Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 30. Sep. 2012Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen (dafür kleinen Punktabzug) und typisch amerikanisch aber dennoch vollkommen OK. Es ist natürlich kein Interconti, man bezahlt auch keine Interconti! und wir wollen hier auch nicht auf Interconti Niveau bewerten. Alles funktionierte enwandfrei. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer selber war ausreichend groß für die Übernachtung, aber zu klein, um dort den Tag zu verbringen. Es war eine kleine Küche enthalten mit Herd und Kühlschrank. Alle Geräte fuktionierten und wir hatten keinerlei hygienische Bedenken, wie auch nicht bei dem restlichen Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt ca. 300m vom Ufer entfernt. Wir sind zwar mit dem Auto in knapp 10 min am Parlament gewesen, aber zu Fuß sollte es auch in ca. 30 min machbar sein. Parkplätze sind auf dem Hof vorhanden. Allerdings kann es zu Spitzenzeiten zu Engpässen beim parken kommen. Die Nachbarschaft sieht, glaube ich, schlimmer aus als sie ist. Wir haben uns aber nie unsicher gefühlt. Als Ausgangspunkt für Stadbesichtigungen ist das Hotel sehr gut gelegen. Wir würden es beim nächsten Stadtbesuch auf jeden Fall auch wieder buchen, da das Preis / Leistungverhältnis m.E. für 1-2 Nächte gestimmt hat.

Sep. 2012Das Hotel ist ein angenehmes Businesshotel, die Lage in' Downtown' Ottawa ist nicht perfekt da die Stadtmitte am Samstag nachmittag wie ausgestorben erscheint. Weder Geschäfte noch Restaurants haben geöffnet. Der Empfang im Hotel war etwas frostig bis zum Bezahlen mit der Kreditkarte. Da wir mit Rucksäcken reisten, wirkten wir wohl nicht ganz 'Sheraton-like'......sonst war alles in Ordnung

On top of having the best staff & a complete, full kitchen in every room, they now offer "grab & go" breakfast. I appreciate the honest name. Fresh &packaged muffins, selection of coffees, Quaker bars & cereals, fresh fruit, hot coco packs etc. During day you can grab a pack of microwave popcorn! Loved the location, parking was a real issue as there were not always spots available even though we had paid for one on the hotel grounds. Furniture was very dated, had very little cutlery etc in the supposedly fully stocked kitchen. Linen for the pull out couch smelled dirty and the blanket was full of holes. Housekeeping only came once during our […] stay, was unaware that this would be the case. Better value available elsewhere. We had a great time at City Hall ice rink which was just steps away from the hotel. I didn't stay long enough to experience the hotel fully, but I would recommend to my friends and families. "More like apartment than hotel"
Imagine an apartment building with hotel services and that's what its like there. Fully equipped kitchen, usually a huge balcony though on this trip I did not have one. They've made some changes since my last visit. New flat screen TVs and new bedding. They still have smoking floors available which is great for me. There wasnt a balcony in this one […] but sliding doors with a barrier than leaves about 6 inches of space, which is strange. The hotel should clean this space as its filled with garbage and bird poo. No pool or gym but that's not what counts for me. The room was clean, but one plate had been stored dirty. There was only hot water running from the hand sink faucet and we were note able to get a café latte from the restaurant (broken machine). No big deals, but one thing really annoyed us : an amazing noise coming out from a room two doors away and on the other side of the corridor during almost […] the whole second night. There were at least 20 teenagers in there. We called the reception desk to complain about this disturbance. The noise stopped after that, probably because these guests had finally left (around 4 am, after probably waking up the whole storey while finishing their party in the corridor) and because we went to ask a second time the occupant of the room to lower the chatting and the screaming, and advise her we would call the reception desk. Despite this, it was a good stay for the price asked. I know that the hotel cannot be hold for responsible for the noise every of their guest make, but I would just recommend that the receptionist be alert of the possibility of improper conduct when such a gang walks by he or she to take the elevator. "Comfortable convenient hotel"
The hotel is located near the busway, which in Ottawa is a substantially more user friendly and convenient trait than one might think. The staff was friendly, and the room quite nice, especially considering the low prices. The one issue I had was that the elevators were absolutely tiny, which caused trouble whenever myself or anyone else in them had […] any bags with them. "close to the canal"
I was disappointed about the location of the two rooms. I had been promised that they would be side by side so we could be close to our grandchildren but instead , one room was on the 4th flloor & the other on the 8th. There were not enough towels in the room that our daughter & her husband shared with their 3 young children . There were only 2 & they […] were not changed the following morning. "A very nice place but a loud fridge."
The kitchenette was a nice feature but the fridge was loud whenever it cycled on. So having a restfull sleep was problematic. Next time I'll bring earplugs.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"convenient & friendly"
the hotel was a good value for the paid rate, the hotel and the guest room were clean and friendly. The parking cost an extra $15 a day, but that is still better than the other options that close to everything downtown. I would stay at this hotel again.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Great place if you're only using it for a place to crash. It wasn't very up to date as far as looks but since my wife and I were out exploring Ottawa, we didn't stay in the room too long. Also, when I booked it said there was a continental breakfast but when I arrived there was none. I'll be trying a new hotel if I'm ever back in Ottawa.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Value for the buck"

"Experience at Extended Stay Deluxe"
My recent stay at hotel was fine. Other than hotel hospitality things looks good. I have asked to call Taxi at front desk(Emily) and she was not at all attentive to get me taxi. Have to wait for more than 30 min and ask again and again to get a taxi. Finally other receptionist help me getting Taxi to the next destination.
