Preiswertes Hotel in recht zentraler Lage. Man kann zu Fuß fast alles erreichen. Das White House ist in ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. Es hat uns gut gefallen! Vor allem auch das Frühstück war super, was nicht immer in USA der Fall ist.

Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig zu erreichen. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

We chose this hotel for its location wich is only 10 min on foot to the White House. The staff is friendly, the breakfast room a bit too small, the rooms clean and spacious even featuring a small kitchen. We ended up in a smoking room, forgot to ask for non-smoking. Sadly the hotels own parking spaces were full, we had to use a neighboring hotels garage […] (5 min walk) at the same price. All in all nothing too much to complain without big highlights except for the convenient downtown location at a reasonable price - recommended. Mehr

Ich war mit vier Kindern Anfang Mai in diesem Hotel. Wir hatten eine Suite mit zwei Zimmern und 5 Betten. Nach einem Umzug war auch das Gästebett sehr ordentlich. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, das weiße Haus zu Fuß erreichbar. Abends gibt es einen ganz ordentlichen Imbiss, den wir an zwei Tagen als Abendessen genutzt haben (ein warmes Gericht mit Salat). […] Das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend, mit Pancakes zum selber machen. Das Personal war ausreichend freundlich, aber wohl eher auf Businessreisende und Kongressteilnehmer eingestellt als auf Touristen. Mehr

Neueres Hotel mit schoenen Zimmern. Doppelbetten etwas klein nur 1,60 breit. Tolles kostenloses Fruehstueck und von Mo bis Do abends kostenloser Snack mit Getraenken. Nachteile Klimatisierung laut und keine Lüftungsmöglichkeit. Fussweg zum weissen Haus ca 20 Minunten sonst alles ok.

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Jugendlichen (13/15) für vier Nächte im Homewood Suites. Lage war top, die Zimmer gross genug für alle. Einziger Nachteil, wir kriegten erst ein Raucherzimmer, obwohl wir ein Nichtraucherzimmer wollten. Ein Wechsel war erst nach zwei Nächten möglich (wegen ausgebuchtem Hotel). Danach hundertprozentig top.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Grosszügige Zimmer, gute Einrichtung. Sehr sauber. Insgesamt: gute Sache!

Perfect for our family of four. 2-3 blocks from the metro, but close enough to the mall for walk. Meals at the hotel were a huge plus.

We had a great experience at the Homewood Suites in DC. It's a very nice hotel, our room was comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area. We enjoyed the variety of food available at the breakfast every morning. The only negatives of our stay were the walk to the nearest Metro station and the dry air in the […] rooms (I think this is true of all hotels though, especially in the winter). The nearest Metro station was about a 10 minute walk, not a problem in nice weather but we were there in late February and the mornings were quite chilly. Also if you go to the museums and such you spend a lot of time walking and your calves get quite sore after a day or two! Mehr

REALLY NICE ROOM, FEELS LIKE HOME, KITCHEN, SOFA, 2 TVS, A HOME LIKE CONDO. NICE STAFF, UNDERSTANDING, ALLOWED ME TO CHECK OUT, AND KEEP CAR PARKED IN HOTEL, AND DID NOT CHARGE EXTRA PARKING FEE. The Hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. we have stayed here before and we liked it.

Excellent service. Hotel was very clean and staffs are polite. Convenient, monument and White House were within walking distance. We will definitely book with Homewood Suite in our next trip.

Everything was perfect, the valet parking is $33.00 a night though, but hey, I guess I understand with the terrible traffic in DC.

Our family stayed at the Home wood Suites by Hilton in downtown Washington D.C. for the New Year's holiday. It was a perfect experience! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings. We never had to take our car out of vallay parking. Everything you want to see is in walking distance. I would stay there again anytime!

This is our second stay at Homewood Suites in D.C.. It is centraly located and convienet to every thing. Staff was extremely helpful. Would recommend to anyone and would stay here again.

Though the hotel was dated and in of some refurbishing, the staff were excellent and the location was great.

Loved coming home most nights to a home cooked meal. Location was good and we walked almost everywhere.

