Das Hotel Capitol Firenze liegt direkt am Strand, getrennt von der Durchgangsstrasse. Parkplätze sind entlang der Strasse vorhanden.

Sehr schönes Stadthotel von dem aus man alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vollkommen ausreichend , sogar mit frischem Obst. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Preis ist für dieses Hotel in dieser Lage mehr als in Ordnung. I booked this hotel after searching for a long time for a new, clean hotel in Florence, which seemed to be hard to find. When I got there to check in, the front desk clerks seemed to be overwhelmed with answering phones and helping the people in front of me. One of the clerks seemed to be new & unsure of what to do. They were not overly friendly but […] adequate in checking us in. There is no parking at the hotel but there is a garage across the street which costs 20 Euro for 1 day. The hotel seemed clean. Our room was on the 5th floor & we were surprised to see that our view was of Florence & the Dome, which was a nice treat. The location was also ok, as it was a 10-15 min walk to the heart of the historical center. Our room was very clean, but simple. I was happily surprised with the new, modern bathroom which was quite spacious. The only negative was the toilet which had problems flushing. We had to stand there & push the flusher for a few minutes in order for it to work. To do this every time got annoying. But the shower was very nice & clean. We slept very soundly even though the bed was hard. The pillows were awful. Just flat pancakes. But luckily, I had brought mine with me from home. The breakfast the next day was really under par. The croissants were covered in sugar & were really not good. Then I decided to try the cereal, however the milk seemed to be sitting out & it was not cold & had a funny taste to it. The only coffee offered was from one of the instant coffee machines which was a disappointment. But all that said, I feel I got my money's worth. Just don't have super high expectations. We spent two hours to catch the right bus, and we shouldn't had listened to google map at the first place. There is a bus 23A or 23 will go to the hotel at the left handside of Firenze SMN, it takes about 15 minutes. The place is contemporary and clean, the staffs are helpful and friendly, spoken decent english. We booked a triple room, but they mistakenly […] gave us a king bed. After informed the font desk, they changed the room right away. The petite lady in blonde long hair is extremely helpful and nice. Everything is good except the shower has no certain and it has slow drain, so the water flood out. BUT turn the water down will keep everything under control. There is a good Italian restaurant by the round-about "Trattoria", excellent beef brew. Coop supermarket is 5 minutes away. The hotel is about 20-30 minutes walk to Duomo, but the walk is pleasant as you explore the true neighborhood. There is a #14 (a,b,c) all go to SMN station just 1 minute walk from the hotel. Buy your bus ticket in advance cuz it is hard to find ticket points nearby and during rush hour, the bus is likely to be full, but it runs every 5-10 minutes, so it isn't that bad. Mehr

The hotel is locate about 20min from hotel to centre, the room is very conformatable, also the staffs are very nice and can speak English(Italian Engligh)

Clean enough but I wasn't entirely taken with the comfort of the beds or the cold clinical feel of the place. It was sort of like an Ikea inspired Holding cell/ Office cubicle . The hotel is excellent. Good location, comfortable rooms, good breakfast and affordable price! Keep your eyes out for deals on the breakfast - they could save you a lot of money.

