Red Carpet Inn Airport/Cruiseport - Fort Lauderdale

Personal war weder hilfsbereit noch freundlich. Es auch sehr laut, zum Einten natürlich weil der Flughafen in der Nähe liegt und zum zum Anderen fuhren bereits am Morgen früh schwere LKW's vom Platz.

Overall, sqalid conditions but clean and the staff was pleasant. I stayed here as a last minute resort as I was in the process of moving and needed a quick overnight hotel room.

The hotel is a typical average rate hotel, except, I had to request another non-smoking room, because the one offered at check-in smelled like smoke and not so clean, with hair on the pillow, etc. Since, it was the first time I stayed at Red Carpet, but I did not like my neighbor guests, to the point I felt unsafe and requested to relocate, but all […] surrounding hotels were full; thus, I had to stay against my will. Overall i was happiest with the transportation service to and from the airport. Unfortunately, it rained and i got wet getting from my room to the main building where the office and restaurant are located. maybe the walkway could be covered in the future?

Room was ok, pretty clean. vending machines everywhere and the resturant in the lobby was pretty good. All in all not a bad place to stay for a night but it was a little further from the beach due to traffic than originally thought, but ita right off of the main highway so can complain about that.

Worked well for an overnight stay close to the airport on the way to another destination

After a very late night at work, I was waken up at 8AM by the banging and clanging of the vending machine being refilled while the guy doing the job was argueing very loudly with his wife/GF/SO on his cellphone for about twenty minutes. Poor choice. This was nothing but a truck stop. There were bugs in the bed O. No microwave refrigerator. The requested a twenty dollar deposit for an iron. Would not recommend. Pool was even dirty. Employees were very helpful and friendly.

We needed a cheap place to stay close to the airport, so it worked for an overnight.

The price, very good. The location, close to anything, including the airport. I would have rated it even higher except for a few issues; There was a half inch gap under the door, welcoming bugs and spiders. No frig, which brings me to the next issue, only one ice machine location! When you come to this hotel, bring a cooler.

First room dirty then moved to another room. Advertised Wi-Fi not working we were told that is normal, too many people on line.

We stayed here as we were arriving late and then heading to Miami the next morning. It was perfect for this! The hotel was about 5 or 10 minutes from the airport via car. Within the place there's a dinner type of restaurant for morning breakfast you can choose to eat there or head elsewhere. Our room clean and in perfect order. To be honest given the […] price range one could worry but this by far exceeded expectations. Only cautionary note, it seems a lot of peopel who go on the cruises stay here overnight. Not sure if you would need shuttle service but if you do you really might want to arrainge in advance. The cruise groups were large and if you needed any attention from hotel while these groups are checking in or out, etc, you'll be waiting a bit. First our room had roaches so they changed us then the next room AC didn't work and the last room TV was jacked...never again will I stay at that place...what's funny is the staff was nice but the problems we had wasn't!!

I left Do Not Disturb sign, yhey came in any way 3 times. TV sound is bad, each channel has different sound levels.Internet acces in their computer is hard to use.

Nice clean room, friendly staff, location close to everything, Easy to find. Was a bit loud from outside noise.

I stayed in Miami for a week with a couple of friends and our flight back was from Fort Lauderdale at 7am. So we decided to spend the last night close to the airport. This hotel was the cheapest we found and it offered a free shuttle to and from the airport. We took the bus to the airport, called the hotel and they sent the shuttle to pick us up! When […] we checked in we told them we had to leave at 5 am in the morning to catch our flight. The hourly shuttle would start at 6, but they said they would take us!! I loved the service! My husband, myself and several people we met who were staying at this place..wow.. gross..in the words of one of the other people staying there.."nasty"...thats a direct quote. Would never ever stay there again.

The only good thing about this hotel was the price and shuttle bus to airport. generally very poor condition and cleanliness. would not recommend this hotel.

It's my second time staying there and I'll be back again.

Everything was really good, there was this point when the water was off for about 2-3 hours but besides this everthing was really good.

OUR STAY WAS JUST RIGHT AND THE SCHUTTLE SERVICE WAS GREAT! THEY PICKED US UP FROM CRUISE RIGHT AFTER WE CALLED, AND THE NEXT DAY WE WERE TAKEN TO AIRPORT ON TIME! ALSO THE POOL WAS NICE AND WE EAT AT THE RESTURANT TWICE; BUT A LITTLE PRICEY FOR THE FOOD THEY OFFERED!

NICE ; HAS REASTURANT AND BIG POOL AND ALL THE SHUTTLES WE NEEDED AND PICKED US RIGHT UP FROM CRUISE WHEN WE CALLED. TOOK US TO AIRPORT AND ON TIME AND WE STAYED TWO DIFFERENT NIGHTS. THANK YOU SHARON AND DENNY

The hotel worked for us because we checked in at midnight and left at 8 am. Upon entering the room, a roach was crawling on the floor. Kinda grossed me out. Other than that, the room was "fine" for the price we paid.