20-minute or so walk to major attractions at the national mall. Great neighborhood with many nearby dining options. Or, if you want to really take advantage of the meal savings, you can do the "manager's reception" which is a complimentary dinner (evening's entree is posted on the fridge in your room) with free wine and beer! Only problem for us was […] the hours of the dinner. Wish it was 6-8pm, but it's 5-7 pm. Also, don't miss the crepe shop in very close walking distance. (Don't remember the name, but concierge can tell you.) My overall stay was great. Hotel staff was super friendly and our rooms were very clean. Housekeeper even put a load of dishes in the dishwasher while we were out! The view from the room wasn't too good but if that doesn't bother you, you won't regret staying here. Breakfast has plenty of options ranging from hot food, bagels and breads, cereals and […] waffles, yogurts and fruit, and juices. Checkout was a breeze. My only complaint was that we had our car parked in the garage with valet and everytime we needed something they had to bring the car up. I wish we could just go down and get it our selves. Mehr

This hotel suite was perfect for our group of 4 women. We enjoyed the full breakfast and also the evening meals that were complimentary.It was a little far out, 5 blocks to White House, but regardless there is a great deal of walking in DC . I highly recommend this hotel and am telling all of my friends about it. Great hotel, service, convenience, personnel, location. I can't say enough about this hotel. Not only do they serve a full breakfast but also a very great dinner !

I was very impressed with the people who staffed the front desk. They were friendly and helpful and even called my room to see if I was comfortable. The wi-fi worked great. I will stay there again when I go to DC and recommend it highly.

Staff very responsive & helpful; location very good. Only problem with room was the handicap accessible shower (which we did not need or request) which drained onto & flooded bathroom. Solution was a roll of towels as barrier to soak it up.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Decent location on the border of Dupont Circle and Downtown. Good access to monuments/museums as well as night life.

Beautiful room - king size bed with kitchenette. Lovely breakfast. Also, offered food and drinks between 5 and 7 pm. Close to white house, national mall (15 minute walk). Also, close to bus tours. It was wonderful to start out each day with breakfast and come back to dinner! The only thing I wish we had was a pool or hot tub to relax in...but Washington DC had so many places to see, we really didn't have time. Thanks for the great stay!

Great stay, freindly staff, valet parking was great, easy checkout. We walked to everything. 20 min. walk to mall. At the end of day, we took cab back to hotel. First night, the cab ride was 8 dollars. The second night, from the same location, the cab ride was 22 dollars. We noticed on the second cab ride the cabbie, kept hitting his meter untill it […] said 12 when we got in. I tried to question him, but he said he could not understand english, yet when we got in cab, he understood ghreat. Be careful. Mehr

This hotel was very nice. Excellent for long stays. Free breakfast but I did not really care for the selections. Location is perfect and in the middle of a few different neighborhoods.

Our family of four was comfortable enough in the suite. The daily breakfast was at times very crowded, but we all left satisfied. The nearest metro is a 15 minute walk which during the heat wave was almost too much. On cooler days, it was alright. The daily free hot breakfast is excellent - a wide selection of hot and cold food, which will help save you a lot of money. They offer a light evening meal M-Th nights, which is also quite good. The only negatives I would say are the high parking fees, which appear to be the same all over the city, and it is valet parking only. The other negative […] is the laundry room, they only have 2 washers and 2 dryers for a very large hotel and you really have to be on your toes if you want to be able to find an available machine! The title says it all, really. Separate living/bedroom areas. Mini Kitchen is handy. Very reasonably priced. Easy walk to a number of places. Good value.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 6 days visiting DC. We enjoyed the hotel's location, morning breakfast, and Monday-Thursay dinner, which is a great savings for a family in DC. The hotel is in walking distance of most things you want to visit in DC, but also close to Metro stations. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

If you intend to use the sofa bed, you might want to reconsider. When I opened it to put the sheets on it, I closed it right back up again and slept on the couch, covered with the sheet. Really poor mattress...needs to be replaced. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice, breakfast is good, and it's within walking distance of the metro and plenty of restaurants […] and sightseeing activities. Mehr

We stayed here during the Cherry Blossom Festival and were very impressed by this hotel. We were especially happy with the location. We walked to the White House, it was just blocks away. The staff was great. They held our bags when we arrived early and even let us check in as soon as a room was available. The room was clean and comfortable.