We found the front desk staff very unwelcoming on the day of our arrival. Didn't get much help trying to log on to a computer using their 'Wifi'. I was not impressed when I was asked for 3 euros/person/night, when the law states 1(one euro). When I questioned that, the staff member insisted that she was correct, and I was misinformed. This is my second visit to this hotel. On the previous occasion it was owned by the US chain Best Western. The then reasonable standards have been maintained, though the breakfast now has tobe paid for separately but still inexpesive. Staff are helpful and thehotel is well served by local buses and one can walk to the central area within 20mts.My overall […] assessment is it is very good given price location and service. This hotel was the worst experience ever for our Europe trip. First off the receptionist did not speak English we had a hard time communicating with them. They even hung up on me when I complain about how slow the Internet was...their response I don't understand I don't speck English...click! Second I read reviews that they have high speed Internet […] it's more like dial up or even worst...when we first arrive my husband and I was wondering why everyone was in the hotel lobby all the time...we finally figured out why it was because the room Internet was so slow they had to go to the lobby to even use the Internet. location its about 20-30 min walk to a plaza or tourist area. Lastly the air condition in our room was linking water and the most important that people need to know about there is no shower door so water will be splash everywhere on the floor after you shower. The customer service of the front desk was so poor. I have stayed in several places in Florence and have never been treated as such. The shower wasn't draining on our first night so we called the front desk he came to look at it but said the house keeping would fix it the next day. He would try to change our rooms but he wasn't sure. Next day same shower […] problems, and it was raining. This hotel is far from all the sites walking distance if you like to walk (we don't mind). I asked the front desk if it was to rain the whole day and if he knew where I could be get an umbrella. In a rude fashion told all day and NOPE! :( So sad Florence really has gone down hill from the last time we were there 4 years ago. Save your money and go to Naples instead, Pompeii is gorgeous. ;) Breakast was okay & beds were comfy! Mehr

Although the hotel is a little bit far from the train station, it is not a far walk from the city center and there is a bus stop right around the corner. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke English pretty well, and our room was clean and had a nice little view of the neighborhood. The room was not very big, but large enough for two. Overall very good. Breakfast was ok. I did note there seemed to be a warmer perhaps for boiled eggs or similar but never saw any food in it. staff were friendley spoke English and were very helpful with booking tours, internet access etc. Bit of a walk from the city centre where the rail station is if you are carting luggage but fineto walk from here […] for site seeing. Watch the taxi drivers should only cost about 7euro from station another doubled the meter as we pulled up at 9am in the morning when I returned to station to leave Florence. Mehr

I was way impressed with this hotel for the price - it was the cheapest hotel we stayed at in our 9 nights in Italy and was very modern, clean, and friendly. It was a bit away from the center, but only a 15 minute walk or so from most of the major sites (Accademia, Duomo, etc.) I would definitely without question stay here again.

Comfortable, clean, newly renovated with a "fun" colour scheme. Close to attractions. Immediate surroundings not exactly inspiring, but fine all the same. A good choice while in Firenze.

The room was very clean and came with all the amenities that most americans are used to. great price for the quality of the amenities. The only downside is the location with it being slightly further away than the other hotels that are crowded around the city center. The hotel is just 3 minutes outside of the main tourist attractions. Doesn't have a skyline view or anything fancy about the place, but serves it's purpose if all you are looking for is just a place to sleep with an outdated contemporary look. A notch better than continental breakfast is served, and the hotel staff were really friendly to point out […] nearby restaurants and attractions. The hotel sits on a major throughway, so the sound of motorcycles zipping by is just about all the noise you can hear at night. Mehr

Hotel seems more like two Star. Old Building and need Upgrade.

The location was great! We could see the Duomo from our window, which is so much more than we expected for the cost. There was a good breakfast spread; enough to fill us up for the morning. Questo hotel è molto adatto per le coppie giovani, meno per famiglie. Ma ha molti servizi (vedi sky in camera) ed è pulito e comodo. Nel complesso consigliabile.

El hotel es sencillo y adecuado al precio, se desaconseja el desayuno pues aunque lo anuncian como buffet, no hay a penas nada y el precio abusivo exactamente el doble al que tomamos en la cafetería de al lado y mucho mejor. Atención al impuesto turistico

Que dire hormis le fait que nous sommes partis avant la fin du séjour! Le style de l'hotel qui est plutôt un genre d'auberge de jeunesse implique obligatoirement l'absence de service, de confort et, maitrise des coûts oblige, une propreté à désirer. L'hôtel est infesté de moustiques de part l'eau stagnante tout autours et sur les differents toits de […] l'hotel mais aussi du fait qu'aucune fenêtre ne soit étanche. Dit hotel ligt iets buiten het centrum (15 minuten stappen), maar is wat prijs/kwaliteit betreft beslist een aanrader. De kamers zijn modern en schoon. Short distance to the city, but it was very noicy from the street. Ambulances, heavy driving all night long. Not included breakfast..Parking cross the street, 20 euros pr. day.