Receptionist or front loby lady's at this hotel had a bad attitude when asked for help or directions to the closes beach. one was very sarcastic and literally rolled her eyes when i asked for help, how i can get to the closes beach. she actually replied get a Cab. had NO hot water... seems like the hot water was set to allow a certain amount was barely […] warm. it was awful. the appearance was nothing like the pictures posted on the site. very dirty around the area the parking spots are not marked. Cleaning crew's clothing looked dirty. but nothing like the main lobby lady's. BAD ATTITUDE! Mehr

I loved this place. I ended up there at about 1am when my plan landed, and they have a cop in the lobby. At first I was nervous that this was an indication of a poor Hotel, but it turns out the owner really encourages the officers to stay there. The officer told me he had been on the beat for 15 years in this area and that this was the best hotel. […] First the owner does not rent to people in the area (think about why) well as a result there is no crime at the hotel. Second...tile floors...think about what happens to a hotel carpet. Well that stuff does not stay with a tile so you are already getting a better room. Second it is a double sheeted bed with a small comforter if you wish. This means you can get away with not using the comforter because we all know ho gross they are. The restaurant has fantastic food, I wish the buffet was open earlier, but the regular menu is also great. Shuttle to the airport is fast and friendly. I really don't like the Miami area but I have to stay here a lot for work, for my money this is the best hotel I have been to. Mehr

The red carpet inn was the cheapest hotel we could find in the area,despite this it was clean and pleasant if a little noisy because of the trucks ,freeway and airport.Maintenance came promptly when our toilet backed up and all the staff were friendly and helpful.Lulu 's restaurant had good breakfasts but we were warned against having dinner there.Bedding […] was crisp and clean and the pool and grill areas were pleasant. Old Hotel that is outdated. Rooms were clean but old. Tiles in the tub area looked dirty. Truckers hotel. The small restaurant is very good and the staff there was very friendly. Desk staff acted like they did not care if you were there or not. I would not recomment this hotel.

This hotel was a big disappointment. It was not in a good area and the walkway and outside elevator were in poor condition. We arrived late and didn't feel safe. The room must've been clean because the smell of bleach hit us when we walked into our room. Makes me wonder what they were trying to clean! The bathroom was tiny and dated. The door barely […] closed by the toilet. We didn't use the air conditioning because it made so much noise we weren't sure we could sleep. Upon leaving the hotel for the airport, we noticed our front tire was almost flat and the cap had been removed. It was a brand new rental car. Definitely stick with a name brand hotel next time. Booked this because it offered shuttle service to/from airport and cruisport. Big But - the shuttle service is from 6am-10pm, so I had to pay a cab to get back to the airport!! The staff was okay, the a/c worked very well, but the soles of my socks turned black from the floor!! Had to get housekeeping to mop it. This place is in the middle of absolutely […] nowhere. It has a restaurant but not great. There is a Rodeway Inn next door with a better restaurant, still not great, but better. Of course, the prices are absurd due to the captive audience. Speaking of prices, the room charge was OBSCENE!! It was four times normal, due to spring break. Apparently, spring break lasts all spring in Ft. Lauderdale... the bed was comfortable enough. There are 2 computers in the lobby, but in order to print out airplane boarding passes, we had to go to the Rodeway Inn. The shuttle service was good, the drivers friendly. This looks like a very old Holiday Inn with the large picture window in front. The door stuck. It had minimal furnishings and was very noisy. The air conditioner was so noisy that we had to turn it off to sleep.

Room was very disappointing. The couch and cover on the bed had cigarette burn holes in them and the couch was filthy. The bathroom shower had mold growing in it on the tiles. I wasn't very comfortable in the bed with the holes and dirty coverlet.

I truly enjoyed my recent stay at the Red Carpet Hotel, my only concern was I am allergic to cats and dogs and there were about three stray cats hanging around the hotel. I had an allergic but for the most part I was good. I would suggest that management address this issue for future visits.

I was very surprised at the litter everywhere, dirt and deferred maintenance were widespread and prevalent, the bottoms of my feet were quickly black when I walked the tile floor of my room barefoot on arrival, toilet always took SEVERAL flushes to clear, ragged bathmat, guests/staff shouting across the courtyard/pool to each other, poorly maintained […] parking lot, a/c smelly and partly disassembled, the restaurant was way overpriced and staffed by only one person. It was like a Motel 6 and rundown truck stop combined. Clearly it is being milked for whatever the owners can quickly get out of it before tearing it down (hopefully). Mehr
