Comfort Suites Rapid River Lodge - Baxter

We went mid week and found out that the pools and water park were closed . We chose this hotel to experience all of the pools with our grandson. The season of the year and /or the lack of a like guard is not an acceptable reason if advertised as an included motel experience.

This hotel had great service from the min we walked in. The pool area was fun and our kids of all ages enjoyed it and us as adults liked the water slides. The staff is super friendly especially the pool staff. Adam clearly went out of his way to welcome our large family and Lindsay was great as well. We cannot wait to come back again for our 5 yr olds […] birthday:) The only thing I would like to see different is for the hotel to obtain more two person tubes with covered front hole as there were only two available and the little kids felt much safer in those but there were three families with four or more children so we all just shared the two some families being more thoughtful to time then others:) but I dont feel this would be a reason to dock the hotel either but it would be great if they got a few more! Nice employees.

Staff was very helpful and polite. Room service great, close to variety of restaurants and the free breakfast was better than i expected.

Everything is very nice at this newer hotel. No compaints at all. The water park has two slides with an indoor lazy river that were fun even for us adults.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, nice big rooms with refrigerator and microwave. Waterpark is basically a shallow pool with a couple slides but the kids enjoyed it.

Please be aware that the pool is under construction currently (5-23-2011). My colleague actually booked directly for almost half as less than I did via Hotels.com....nothing about the pool being closed....very disappointed!

The hotel was nice we came foe a one year old birthday party the pool was beyond cold. When ask if they could turn it up it took almost 6 hours for someone to finally turn the water temp up by this time it was almost 8pm so the use of a pool for a little one was to late. When ask why the pool was so cold noone seem to have the answer.

great staff! clean, big rooms, nice water park, not the biggest, but really nice for Baxter. You will pay the same price at a hotel without a water park, so why not stay there and get the water park?

We stated at this hotel the weekend after Thanksgiving so we could go to a local town for a celebration. While we only stayed one night we found the accommodations very comfortable. Breakfast was good. We didn’t go into the pool area but it looked nice. We would come again.

This hotel has a small waterpark that was perfect for our 6 and 3 year olds. They had a blast! We used it the night we checked in as well as the next morning. It had 2 water slides, a lazy river, basketball hoops, and a splash pool with slides for the little ones. My son had so much fun that he didn't even want to go up to the arcade. Our room was very […] quiet and comfortable. We had a double queen suite, which also had a sofa bed. That was a life saver b/c our kids had problems sleeping together. There were extra sheets, pillows, and blankets in the dresser, which came in handy. The breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but it was better than just a box of doughnuts. I would stay here again! Mehr
