus in Ordnung - Frühstück wenig aber dafür günstiger Zimmerpreis (Muffins, Kaffee, Juice) -Kein Fön, Mikro oder Kühlschrank vorhanden

Das Hotel hat für 1ne Nacht völlig ausgereicht, es hätte sogar noch einen Pool und sieht allgemein ansprechend aus. Gleich nehen dem Motel hat es einen FastFood Laden

The location of the hotel is great with easy freeway access. The room was clean but the bathrooms and in particular the sinks were so gross - I thought there were bugs in the sink but it was spots where the porcelain was off and the back splash was torn up and repaired unprofessionally - duct tape would have been a better choice! Please pay the extra $20 and go somewhere else. This place is so filthy! I kept getting out of bed to check for bed bugs. It is quite a ways from the airport, too.

Very good and confortable. Would like to have more TV channels such as CNN and movies channels. Also would have liked to have coffee service inside room.

When clearly stating the night before that I would like a late check out and posting the do not disturb card on the door, I do NOT appreciate that every single time I stay here, I get someone knocking on my door as early as 7:45am asking me to either get out of bed so they can rotate the matress, clean the room, give me towels, etc. There is a reason […] for requesting a late check out time and its called SLEEP. The room is usually fairly clean but its obvious that they don't wash the comforters/blankets enough and the rooms could stand to have the carpets deodorized. I also noticed that the toilet paper is often nearly out so ive learned to check it beforehand. But for the price, its a decent hotel and the front desk staff is generally very accomodating and friendly. Mehr

I have stayed here a number of times always good

We checked in at midnight and the staff member who checked us in did not seem very happy about us arriving at that time. At first we were given a room that had not been cleaned yet and she seemed bothered by the fact that we had to come back and ask for another room. She did give us another room but they did not have a non smoking room with two queens […] available but she was able to give us a room with a king bed and a pull out sofa. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all. The sofa bed did not have pillows on it and when we asked for pillows and another blanket we were told that they were out of pillows and blankets so two of the four of us went without pillows. The hallways between rooms smelled awful. The hotel is near the freeway and IHOP so it was a good location for a good price but it was not that clean or well stocked or staffed. Mehr

Not a good experience - abrupt and impersonal reception, terse and unapproachable too. $10minimum charge for a local phone call, fine for noise, fine for pets, fine for unaccompanied children - notices in the reception area with fines (hundreds of dollars) and nothing about service or having a good time. Well, I did like it was easy to find. The front desk lady was nice and helpful. Now, in Hotels.com it there was 2 choices for the room we wanted. One had breakfast, the other didn't. Well, I booked for a breakfast. Got to desk, she mentioned no breakfast but we can use our receipt to show IHop, next door, and we get 10% off. Ok, problems, no breakfast, […] no hair dryer. Mehr

I stayed on 4/2/2012 and had always liked the muffins and O.J. they had for breakfast , but was shocked to find they no longer offer this perk. I will move my consideration of this hotel in future bookings down to the same as other inexpensive hotels. purchased online, arrived in the evening. The place was packed..... So parking was a bit challenging. The evening / night staff were rude. Got our room key the room was nice, comfy, although next to a freeway the noise wad not heard in the room. The shower / tub had some hair in it. It was clean except the hair. This hotel is small yet convenient enough for a trip to the surrounding area (including San Francisco). It has an IHOP right next door, which is 24 hours, a McDonalds and Pizza Hut nearby, as well as other little stores that are useful. Everyone is very nice. The rooms are well maintained and the stay is nice. Definitely get the top floor (if given […] the option) because the rooms seem bigger and you'll have a little balcony as well. Mehr

I'm often in my company's Redwood City office, but I have to pay for my own accommodations. The Good Nite Inn has relatively clean rooms, is pretty quiet (especially considering it's next to a freeway), and is fairly comfortable. The best thing about it is the price—about $30 cheaper than anything else in the area, and it's right around the corner from […] the office. Its decorations are really outdated, the hallways aren't that clean, and the sheets, towels, and pillows are definitely cheap. But for what I'm looking for—a clean room where I can get a good night's sleep between 14-hour workdays—it's a great value and I plan on staying there quite a bit. Mehr

I needed an inexpensive hotel near the San Francisco Airport. They don't offer shuttle service, however the difference between this facility and hotels that offer airport service is much greater than taxi fare, so it worked out. The WiFi costs $4.95 per 24 hours, however smartphones alleviate the need for many of us anyway. I've stayed here before and […] the service is consistently sufficient for my basic lodging needs. Not a 4- or 5-Star, but safe, quiet and comfortable. It's another recycled Howard Johnson's, so it depends upon your expectations as to whether you'll be okay with it. Mehr

i have really bad experince wheni left the hotel i call them let them know i forgot my boots which is coast over 120 doller i never see them again they never find it housekeeping bad i regrat i stay in that hotel you never see your stuff if you stay in that hotel

This is a true budget hotel. Do no expect a hair drier in your room, and no fridge in the room. You will also need to pay $5 for internet. There are burn marks on our carpet. However, this hotel is very close to the freeway, and close to many gas stations and restaurants. For the price, this hotel is not too bad.

This hotel was not friendly at the reception. The first room designated smelled strongly like cigarette. At the reception they just said me they had nothing to do with it. Then we went to another room where the carpet and the blankets were really dirty. The bankets even had holes in it. When we went out to breakfast, arround nine in the morning, the […] eletronic key stoped working and they told us that the room was already closed. Mehr

don't get the cheapest room. All on the FWY and very loud.

I had an early morning interview in Palo Alto and didn't get in until 11pm the night before. I got the last room that was even available. Even though the place was packed it was nice and quiet and I got a good nights sleep. My only complaints would be that I couldn't find the heater and the internet access did cost money. This was by far the worst hotel expirience I have ever had. When we checked in nobody said there was any problem with the room. When we got tot eh room there was a sign on the floor that said to "be careful carpet may be damp" WHAT? why would the carpet be damp? did the toilet overflow, is there a leak in the roof, were the carpets just shampoo'd? Since […] I didn't want my luggage to get wet I had to set it down on the tile entry way. The bedspread was stained really bad. I explained to the front desk clerk that i couldn't stay there and she made no attempt to correct the situation. I ended up at a different hotel that night and was pleased with my choice. When I contacted teh management to discuss a refund I was told that no refund would be given because the maids had marked that the room had been used and therefore I was responsible for the fee of the room. When I questionsed why the floors were wet I was asked if I checked the floors. So I am supposed to bend over and verify that the floor is damp when there is a sign that says it is right in front of me? Horrible Customer Service and Horrible rooms even if it is on the cheaper scale. It was disgusting. I will never reccomend this chain to anyone and I hope you find this review helpful. Mehr

They Didn't tell me when I checked in, that there is ONLY maid service, i.e. - make bed, every other day. And you do not get a fresh ice bucket liner each day.