Hotel gelegen op ongeveer 15 minuten te voet van het stadscentrum. Steek de drukke straat over (links van hotel) en loop constant rechtdoor naar de stad (nogmaals een drukke straat over). Supermarktjes in de straat tot 's avonds laat open. Parkeergarage aan de overkant van het hotel (max. 20 euro per dag) of betaald parkeren om de hoek in de straat […] (alleen in blauwe vakken!). Let op 1 dag in de week worden staten schoongemaakt en moet je auto weg! Zie bordje aan begin van de straat (in Italiaans). Voor de deur slechts enkele gratis plaatsen. Receptiemedewerksters zeer behulpzaam. In de lobby water, sapjes, chips e.d. te koop. Magnetron aanwezig voor opwarmen eten en koffieautomaat voor warme dranken. Lift, computer en tv aanwezig. Gratis Wifi in lobby en op kamer: aanmelden en je inlogcode en wachtwoord komt per sms. Toch fijn om 's avonds even je mail etc te checken! In de kamer was alles netjes, wij hadden 2 kamers waarvan 1 grote en de andere was beduidend kleiner!De kamers zijn dus niet allen aan elkaar gelijk. Badkamers zijn een beetje krap (wc,bidet,wastafel, douche) en geen douchegordijn voor de uiterst smalle douche dus water spuit makkelijk overal heen. Ontbijt 's ochtends is goed maar niet super. Als je het reserveert bij het inchecken betaal je minder! Vouchers iedere ochtend inleveren. Yoghurt, zoete croissants, broodjes,ham, kaas, jam,thee, koffie, sap, broodrooster, roerei aanwezig maar niet altijd aangevuld. Fruit te hard om te eten. COOP supermarkt straat achter hotel en dan 1e links tot 21.00 open voor als je nog iets wilt kopen of je eigen ontbijt wilt samenstellen. Ik heb er 7 nachten geslapen en het is mij prima bevallen. Florence is een super stad, alles is op loopafstand en de restaurantjes bij het Palazzo Vecchio zijn goed, goedkoop en je zit heerlijk buiten! Mehr

Simples, limpo e fácil acesso. Sem muito conforto, o estilo é o mesmo do Formula 1, da rede Accor. Nada de mais, mas conveniente. Não tem quase comércio perto e se for de carro prepare-se para ter que deixá-lo na rua e ainda marchar em 20 euros por cada 8 horas de estacionamento de rua. Dá para ir andando ao centro histórico, o café da manhã é cobrado […] a parte e agora tem uma taxa da cidade por dia de estada. Mehr

O Hotel sem estacionamento, não orienta o hóspede, não forneceu sabonete e shampoo, sem dar satisfação. No ultimo dia camareira disse que o sabonete havia acabado!!! Senhor idoso e moça loira na recepção, totalmente grosseiros e despreparados.

Hotel situato in una posizione strategica, vicino alla zona chiusa al traffico, si ha la possibilità di usufruire del parcheggio a pagamento che si trova davanti all'hotel, le camere sono confortevoli, ampie e pulite.

Accueil agréable,bon petit déjeuner , chambre très propre et moderne, proximité des grands lieux touristiques accessibles a pied en 10 minutes.

L'hotel confina con il centro storico, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, ed ha prezzi molto contenuti. Ottimo come base di partenza per visitare la città: il servizio è discreto.

Hotel moderne situé pres de la place Beccaria a Florence. Grande chambre propre et confortable sur une artère où la circulation est malgré tout assez dense (nous étions au 4eme étage et malgré les fenetres fermées - climatisation oblige- nous pouvions entendre le bruit). Cela étant l'hotel est fonctionnel. Comme dans toute grande ville, le parking payant […] voisin (#20€/jour) est obligatoire.
