Over all a very romantic and charming hotel in an old style. The hotel room was cozy and warm. Faccade of the hotel is very beautiful with the old church on the side. But how they presented and conserved it, is not so convincing. It has to be tip top clean. We loved the flowers they planted in the plant boxes, the entrance rotating antique door is magnificent, […] the reception desk is a little bit dark. The hotel lobby is very comfortable and romantic with the garden view, the old bar should serve more cocktails and drinks, and an old piano is missing, musician should play every during meal time, ex: during breakfast and/or during dinner to attract guest entering the magnificent yet a little costly restaurant. We enjoyed this hotel. As for the town, we preferred our stay in Avignon which was close enough.

I booked last minute (in the morning of the day I was checking-in). Got a great deal. I booked based on the photos of the hotel, luckily for us, the location of the hotel was close to most Ancient places. We practically walked to most places. The staff was great, we drank only coffee and it was on the house. CAR parking is valet only but we got a […] front parking so it was free...... Hotel was a converted 15th century Monetary, rooms were small but were great. Overall, it was great experience and truly this hotel belongs to Small Luxury Group Hotels. Mehr

Everything about this place was awesome. Huge bathtubs, good products, cable, etc. Very very charming area and helpful staff. My only complaint is that the bedding was very hard. Mattress and pillows both stiff and coarse, normal fabrics. Nothing fancy about the beds, did not sleep that well.

The hotel was beautiful and provided every convenience. The hotel restaurant service was very slow, the somelier was unpleasant, and it was very expensive. The other staff in the hotel were courteous and very helpful. Loved the location.

We totally enjoyed our return visit to Jules Cesar. The staff are very pleasant & professional, the location perfect for visiting Arles many historic sights, museums and markets. Lovely pool, first class restaurant. Couldn't want much more.

In need of major update to qualify for 3 or 4 stars. Restaurant extremely expensive.

Great location, on the main street wherer the market day is set-up. That was a very pleasant surprise. A block from a bus stop and next door to the INFO center. Very plush room and hotel. Great people at the hotel desk and extremely helpful. The last day we missed our bus for the train station and one of the employees drove us to the station at the […] last minute themselves. Hotel staff - the worst! Restaurant service - atrocious!!! We arrived close to the end of the breakfast buffet and they give us dirty looks, would not bring hot coffe and then took all the food away and closed up on us. At night they turned the lights off on us and locked us out. I saw one customer go to the front desk and complain that his toilet hadn't […] worked for TWO DAYS. This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. It has an old, traditional charm. The hotel itself is a converted convent so the archtecture, enclosed central garden, and grounds are lovely! There is a second private garden, which frames the outdoor pool area--it makes it seem like a secluded spa sanctuary even though the hotel itself is conveniently […] located centrally and only a 5 minute walk from all the major sights in the old city. This hotel is an excellent place in the heart of the city. It is within walking distance of all the area's attractions, stores and restaurant. However, it is set back off the street, so it is very quite! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Brilliant location. Olde worlde charm. Lovely thick walls against hot Provence sun - oasis of calm.

The hotel is located just outside the old city of Arles in a great location. that about it. it looks like the hotel is not maintained properly, floors are Squeaky, Shower had no water pressure/no hot water. feels very old...

This converted convent has everything - comfort, character, beautiful gardens, charming rooms and friendly and helpful staff. It is also literally a stone's throw from the old centre of Arles - five minutes walk from the Amphitheatre and right across the road from restaurants and coffee shops. The only negative was that it was difficult to park on arrival […] as the small drive-in area in front of hotel was full, however when we eventually did find a space down the road the staff re-parked the car and had it ready for us outside the hotel when we were leaving. This hotel has a great location if you are traveling by a car. Easy access from highway and still only about 5 minutes walking distance to the town center. While we were walking in the town we have seen a few frustrated tourists trying to navigate their cars through the town's narrow streets to their hotels in the center. We ate in the hotel restaurant […] (not cheap, but nothing is cheap in Europe with the today's dollar rate of exchange) and liked the food. Hotels.com negotiated lowest price got us a very small room (about 20 square meters), but it was good enough for one night stay. Should you plan to stay longer I would recommend to pay extra for a larger room. Mehr

The staff were very helpfull. Their staff speaks english. The rooms are comfortable. The pool was clean and maintained. I would recommend this holtel over any others there simply for the lovely breakfast served on the terrace.

Très satisfait de mon très court séjour(une nuit), mais c'est aussi sur des temps aussi courts que se mesure la qualité d'une prestation. Je suis ammené sans doute à régulièrement transiter par la ville d'Arles et je ne manquerai pas de réserver en priorité une chambre dans cet hôtel, d'autant plus que ma moto peut être stationnée en toute sécurité […] . ホテルは大変便利なところにあり、レンタカーで行ったが見つけやすかった。車の駐車も、ほテルの人任せで良かった。 受付の女性は、非常に感じよく親切だった。 ホテルのレストランで食事したが、テラス席で、味も雰囲気も満足した。 団体客が多くいたが、行動時間がずれていたので、別に気にならなかった。

Personalet var særdeles venligt og serviceorienteret. Hotellet ligger med bedste beliggenhed - få hundrede meter fra alle de største seværdigheder. Meget charmerende, stilfuldt og eksklusivt hotel - om end en smule nedslidt. Fremragende restaurant med udsøgt mad og vin til rimelige priser.

Excellent hotel, propre et confortable, avec un personnel charmant. Par contre, nous vous déconseillons vivement d'y prendre le petit déjeuner : il n'y a guere de buffet et pas de choix contrairement a ce qui est indiqué sur le menu, et nous n'avons pas été mis au courant du changement... Cet hôtel est un musée: le musée de l'hôtel de luxe des années 50 avant l'invention de l'ascenseur, de canal+ de la tnt et des liaisons internet. Une ambiance vintage finalement agréable car hors du temps ! Accueil efficace et aimable . Petit déjeuner savoureux Une bonne adresse qui aurait sans doute plu à mes arrières grand-parents.
